Well maintained room, amazing breakfast selections, great staffs, particularly - Ali at the reception speaks fluent English and he helped us with the itinerary. The owner himself serves the breakfast in the morning, location is in the old town, very close to all major attractions and tram station within close proximity.

Great view from the balcony of the upper store, where breakfast is being served. The breakfast itself is very nourishing and tasty. The location fully meets one's expectations, if you want to reach the most interesting tourist attractions in the old town within minutes. The personnel is very friendly. I have only words of appreciation for Aydin, the receptionist, whose helpfulness and kindness know no boundaries. He is very well organised and can give you valuable and precise information about local transportation in Istanbul, what and when can be visited, where to have your dinner in the town according to your preferences etc.

Some pieces of equipment are shabby (windows, frige) and need to be replaced, but this is a question of investment. This doesn't contrast a lot with the neighborhood which is full of old and somewhat shabby buildings, not being however a slum area. If you accept all these aspects as being part of an "epoque perfume", than you have nothing to complain about.

My favourite thing here was the view from the terrace overlooking the local church and the sea in the distance - perfect place for morning coffee and breakfast. The location was great for me - about a 10 minute walk from the tram stop and hidden away a bit from the hustle and bustle as down a side street. I felt fine walking around as a lone female traveller at night time. Bed was comfy and nice and clean room and bathroom. Laziz on reception was absolutely wonderful - so helpful and chatty and gave me a great recommendation for a local hammam a 3 min walk from the place - Kadirga Hamam would 10/10 recommend. Would deffo recommend to stay here in Istanbul!

Potentially not the most accessible location for anyone with mobility issues as on a steep hill

People were great! Marwe the owner would help with the breakfast and she was amazing!! Ali the receptionist was very helpful. They both guided us and oriented us on best way to move around. Zero pressure to buy tours or anything. They genuinely cared about us having a good time as a family in Istanbul. Cozy little place. The bathrooms are smaller than American standards but you have to understand that you are in a historical district with very old buildings. The fact that they maintain it very well, clean and installed an elevator for the guest, it’s already awesome. Pretty authentic. Close to main attractions. View of the Maramara sea was awesome. Breakfast was amazing, they serve you, everything was fresh and quality stuff, no fillers.

Everything was excellent

👉 General note: Thank you so much to the guys at reception for their help. Arrived earlier than my friend on the first day, they will not let you get bored) Quickly advise you on the place if you need to buy flowers, buy groceries, go to a restaurant, etc. Special thanks for the breakfasts and for keeping the rooms clean) 🔥 Service. Guys will help you: - Call a taxi to the airport, you can have peace of mind that the prices will be average and affordable. I recommend taking advantage of this because my friend paid X2 euro the average price when she called a taxi herself - They will help you book some excursions and will also WhatsApp you in advance so you won't be late for them - They will advise you on what food and sweets to try in Istanbul, show you everything with pictures. - Help you understand the local transportation in the city: Istanbul card, how to use and recharge it, how to get around the city at certain times of the day. - Communicative, responsive, tolerant and customer-oriented guys with whom you will always be interested to talk on different topics (Russian, English are also known). Careful, there may be a lot of laughter :) - Take care of your comfort. If something breaks, air conditioner doesn't work or whatever, they will help and call a master to solve it asap for you. They will always ask if you found the place/restaurant etc that you were looking for, help you figure it out if something didn't work out 📍Location, the hotel: - Great location from all angles. Lots of places within walking distance or a subway/tram stop nearby to get where you need to go - There are things that can be improved, but that will happen over time anyway, so there is no limit to perfection) - There are external factors like singing during service, around town, but it happens also in any other hotel nearby.

The staff were lovely and so helpful, the room was cleaned daily, the reception staff very friendly, breakfast staff very helpful. The breakfast was nice, an eclectic mix of dishes, but something for everyone. The staff were very attentive and the view from the restaurant was amazing.

The hotel needs a little renovating in places. Bathroom tends to flood during showers, air con left room hot and stuffy, nothing major but a few tweaks needed. Also the location is fine, easy to get to plenty of restaurants and an easy walk to the Sultanahmet district but the surrounding streets are a little run down and the tram stop is up such a steep hill (and I mean ridiculously steep and very long) that it made getting to other areas a bit arduous. I would probably choose a different area next time just for ease of getting about. However the area felt safe and there were supermarkets, restaurants and touristy shops around so pleasant enough.

Breakfast. The room was cleaned every day. Staff was polite and friendly. The boy that worked there on the reception in the afternoons was really helpful with explaining which parts and what to visit in Istanbul and explained every question that we had.

If you are going by a car do not park in the hotels parking. They ask for 18 euros a day. There is parking 2 minutes from hotel and they asked for 9 euros a day. Literally half the price of the hotels parking. Another thing is you could hear literally everything from the floor you’re on. If someone closes a door your own front door to the room shakes and bangs, which woke me many times from my sleep.

The hotel is well-located on a quiet street within walking distance of many attractions such as the Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. It has a top floor dining area that serves a lovely breakfast (not a buffet) and has a spectacular view, which includes the Sea of Marmara with its many boats and ships. There are many casual and inexpensive restaurants nearby for other meals. The hotel is run by a lovely family and staff that go out of their way to be helpful and make your stay comfortable. Aydin, who works the front desk during the day, was particularly helpful in arranging tours and securing taxis.

Our room was small and quite basic. The bathroom needed updating. The hotel was difficult for our taxi to find because the street it’s on is closed to car traffic during the day. (Once we figured that out we were able to find ways around it.)

Nice locations, could easily access the tourist attractions by foot and also by public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpfull if you want to ask questions about some things and they speak very good english. The rooms were like in the photos, the terrace at the last floor had a great view and the food was good and plenty of it for a decent breakfast.
