The food was absolutely fantastic (like really really delicious - asked for tartare sauce to go with my fish and chips which they had but hadn’t offered. The fish was huge and super tasty. Our other meals were great too as were the deserts. Variety of ‘exotic’ ice creams - I had rhubarb and ginger. Breakfast was great too - ordered off a menu. The room was clean, spacious with ample beds as in the details in the property description. The room was easy access on the ground floor. The area was quiet. Super close to Holy Island which we hadn’t realised.

Check in is late (4:30!) I had been driving for 4 hours to get there and was told at 4:22 it was locked up as I was too early. I’ve not heard of such a late check in before. But apart from that all was fantastic.

Excellent support from staff when one member of party fell ill. Couldn't have done more for us. Greatly appreciated.

You can't possibly get a beter price/quality ratio in this area! We travel with 3 people and our little dog Teddy, and we got room nr. 6, incredibly wide, comfortable and well equipped (4-star hotel level). The people at The White Swan Inn and friendly and genuinelly willing to help you and your pet. Food was also great and for a very, very reasonable price. We had dinner at the pub, and classic English breakfast. Both were spot on! Plenty of space for free parking, walking with the dog, a picnic area behind the inn, and the nice surroundings made our short stay (just one night) very enjoyable.

Breakfast was served only from 8:00 to 9:30, but hey: it's an inn, not a big hotel, so no problem at all! Lowick is a very small village, meaning there is not so incredibly much to do or to see, but you are very well located to visit the rest of the region.

This is a no frills location with a nice room to sleep in and a well cooked filling breakfast. We had an evening meal. Again a no frills restaurant with decent service and wholesome meal.

We were a little worried that the ground floor room may be a little noisy sitting beside the pub entrance and car park but it was a quiet evening with no issues. The shower temperature was a little difficult to regulate and reported this so it may be fixed? There’s a communal entrance door that’s hall and stairs led to our room and others from the car park. Didn’t like that this couldn’t be locked.

The property was ideal for us. Our own front door yet within the grounds of the pub. The accommodation was very spacious and the owners had thought of everything you might need for your stay. We arrived around 4 but the pub was closed until 4.30 - there is no early check in but that does say on the website etc. The staff are lovely and friendly they made us feel like they have known us for years. Food was good and well organised for the breakfast rush. The pub is used by the locals in the village and we were made to feel part of that. We had an amazing time and definitely be back very soon!

There is nothing to dislike.

Very friendly and welcoming to myself and my dog. Super staff. Nothing too much trouble. Loved the direct outside access to rooms. Made it very easy with a dog. Loverly warm and comfortable room. Within easy distance for visiting the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, beaches and other attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing not to like. Would have preferred a bath rather than just a shower. Unfortunately room with bath not available for my stay.

The White Swan is a lovely pub in a pretty village, just 15 minutes from Berwick. We had a great welcome and everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was big and spacious, spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. The en-suite was also spacious with a powerful shower. We had drinks in the bar by the cosy fire, the dining room looks like it's newly decorated and the photos don't do it justice. We had a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. The whole stay was great value for money, we wished we could have stayed longer and would choose to stay here again when we're next in the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in ferrying us from and back to the pilgrim path. The room was large & well-appointed. The breakfast was excellent.

Although the room was well-appointed the overall building was not especially smart. Although the content of the steak & Guinness pie was good, it was a shame that ill-fitting flaky pastry had been used instead of proper pastry. Overall at £119 for a twin room, booked 3 months in advance, it was a bit expensive for what it was.

Room was excellent, large with really comfortable bed. The food was absolutely perfect credit to the chef a large table and everything came out at the same time top marks.The bar manager was very professional and nothing was to much trouble a credit to the business.

We had a large table for a evening meal Waitress was very abrupt bordering on rude a real downside to a otherwise perfect evening.

Before my arrival I was asked if I would like to join a quiz team for the evening as I was travelling on my own with my dog it was a great evening, I really enjoyed myself. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all very helpful.
