The New Hotel Zeybek

The location is spot on and great for shopping and tourist activities. You can be in the centre of the huge market in minutes. The staff are superb! EMRAH and MEHMET helped us greatly and made us extremely welcome. I have looked at other hotels in the area that cost double and don't have the same quality or welcoming feel. I can't wait to come back to Izmir and I will definitely be staying at The New Hotel Zeybek. It is rated 3 Stars but I would say it's definitely 4 Stars. There is also a brilliant traditional Barber opposite that I had a haircut and wet shave with extra grooming for £6 (I usually pay £25) Thank you to all the staff!! Mike

Currently building a nice new complex next door but this will only add value to the hotel in the long run.

During our stay at New Zeybek hotel, we were genuinely impressed by his exceptional hospitality and dedication to ensuring our experience was memorable. Mehmet's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like cherished guests from the moment we arrived. His attention to detail was impeccable; our room was immaculate, and every request was promptly fulfilled. Great hotel with great facilities, right in the heart of Izmir! The location is convenient, within walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. Great breakfast service in the morning and amazing staff! Many thanks to MertAli and Mehmet for their kindness during our stay and a BIG thank you to Emrah, who was a fantastic host to us- he always checked in with us, helped us with any questions we had, and helped organise a private day tour, which he spent the day driving us to important historic sights. Thanks for gave erlier the room after long time my flight. Clean room. Nice district with explore all center walk with cheap restaurant.

Breakfast must put halvas we are turkiye and normal juice this syrop. 2.much sugar. .. . The prep. Food must put buffe for stay hot. First day the. Man for breakfast it was polite because he want speek me for I will give good review but must work hard for that. And second second day he don't say nothing. From breakfast I like only aubergine it was nice some Cheece bureck. The eggs scramble not hot.the tv litle Difficult. Day day check out booking write 13.00 and 12.30 ring my door for I staff say speek with reception.Reception she don't gave answer after I sayed write 13.00 clock

Location was very good, 5mins walk from the train station, perfect for a solo traveller arriving at night. Great as a base to explore Ephesus and Pammukkale which is reachable by train. Also walkable to Izmir's point of interests.

Room's window opens to a central open area that's possible to be broken into by climbing on aircon ledges. And the window doesnt have locks so i was afraid someone would come in the middle of the night (im solo), but nothing happened! I informed reception i do not want cleaning (there wasnt a working safe) but cleaning lady still came in.

The location of the hotel was fantastic! All the important sights are very close. The Wi-Fi connection was decent. The room also comes with a kettle and fridge, so you can store snacks and enjoy a cup of tea in your free time. And the breakfasts are really good too.

There seems to be a ventilation issue in the bathroom: the smell of cigarettes lingers throughout the day. I believe it was coming not from the hotel, but from outside.

The location of the hotel is good. On a side street off main road but close to transport links and close to old town. My room was very clean and air con was included. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Bathroom could be updated but it served its purpose. Water was hot and towels clean. I didn’t really like the breakfasts….. more geared up to Turkish guests but that’s understandable. There seemed a good range just not to my taste.

Very convenient location, close to the train station, taxis, buses, and the main attractions of the city. Excellent, helpful staff, they helped with all questions. Special thanks to the hotel managers Mehmet and Emra for their help with purchasing tickets. Delicious breakfast, good room equipment, comfortable bed.

On the outside wall of our room there was a shaft with air conditioners that were noisy.

The hotel is located at a good location near public transportation and metro station. Muhamat at the reception was very helpful and responded quickly for our requests without any hesitation. The Breakfast vas very good and with a good variety of options. The AC is good and powerful at first time it takes about 20 minutes to cool the room.

The downside of the hotel the rooms are a bit small but still there is enough place to put the luggage and other stuff.

Very polite and helpful staff at the hotel. The receptionist upon my arrival (Melissa) was quite pleasant and patient with my check-in. The breakfast is simple but nice. The breakfast area is cosy and makes for a nice breakfast experience. The room was cleaned everyday. The bed was comfortable, the AC and WiFi functioned well with no issues. The location of the hotel is good, as it is very close to main attractions by foot such as the pier, the clock tower, some of the museums etc.

The room is quite small, and even for one person it felt compact. I asked for an extra blanket as it got cold one night, but they seemed to have run out of blankets. While the location is good during the day, the surrounding areas can feel a bit unsafe at night if you walk alone. No room service facility for lunch and dinner, however there is a minibar with snacks and drinks.
