The location was excellent and you could easily walk in to the town. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel had a very cosy atmosphere and there was an overall welcoming feeling. The room was comfortable and spacious. We had lunch there too which was well priced and very nice.

There is nothing we did not like and we would recommend this hotel. Just a few suggestions but certainly not critisism The bathroom needs a few hooks on the walls so you can hang things up. The bath needs a handle you can grab on to as its a bit difficult to manoevre out of as its a bit on the small side. Bottles of water would be nice as most hotels provide these as standard now.

Room had kettle teas/coffee selection and cookies which was greatly appreciated. We were attending a wedding so only had breakfast which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lift for anyone with mobility issues and a car park at the rear of the hotel

We did not realise the hotel locked up at a certain time and did not see that you had to ring a buzzer to get in. The key card would not work but was quickly rectified when I went to reception

Comfortable, friendly and everyone here helpful. Breakfast was good, and plentiful. Happily managed Decaf tea and normal tea on the same table. Evening food also very plentiful, and good. Sufficiently good we ate there most evenings. Nice lounge/ bar area, with live music on Saturday evening - but pleasingly this was NOT audible when we returned to our room. One of those places that appears to be a local 'hub'. Parking is reasonable, at there back of the hotel, and they have charging for electric vehicles.

No towel rail, and room relatively small - but I only booked a standard room, so can't really complain.. :-) Ballymena possibly isn't the centre of tourism, being more of a shopping town.

The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. the hotel had a very friendly family-owned feel to it, which was a welcome change from my usual chain hotels. I loved the fact that my room was tidied every day, and the soaps and biscuits replaced if I'd used them. And the food was brilliant, and well worth the cost.

Nothing that I can think of.

The location is really central, staff were very friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean and spacious. Great value for money and we really enjoyed the breakfast that was included. We didn't have food at the restaurant but did use the bar which had a good selection of drinks.

My only criticism would be the noise, while not a very noisy hotel, you can hear pretty much everything as there is no soundproofing in the room and the cracks on the door meant the room always had some light even late at night - we didn't mind too much but this might be an issue for light sleepers so worth keeping in mind.

enjoyed breakfast, location was great easy to get to shops train st etc staff were friendly!

when we stayed in Jan the pavlova was amazing that's one of the reasons we came back! but this time the pavlova was just like eating wet egg white very little crispy meringue! the room we had was quite noisy all night as must have been beside a boiler room!

The very spacious room

Breakfast was disappointing, we were in the Dining Room for 9.05am - We were told to sit anywhere even though there was no table ready,. We had to ask for the table to be set. We also had to ask for glasses for the breakfast juices. There was no bacon, sausage, eggs or mushrooms ready and we were told we would have to wait. We were told it was because a Tour Group arrived at the same time for breakfast. We felt we were just pushed to.the side........

Breakfast was lovely, plenty selection and good quality. Also the food served for evening meals was fantastic. Good quality food and large portions. All staff were very helpful and friendly, a requested room change was no trouble. Good location.

I found the beds too soft and uncomfortable so never slept well and was woken by people talking could in what seemed to be either the next room or directly below us. The bar prices were also quite excessive. Over £14 for a glass of wine and a pint of beer!!

The room was fantastic. The food was also great. The staff were very attentive.

The hotel knew there was a fault with the shower in our room, but still put us in that room, where we both had cold showers the first and last mornings. I don't expect that when paying over £136 per night.

Staff are always friendly and can’t do enough for you The food in the restaurant is amazing - I’ve never had a bad meal there.

The only down side was the room and bathroom were very hot. We had to keep the windows open - even in November. The shower was hard to get to temperature.
