Econo Lodge Tucumcari Route 66 - I-40

The breakfast of the hotel was very good and the location was a nice and quiet area. I enjoyed the stay, felt like home and the staff was very sweet. Room was clean, everything worked, nothing was broken.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. Over all it was a nice and easy stay. The price was reasonable and no out of the ordinary occurrances happened

My party loved the biscuits and gravy that were included in the free breakfast. The room was large enough to comfortably sleep our party. It was hotter than all get out outside, but the room stayed comfortable all night long. There was no noise from anywhere that we could hear.

The only drawback was that the hotel was in a bit of a desolate area. However, you can't blame the property for the fact that other businesses in the surrounding area could not stay in business.

Very friendly staff. I accidentally left my refrigerated medicine and didn’t realize it until that evening. I called and they said they had it and would keep it refrigerated until we could return, which was 10 days later. When we arrived they had it in the refrigerator. Kudos for great customer service. The breakfast was great also.

This Econo Lodge was a little ways from the Historic parts of town so I wouldn't say it is easy "walking distance" The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were only just traveling through. We arrived late at night and left pretty early in the morning. It met our needs, expectations, and the accommodations were comfortable and pretty "roomy" too.

Most basic needs met. Hotel has more heart than other places I stayed over my road trip. The attendant cleaning the lobby area and rooms was a total sweetheart.

Not much too hate on: It’s not fancy and the price was super chill. Perfect for a solo traveler just looking to hang there hat for the night and hightail it in the AM. I’ll be back for sure.

The manager/owner was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Storms went through and took out the power from 8 pm to at least when we left at 6 am. There was orange juice and muffins ready for us. The town was in the dark!

We missed having coffee in the morning; not possible with no power.

Very friendly staff and great customer service. Hot breakfast. Clean room. Quite. Nice size room. There is plenty of hot water. Clean towels. There is plenty of lighting.

Remodeling the hotel, but that was not an issue since our room was very comfortable and clean.

The location is good for travelers. It’s far enough from the main roads to get some decent sleep, but has easy access to get back on the freeway. The staff is pleasant. The room isn’t memorable in a good or bad way.

Breakfast is bare bones but good enough to tide you over first thing in the morning.

The bed was a little stiff. The freezer in the refrigerator really needed to be defrosted. There was a beeping sound in the hall( smoke alarm?) out side of our room. Also the back door out to the parking lot didn’t work very well.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Desk person was very friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendation for a sit-down restaurant down the street which was Del's and was awesome!

The toilet is so low to the floor that when you are sitting on it, your knees are practically up to your chin. Very difficult for senior citizens.
