The KA hotel is a great choice. Emra and Mazloom are wonderful hosts, helpful and honest. My family and me felt very well and comfortable. We stayed for' 2 weeks in the hotel and nothing bothered us. After 1 week one of my auntie joined us without any previous plan. Mazloom and Emra welcomed her as their own family. We received extra bed without any extra charge. Much appreciated. In general all facilities were great as described. Comfortable beds, warm water, clean hotel felt very secure. The Wifi was perfect. We had a family room with garden view. It was very quit without any disturbance of noises and road trafic. The hotel was fully booked but we could not hear anything from neighbours, means the building has a great soundproofing. From previous reviews I was aware of the hills in Istanbul. Mazloom showed us an alternative walking way to Grand bazar and the rest of mosques that my 82 years old father could walk. We even didn't need to get any taxi. I cannot recommend KA Hotel any better. Yes.... for my next trip to Istanbul I'll choose KA Hotel again and again. Thanks to Mazloom and Emra

I liked everything ....

Our stay at the hotel was incredible, thanks to its strategic location - just a 10-15 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The area offers a wide range of dining options, from budget-friendly to upscale, and there’s a cosy coffee shop next door where hotel guests get a discount. For convenience, there’s a barber, pharmacy, supermarket, and even a late-night shop nearby. A traditional Turkish bread shop is also just around the corner, perfect for a quick bite. Laundry service is available, but if you're looking for a cheaper option, there’s a self-service laundry just a 5-minute walk away, with a soup shop across the street to relax in while you wait. What truly made the stay exceptional was Emre. His hospitality was unmatched, from offering cold water bottle upon arrival and set the tone for what would be an unforgettable experience. Every morning, Emre greeted us with a smile, asked if we wanted tea/coffee while waiting for our Uber, and even invited us to share some traditional Turkish bread. He was always one step ahead, fulfilling all our needs before we even asked, and offering invaluable travel tips. Emre went above and beyond by giving us a travel card, ensuring we had everything we needed, and consistently checking in to see if there was anything more he could do to make our stay perfect. His attention to detail and genuine care for his guests is something you rarely see—he truly understands that a small gesture can make a huge difference. If Emre ever opens his own hotel, I’d be the first to endorse it, and I’d even invest in it! His dedication and passion for hospitality are inspiring. Kudos to the hotel for hiring such an extraordinary individual, and to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. I would return without hesitation on my next visit to Istanbul.

There were roadworks near the hotel during the last two days of our stay, which made it difficult for Uber drivers to come. This had nothing to do with the hotel, and Emre went above and beyond by offering to pay for our taxi. This guy's service is absolutely amazing!

The hotel is located in the center of the city, close to all main attractions. It is about 15 mins from the metro station and from the tram stop. There are some restaurants with delicious Turkish cuisine near the hotel. There are also some kitchen set in the room which allowed us to cook breakfasts. We had some problems in the bathroom but it was repaired very quickly. Everything is perfect for both long and short stays in Istanbul. Huge thanks to the guys at the reception. They were very friendly, polite, helped with all requests! We will be happy to stay here our next time in Istanbul :)

Sometimes the Wi-fi connection was not very stable.

The King Suite is located on the top floor of the hotel and has a veranda looking over the city towards the Bosphorus. Could also see other popular attractions from the balcony. Staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to any requests that we made and the room was just as advertised.The hotel was very central, and we found it easy to locate places to eat and shop at. Most of the attractions in Istanbul, like the Blue mosque and the Basilica Cistern etc are walking distance from the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The only drawbacks were that we could not bring food back to the room and sofa bed was just a sofa, although quite comfortable.

Boutique hotel, really friendly staff located a short walk to the main attractions, mosques, palance, bazaar. Great cafe next door, and local shops, restaurants and supermarket right outside. Very comfortable room and kitchenette and aircondition. Quiet from our room at the rear.

Our selected room was not available on arrival so we were given an upgraded room with no kitchenette but it was an inconvenience having to swap rooms after unpacking for 1 day despite the upgraded room. The hot water cut off a couple of times due to power issues. Bathtowels a bit worn needs to be replaced.

Everything was awesome, especially the location of this hotel, the manager, and the guys at the reception. Everyone, including the cleaning lady, was so friendly and helpful. It felt like a family, and they were always ready to solve any problems we had during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Istanbul. You can find lots of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and Spice Bazaar are all within a 10-20 minute walk.

We stayed here for a week. It's a great area. Lots of shops and restaurants very close by. A short walk (uphill) to the main sights, but you get used to the hills in Istanbul. We had a suite on the garden side and we never heard any other guests or outside noise. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Hakan saved the day when our booked taxi failed to arrive (not booked via the hotel I hasten to add!) His advice and quick thinking ensured that we didn't miss our flight home.

There were no negatives to our stay

We are so glad we ended our stay at Istanbul with such a great stay. This is one of the happiest reviews I’ll write for our trip in Turkey. The people here are the stars of the stay! They are super sweet, kind and are always ready to help you out. They constantly offer you tea, coffee and water for free and make sure you are refreshed at all times. They even upgraded us to a higher floor on arrival. They helped us pick restaurants, liquor shops, laundry and so many other spots whenever we had queries about things. Such helpful people! Rooms are clean and restocked and they clean it up every day as well. Umbrellas are also available in case you want to step out during an unexpected rain which we had to face. Very very clean lobby space. What a beautiful way for us to leave Turkey. This will be on our return list for sure!

The workers at the hotel are very hospitable and kind. They allowed us to keep our luggage for a couple hours after checkout and helped us load them in the transfer. This was really helpful as we were a large family with both elderly and a young child with autism.

There were a few issues such as only cold water in the shower but they were quick to check them. We had the same problem again but because we were leaving in the morning after a short stay we didn’t mention it a second time. It is close to everything but downhill so for older guests it may be difficult because everything is uphill from the hotel.

I highly recommend KA Hotel & Suites. My family and I spent a wonderful 7 days in Istanbul at KA Hotel & Suites, situated on Kadırga Limanı Street. The neighbourhood is fantastic, with 2 markets and several small shops within easy reach. Just down the street, you can purchase freshly baked bread. The hotel's location is perfect, nestled between Sultan Ahmet Square (home to the Blue Mosque) and Kapali Çarsi, making it a convenient 10-minute walk to both destinations. It's worth noting that there is a gentle uphill slope to reach these places, which may be a slight challenge for some, but experienced travellers won't find it problematic. Throughout our week-long stay in Istanbul, we didn't need to use taxis thanks to the proximity of the tram station on Çemberlitaş Street. We purchased an Istanbul card that covered all four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). If you're arriving by plane, I recommend requesting KA Hotel to arrange airport-hotel transportation. Even when our flight was delayed by 2 hours, the driver was prompt and patiently waited for us. We explored numerous attractions, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Kapali Çarşi, Nurosmaniye Mosque, Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim Square, Topkapi Palace, the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art, Gulhane Park, and even enjoyed a boat excursion on the Asian side of Istanbul. When shopping for souvenirs, I'd advise against the Kapali Çarşi for the best deals. Instead, venture into the neighbouring streets where you'll find more affordable options. We booked a Deluxe apartment, which was impeccably clean and spacious. The cleaning staff almost daily replaced our towels. While the apartment's appliances are basic, they are quite handy for making simple meals, such as eggs or soup. Lastly, I'd like to extend my gratitude to the exceptionally polite hotel staff, Mazlum and Emre, who provided invaluable advice on what to see and when to visit each attraction.
