I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism welcomed by beautiful MIRA she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a well-equipped gym and a fantastic onsite restaurant. I highly recommend the Sofitel if you're looking for a truly luxurious experience.

reception does not have international card machine My Mauritius credit card did not work in your card machine and thus i had to remove money daily on the ATM to pay hotel in cash. My Daily limit of cash removal was 20,000 only. For each withdrawal i was charged a fees on the cash machine.

Gym equipment and staff great, always enjoy to come back here for exercize.👍🏻 Spa also 5*, interiour design and staff are excellent, though the prices are a little bit to high, but will come back again for sure. Lounge on 31' floor so nice, enjoyed working there evrry day while zipping on a yummy mocktail, enjoying yummy Thai and international food. Staff 100% professional, well trained, charming and funny too. Happy to see you again khun GIFT 😊

Dear Sirs, may I suggest, when your staff bring 'welcome fruit platter' to my room, please bring some Thai fruit like watermelon, pineapple, mango (Durian - aroi mak, but not hom 555). When foreign guest come to Thailand, they are happy to enjoy local food and fruit. If you bring apple, banana, pear...this is boring, everybody know from home country. 😃 So please change and share delicious Thai fruit when welcoming your guests. Khob khun krub.

Amazing hotel and service provided from start to end. Upon check in, Mira, gave some suggestions on where to visit, what to eat and where to sight see around Bangkok and the hotel. She then showed me to my room and explained everything in the room. Thank you Mira for the great suggestions and hospitality. The room is great with the most comfortable bed and extra pillows that you can order from the menu. Their turndown service is amazing as well, with a flower on the pillow and complimentary tea. Entertainment services are vast - Netflix, Bluetooth, YouTube, Prime which can be connected via the iPad in the room. The services provided in the hotel are amazing, the concierge team are always helpful and go above and beyond to help you out! From helping you with your luggage to flagging a cab for you. They always greet you which I find to be extremely welcoming and hospitable. Special thanks to Trai, Tony, Tui, Tee, Toto, Boy, Natty, Kiki and Kevin for the amazing service! 10/10 would recommend this hotel stay for anyone!

This is a grand hotel which draws me back time and time again. I am always impressed by the comforts of my room. Also , I’m very impressed by all of your staff who make me feel very welcome every time. My breakfast experience was always exceptional with all staff meeting me with smiling faces, Bambi once again was a stand out. Thank you Sofitel.

it’s an iconic Sofitel must admit this one is little older then I expected, but staff gave me a great room with views pool is friendly staff helpful speak perfect English except cleaner or engineering etc. location is in midst of bars clubs really lovely home feeling with hotel accepting its guests like own to look after bathroom was very nice bath tub bed exceptionally comfortable. elegant classy feeling no dodgy guests class.

I love the bathroom, room bed views are so beautiful pool cosy, gym is nice breakfast room pleasant areas on different levels have facilities for hair nails or they will guide you where to do it. just had pleasant experience acor members enjoy complimentary drinks food 5-7pm on some level very classy. definitely recommended experience just expect rooms are not as new but well equipped conveniently

Staff were friendly, personable and helpful. The gym is excellent for a hotel gym, and the 23m pool great for laps. Location is fantastic, close to everything and anything you could need. Breakfast was awesome, and the room service menu was great. Modern technology in the room with all controls on an iPad.

You need to have a dress code for the Sky Resturant, as my GF and I were dressed for the occasion, but others were arriving in shorts and T shirts. Maybe a dress code for once the sun goes down.

- The breakfast is just amazing, by far the best I've had in a hotel and I've tried a lot of 5 stars in the city. A large amount of both western and asian foods in the buffet section. Good bread, cheese and pasrties. The egg station is really nice too, you can also order your egg dishes from your table (try the egg benedict) - Bed was the most confortable I've ever slept in - The club lounge is great, the food is good and there are lots of confortable seating options to relax - The staff are all smiles and will do everything they can for you - Complimentary pressing comes in very handy - Location is a big plus, it's very central and the hotel has it's own bridge to get to the sky train so no walking on the sidewalk for you - The hotel itself is well designed and decorated

The electronics need to be updated. The TV is old so no smart apps, the bose sound system just did not work at all in my room, the only way to connect your computer to the TV also did not work and if you need good wifi this is not it (well it could be but you have to pay extra for better speeds) it's just good enough to browse the internet and watch videos in low to standard resolution. For some reason there is a huge lack of outlets to plug your chargers in, none at all near the bed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the moment we checked in, untill check out and even after check out. We made use of the swimming pool were they bring you water to keep you hydrated. The Belga restaurant is also amazing! Great thanks to all the staff to give us an experience like this, from needing help finding transportation, to nice presents when you enter the room after a day exploring Bangkok.

Only one thing that wasn't as it was supposed to be, when booking the hotel we found difficulty contacting the hotel, especially for the test&go program. But i can imagine all the emails and phone calls Sofitel is getting regarding bookings.
