The staff were friendly and capable ,the room was tidy and the location was very good.Breakfast as in all similar hotels do not seem to keep the food as hot as I would like for those who do not come to breakfast early.The food was good and there was a lot of it.All in all we had a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to use it again.

The room might have been more thoroughly cleaned perhaps ,but it was not dirty. The bathroom sink could d with a new plug and the shower tended to drip.

We were met with a very warm welcome from Sam and the other staff. Breakfast was very good with buffet on the Friday and table service on the other two mornings. Sam made every effort to get our friends a more spacious room. Sam seemed to work everywhere... reception, bar, breakfast service. She arranged a taxi and even turned photographer when we were all ready for our sons wedding. The hotel is a typical old country house hotel, very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Being an old building some parts were a little tired. The handle on the door to our balcony was coming loose and the bathroom paint was getting a little flaky, but nothing to worry or complain about.

The breakfast was buffet style, help yourself, enabling me to select what I felt like rather than a set menu. A great selection of options. The dining room was spacious and airy, a fresh start to the day.

I requested a single room, and that’s what I had. Given the age of the hotel my room was a single room fitted into a period house. My only comment was the shower had a curtain rather than a door. This isn’t a dislike merely the only thing that didn’t make this booking an ideal stay.

The hotel did not serve food which we knew ahead of time, but on arrival they offered us a home made pie from a local supplier with a glass of wine thrown in which we ate in the lounge and enjoyed more drinks and a game of cards afterwards. The Hotel was an old converted country house, very quirky and interesting if a little tired in places. The staff were super.

Location is 5 miles out of Farnham in countryside, middle of nowhere but it did have extensive grounds for use in better weather. Breakfast was not offered but we enjoyed Cotes Brasserie in town.

Beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly (had a lovely chat with Samantha). There were a couple of issues (dirty cups in room/ cold water tap in bathroom not working but worked around that) but where they could the issue was resolved quickly and were not enough to cause any complaints. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.

The issue wasn't with the hotel it was getting there. We were aware that there was a dual carriage way but Google didn't show it doesn't have pedestrian access all the way (and a roundabout) so we had to use taxi's.

The room and facilities met our requirements, the only negative point we have, is that the mattress was too soft, it felt like you were sleeping on a marsh mellow bed, which is not supportive enough. Otherwise, the show was hot, and the bathroom was adequate, the size of the bedroom was adequate, the location was perfect for our visit, the staff were lovely, and breakfast was very nice. Thank you, we would stay again if we were in the area.

Mattress was too soft.

confusion about the bar closing time, informed by reception on arrival that bar is open all hours only to be told initially that it closed at midnight - there were 11 of us returning from a wedding and asking if we could have a drink, initially he said no then agreed to serve us - however other guests had already gone to bed who arrived back before us.

The room is more suited to one person, but can fit in two. You can hear the water in the pipes when someone uses the water in the next room. Bed was comfortable (just a little small) Staff were friendly. Felt safe Would come back if staying in the area again. It's useful when you mainly need a place to stay for the night, not necessarily spend hours in the room.

Bed was small and there was a few noises from the water in the pipes.

We had a really pleasant stay in this lovely historical building. The room was really clean, quiet and comfortable. The spa bath was a nice treat and the shower had good water pressure. We don't think they normally do evening meals but they had an outside caterer doing a lovely pie and mash menu. It was a really nice meal, at a good price, which saved us having to go out to find food. Breakfast was fine, a selection of Cereal, toast, fruit juices and a cooked breakfast laid out in a buffet style. Friendly staff. Overall a lovely stay.

The room I initially had seemed good and what I was expecting but there were a number of bees outside the window on a very hot day. When I informed reception they switched my room with no hassle. Nicole was very helpful the entire stay and even offered to provide a plate and cutlery for the food I ordered in.

The bees outside my room, though again, the whole thing was handled very well and it seemed as though the hotel staff were fixing that once made aware.
