Was upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was nice. Clean, tidy and plenty of sockets (USB C!). All staff very friendly and professional without exception. I opted for breakfast and dinner included, which I highly recommend. Great options for both, with chefs making fresh produce throughout the service. Location very convenient for the mall and other tourist spots. A diverse cliental with multi nationality, couples/family's and business/pleasure, which gave a very inclusive feel. Always enjoy Swissotel's, and wont hesitate in returning to this one!

A traveller FYI and tip. If you travel by public transport, as I did. Rather than walk from the mall metro, through the mall, then crossing the road (which can be extremely confusing for first time visitors to Dubai, walk from emirates towers metro station. This is a similar route, and you can walk through DIFC if you need an AC break, taking the same amount of time.

Comfortable clean rooms, decent pool, although would be nice to include usage for the other pool shown in photos (for the apartments). Hotel is well located for the Dubai Mall but a shuttle would be helpful in the heat of the day (apparently, they run one in the summer only), there is an odd layout to the hotel, you go to the basement, through the gym and up 3 flights of stairs to get to the pool, or have to walk through the restaurant otherwise. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel bit probably wouldn't go back.

The breakfast buffet was lackluster, not the worst but could be a lot better. The hotel would benefit from better catering for allergies/dietary requirements with improved labelling on food etc On the whole the staff were good (in particular the reception team were excellent) however some of the restaurant and bar staff seemed slightly disinterested or incompetent. .

We only had one meal, which was by the pool, and it was excellent. A large pizza and a Greek salad. The pool was nice and the gardens very nice, with a few birds and flowers. Our room was lovely and staff very helpful. We could store bags before check in and concierge booked a taxi for us. We walked to Dubai mall, which was only 7.minutes away. Would return!

I like the location of this hotel and that’s the reason I extended my stay for one more night. It’s a walking distance to Dubai Mall, a Fashion avenue side of the Dubai mall which is more pleasant than other entrances. The staff are exceptional! Duty manager is a very sensible person who understood my needs and helped to resolve the issue. The apartments are very good size. Plenty of room for family with children.

The apartments are in need of repairs. This comment is in relation to the apartments, not the hotel. I understand that apartments (executive suites) in the hotel and very much looked after and updated. The larger swimming pool area that used to belong to the hotel is now restricted to hotel guests and only for local residents. That was a huge disappointment to learn that rules changed some three months ago. I was turned down on the door and sent back to the hotel swimming pool, which is a smaller pool next to hotel building.

i liked the location, comfort of the place. Ease of check in and check out. the staff were very welcoming and ready to assist. i liked how even during the peak hours they were able to be courteous and helpfull. The room service was quick. i ordered twice on different days and the food was delivered within the promissed time and very tasty aswell.

The check in and check out could be faster than it it. I had paid a cash deposit instead of blocking my credit card. Seemed on that day they were out of cash and there was a bit of a struggle to sort it out. they did eventually. The area outside the window could be cleaned.

The location is one of the best in Dubai. Cozy lovely hotel. Nostalgic atompshere. The staff is professional and very friendly. Especially Karuena Khem Badul Salim, and Lokendre. This is our secnd stay and the facility is getting much better than last year.
