The KA hotel is a great choice. Emra and Mazloom are wonderful hosts, helpful and honest. My family and me felt very well and comfortable. We stayed for' 2 weeks in the hotel and nothing bothered us. After 1 week one of my auntie joined us without any previous plan. Mazloom and Emra welcomed her as their own family. We received extra bed without any extra charge. Much appreciated. In general all facilities were great as described. Comfortable beds, warm water, clean hotel felt very secure. The Wifi was perfect. We had a family room with garden view. It was very quit without any disturbance of noises and road trafic. The hotel was fully booked but we could not hear anything from neighbours, means the building has a great soundproofing. From previous reviews I was aware of the hills in Istanbul. Mazloom showed us an alternative walking way to Grand bazar and the rest of mosques that my 82 years old father could walk. We even didn't need to get any taxi. I cannot recommend KA Hotel any better. Yes.... for my next trip to Istanbul I'll choose KA Hotel again and again. Thanks to Mazloom and Emra

I liked everything ....

The workers at the hotel are very hospitable and kind. They allowed us to keep our luggage for a couple hours after checkout and helped us load them in the transfer. This was really helpful as we were a large family with both elderly and a young child with autism.

There were a few issues such as only cold water in the shower but they were quick to check them. We had the same problem again but because we were leaving in the morning after a short stay we didn’t mention it a second time. It is close to everything but downhill so for older guests it may be difficult because everything is uphill from the hotel.

- Wifi and facilities were excellent. We could use it even from outside the hotel - Staff at reception was very helpful and welcoming - The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the stay, there was even few ships visible from the apartment (although not a very clear view)

- There was little connectivity with public transport, and requires quite a bit of climbing up the slope to reach the Blue Mosque/ Hagia Sophia - We had accidentally booked for wrong dates (non refundable) and it was a nightmare to get the dates changed, requiring a lot of back and forth with the customer service. We were happy that this got done after multiple requests, otherwise we'd have lost a large sum.

I highly recommend KA Hotel & Suites. My family and I spent a wonderful 7 days in Istanbul at KA Hotel & Suites, situated on Kadırga Limanı Street. The neighbourhood is fantastic, with 2 markets and several small shops within easy reach. Just down the street, you can purchase freshly baked bread. The hotel's location is perfect, nestled between Sultan Ahmet Square (home to the Blue Mosque) and Kapali Çarsi, making it a convenient 10-minute walk to both destinations. It's worth noting that there is a gentle uphill slope to reach these places, which may be a slight challenge for some, but experienced travellers won't find it problematic. Throughout our week-long stay in Istanbul, we didn't need to use taxis thanks to the proximity of the tram station on Çemberlitaş Street. We purchased an Istanbul card that covered all four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). If you're arriving by plane, I recommend requesting KA Hotel to arrange airport-hotel transportation. Even when our flight was delayed by 2 hours, the driver was prompt and patiently waited for us. We explored numerous attractions, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Kapali Çarşi, Nurosmaniye Mosque, Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim Square, Topkapi Palace, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art, Gulhane Park, and even enjoyed a boat excursion on the Asian side of Istanbul. When shopping for souvenirs, I'd advise against the Kapali Çarşi for the best deals. Instead, venture into the neighbouring streets where you'll find more affordable options. We booked a Deluxe apartment, which was impeccably clean and spacious. The cleaning staff almost daily replaced our towels. While the apartment's appliances are basic, they are quite handy for making simple meals, such as eggs or soup. Lastly, I'd like to extend my gratitude to the exceptionally polite hotel staff, Mazlum and Emre, who provided invaluable advice on what to see and when to visit each attraction.

A complete punt when selecting KA Hotel & Suites considering relatively a new establishment for a family vacation but certainly a chance, which was worth taking. Seems like a new build with stylishly decorated suites in an old city setting. Must say that the sizes of the suites are much larger than many on offer by any other establishments around the area and it must have taken some homework and brainstorming by the very capable team of KA Hotel and Suites when opening the doors for the guests. Brilliant location. Supermarket, literally next door. Many eateries around to suit anyone's taste buds. Sultanahmet Attractions only at a walking distance. Between 10 to 15 minutes walk to Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet Square, Blue Mosque or Hagia sophia. Last but not the least, Team KA really rocks. Mazlum, a real trouble shooter and what a brilliant guy, ever ready to help with an infectious smile. Hayiullah, very helpful and pleasant. Both mentioned, always there to help and that too with a nice cup of Turkish coffee. Nadra, the housekeeping lady, always on a go. Lastly, Cihan, the engineer.. the owner, a friendly and a very vibrant person leading the team. Thank you Team KA.. Guys you have been AWESOME.

Suggested to the team to add microwave units to the suites besides the already provided cutlery. Can be a great addition as the guests can conveniently warm up any food if and when they need.

everything the stuff were amazing especially Mazloom they are very helpful. please ask them about everything you want ( taxi, PCR test..etc)

everything the whole apartment the staff were amazing , nothing was too much . Our first time in Istanbul was made so much better because of both the guys on reception. We were in the centre of town near to all the main sites . Definitely coming back and staying here again. would score it 11 out of 10 for accommodation & staff

The best part of the property were the staff. Mazloum especially was exceptional in his welcome and help and support throughout the stay. He provided lots of guidance and solved any of the problems we encountered. He was especially chivalrous at the end of the stay when he contacted our airport transfer company who were really terrible. The property itself was an oasis in the city that we looked forward to coming back to. It was clean and quiet and very conveniently located to all the historical sites as well as shops and restaurants.

Not much to dislike at all. I would recommend the bathroom be cleaned at least once or twice during our 8 night stay

The hotel is not far from many tourist hotspots. Although a little uphill walk to get to Grand Bazar or Blue Mosque and Ayasofya but its worth it considering the overall experience. The apartment was very clean and the staff was super friendly especially Emre and Mazlum. They looked after us very well and helped us in every possible way to make our stay comfortable and relaxed.

We had a little problem with hot water because our boiler kept going in error mode. We had to switch it off and then on every time it showed a red light which was a nightmare especially if you are taking a shower and the hot water stops in the middle. Something that should be fixed straight away rather asking clients to restart it every time.
