The staff are very friendly and accommodating; this was our 2nd stay. The bed itself is comfortable (although not the pillows, see below) and the room a good size. It is quiet overnight. The proximity to good value meals in the bar downstairs. The room is supplied with good amount and variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. On arrival we were able to check in 3 hours early, which was very appreciated as we had just come from a long flight.

The shower head slider was broken so we could not have it above our head. The room clearly hadn't been hoovered or dusted; however, this may have been the result of us checking in so early, so we were OK with it. There was only one pillow each and they were very hard and uncomfortable. The next day we asked for two soft pillows to be added, they added one soft and another hard. Suggestion: provide 2 pillows per person, one hard one soft. This makes for a much more comfortable bed.

room lovely and clean and smelt good, air con helpful, view over the park was good, staff were friendly and served you quickly at the bar, never had to queue once, i wish all wethies were like this, Many thanks Terry and Deb

fire door on stairs needs adjusting badly as door bangs loudly, some butt heads were up at 3 and four Sunday morning and woke us both up twice with this door banging, the closer needs adjusting, breakfast on Sunday morning was luke warm and had to go to the loo after it, something was off, Saturdays was hot and we were both fine

Great location, friendly helpful personnel, big comfortable room. It is clean in the room, nice Nordic style. I was impressed with a very good sound insulation - in the room it’s magically quiet. Even though on the ground floor there is a really lively restaurant, you don’t hear any sound in the room. This pleasantly impressed me. The street is also quiet, a big parking lot not far from hotel. I also loved that there is an ironing board and iron in the room, so it’s easy to prepare clothes. Also a good thing about room - a spacious clean modern shower, with tropical rain shower and really hot water, bath if needed is also available. For breakfast - just to go downstairs. Nice garden for warm weather dining or drinking.

Good size room with very comfy bed. Hot walk in shower. Lots tea, coffee, milk, even vegan milk. Nice view from room. Very quiet over night. Staff friendly. Good food delivered to the room by staff, even though room service was not really available. Everything in room that you could need. For the price was very good, value for money.

Could have used more soft pillows, only one soft available. The stairs to get to the room were steep and difficult with cases, no lift. The room was not made up or cleaned or replenished between nights. We stayed 2 nights. We told the staff member in the morning and she was apologetic and said she would take it up with the 2 new members of house keeping, as it should have been done.

The telephone did not work, the toilet roll holder was lose. apart from that the staff were friendly and helpful and really wanted you to enjoy your stay with them. They were all very busy when I was there serving food. I understood seeing it as when I tried to ring them before I arrived no one answered. As they were too busy with food orders.

Just the Phone not working and the loo roll holder being loose. Obviously the building is next to a road so there is passing traffic most of it you don't here but there seem to be particularly loud excaust systems on some bike and cars these days

Very cean room, really good space, great bathroom. Friendly staff that answered all questions needed. Central to Aldershot and close to train station and buses. The Whetherspoons bar itself was fairly standard, but food was well cooked and quick.

Occasioanlly felt a little rushed with check in and check out, would have prefered the the bar adn eating area to be as clean as the room was.

good location for me, right opposite the Princes Hall Theatre. The bedroom was large and well furnished, clean, and with a comfy bed. The bathroom was exceptional, large and very modern with a walk in shower. My only negative thoughts were that my room was on the top floor, the access to the public toilets for the bar and restaurant were on the floor below, using the same narrow staircase. A lift to the bedrooms only would be a appreciated.

I had no idea that Wetherspoons also provided rooms in some of their establishments. The quality of the room far exceeded my preconceptions. Excellent shower, comfy bed, etc. It's priced to compete with the chain hotels but is much nicer. A bargain and I would definitely stay again.

There are a lot of stairs up the rooms. Fine for me, but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

My friend and I had a lovely stay in a cool (which was much needed!), clean, quiet room with all the facilities that we required and friendly helpful staff at reception. We were very impressed with how quiet the room was considering it's location on the corner of a busy road and the full bar below.

We both felt that we couldn't have asked for anything to be better.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful The hotel room was a good size and nicely decorated, with Iron, board and a hair dryer. There was even a bath mat rolled up under the sink to use in the shower. Despite it being the hottest two days of the year we had a great night's sleep in a comfy bed in our cool air-conditioned room.
