The welcoming staff and the great decor of the reception. I was pleasantly surprised. The room, was reasonable sized and most importantly it was not noisy inside. The bed was so comfortable and they even had their minibar filled with treats. That's the first time in a while I have stayed at a "mid ranged" hotel and the minibar had items in it. But most importantly, most importantly, the staff is awesome. Always willing to help, smiling and welcoming. The Hotel is a stones throw away from the Luna Park and as soon as you step out there are delicious restaurants waiting for you. The hotel breakfast was tasty as well. They even offer different pillow options!

Well, I did not mind this too much so I didn't bring it up but my bathroom rain shower was not working, or maybe I couldn't get it to work. Other than that bathroom was totally fitted with toiletries, and yhe handheld shower worked fine. Temperature of water and pressure was good.

It’s location, Friendly staff, Assistance for travelling around the city and also pick and drop for the airport. Also, they kind a manage to pay the taxi as i was not having local currency and they exchanged the money at the standard rate. On request they did provided the kind of omelette we needed for our breakfast and that was such a kind and helpful assistance from them.

Room was quite small and with an infant kid it becomes quite messy. Also, The Air Conditioner was auto selected with the central air conditioning, which didn’t allowed us to manage and control the temperature. We had to open the windows for fresh air circulation and cold air.

The hotel is in a small road, once you step inside it's like a bizarre time-trip. There's a Mona Lisa in the elevator, egyptian hieroglyphs, greek statues and so on. It's an Orient Express themed pastiche, very funny. The room and bathroom were small but cozy and clean. The location while not glamorous is very convenient: I could explore the historical part of Izmir by feet and the train station is less than 5 minutes away. The staff is very helpful: I had an issue with my luggage after the flight and they handled communication with the airline for me. They also helped me set up a day-trip to Pergamon. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet is amazing. In 3 days I couldn't try all the available options.

Excellent location, right in the centre, 15 minutes walk to the sea and the beautiful promenade, 20 minutes walk to the huge bazaar, lots of bars and restaurants all around. Delicious breakfasts, lots of local fresh produce. The hotel transported me back in time, everything there is Orient Express style. Very clean rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly, they get everything done with a smile. I would very much like to return there again. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Hotel is located on one of the main streets leading to old harbor. Busy and noisy is the down side. Convenience is for sure. It's walking distance to old town bazaar, clock tower and old harbor. We got an upgraded room in the top floor with a small balcony. It's not as roomy but clean and with window closed, we could not hear noise from the busy street. We got a car. Hotel staff helped us with parking and that is very much appreciated as parking and driving on narrow streets and tight spots can be a challenge. Breakfast has lots of choice and adequate to our expectation.

Oglakcioglu park hotel is beautiful! We got the standard double room, and it was spacious enough for 2 people to comfortably stay for a few days. The breakfast is typical Turkish - bread, Turkish donut, lots of jams, cucumbers, variety of cheeses, olives, boiled eggs, sausage, and tea/coffee. It starts at 7am, which was nice on the day of our tour when the company picked us up at 7:30am. The hotel is also about 12-15 minutes walk from the pier, and you can enjoy a wonderful sunset there. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. We rented a car so that we could go to Pamukkale. Keep in mind that the hotel can only accommodate small cars, so don’t rent any large SUVs or vans, unless you can make other arrangements to park your car. We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel and will gladly stay here again.

It would be nice to have an early breakfast option, even just a small continental one, as a way to accommodate travelers leaving for early flights.

The hotel is beautiful. It deserves more stars than it has!! The lobby is old and has a lovely calming atmosphere. It has a fish tank and birds in a case for you to relax with. The breakfast area and food was amazing. Many choices for breakfast. It has a restaurant which has just opened and the lady there is wonderful and accommodating. The room was perfect. Lovely bedding nice air conditioner and quiet. I couldn't ask for a better hotel and the price is amazing. The location is walking distance to anything. I did 2 tours and the men at the front desk arranged it with hotel pickup and drop off. I highly recommend this hotel

Nothing. Everything is wonderful

The breakfast was just fine. I have stayed at other hotels with some more choices -- but this was still just fine. The location is very good. Close to the Kultur Park, the bazaar, lots of shops, currency exchange, restaurants, bus depot, the waterfront.

One of the outside seating areas had the strong smell of sewage. This may not have been the fault of the hotel. (One side of the seating area had no bad odor). The one complaint I did have was management's resistance to turning on the air conditioning. It's was 80F + but the management held back with the explanation that cooler weather was expected. I took this up with the on-site manager and later that afternoon when I returned, the a/c was on and a big improvement -- but it shouldn't have been necessary for me to complain in the first place. The interior of the hotel main floor is a bit dated. However, the guest rooms are completely modernized and I was very comfortable. Nice big shower!

The staff were rally friendly and helpful, organising to park our car using their carpark lift and taking us to our rooms (we were two couples). The rooms were a good size and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The staff recommended somewhere to eat for lunch, which was delicious and good value. We liked the location in the middle of Izmir. The breakfast was a large buffet, with an excellent selection. Overall, we were really happy with this hotel and would definitely stay again.

the hotel by itself was very nice, clean and cozy. staff were really kind and helpful. breakfast was very good specially in the COVID situation.

the only problem is about the location of hotel. outside of the hotel doesn’t seem safe specifically after midnight. it is absolutely ok if you don’t aim to spend night time in Izmir
