We had drinks at the bar and an evening meal. We assume that the evening meal was a bought in package but it was still very enjoyable. The staff were all very pleasant. We walked into Birmingham centre which was a long walk but we did not mind as we expected that but other people may find it long but we think the price reflects the location. Parking was easy and although it is easy to park free on the street but we wanted a more secure area.

Nothing really although whilst it was not noisy the rooms are not soundproofed. This was not an issue for us but if there were more roudy guests it could be. Not the hotels issue though. It was over half an hour to walk to Birmingham new street at a good pace - again not the hotels issue but just trying to be informative.

Stayed for a night on Saturday 15th March and overall myself and my Dad enjoyed our stay. It has everything you need for a comfy stay such as tidy bedding (housekeeping can be requested if stays more than a night) good appropriate toiletries, lovely shower, fresh towels, free coffee/kettle within room, free WiFi, and 24 hour access (security later on so make sure to have your room key if leaving the site but no troubles whatsoever on return) The bar area also serves from 15:00pm I believe, in which there’s a good selection of soft drinks/alcohol/wine. We only stayed the night due to being in the area for a concert but we have decided we will stay again most definitely ! Also during check in, there was a very friendly at the desk who recommended a great place for a bite to eat and we can’t thank her enough. Sorry I didn’t catch a name but she was very pleasant so thankyou!

Only issue I had personally myself was the pillow was a little hard but that’s just me being picky, it’s each to their own, overall great place in a great location :)

The staff was amazing, we received a good room, a little bit bigger than I expected (we expected a very small room actually, but I received an upgrade). Mattress and pillow were great, clean fresh towels were provided, in the bathroom you can find some hygienic kits (toothbrush and toothpaste), and soap dispenser for the sink and for the shower as well. Also we had a hair dryer in the room (not in the bathroom, a little bit strange, but worked just fine as was placed in front of the mirror). A few extras were in the room as (tea bags, a kettle, 2 bottles of water) on the house or to be used. The heating was provided by an electrical radiator which managed the -4 C from outside. You can find in the hotel lobby some society games, a football table, a big bar where they serve beer, cocktails, and some food (open till 22:00), and also they have broadcast for PL matches in the lobby. It's a great place to stay for an Aston Villa match on Villa Park (about 25 minutes on foot to the stadium), otherwise, the location is a little bit boring (near the highway entrance, near a very busy area with tons of cars) , nothing to do, about 30 minutes on foot to the city center (or 25 minutes with the 65, 67, x64 bus from the station near to the hotel).

The twin beds were a little bit too instable and flimsy, as they moved and made awful sounds at every move in the bed - but the mattress and pillow were great so the overall experience of the sleep was good. In the bathroom there are no places to hang the towel, or a toiletry bag, so bring your own method if needed (I had a heroclip and worked just fine), but wouldn't mind some hangers at least on the bathroom door.

Everything! Convenient location. Very modern and clean. Bar and restaurant also convenient and great! Staff are amazing, polite and friendly.

Nothing. May sound contradictory but there was one incident that made me mark down on staff. My partner asked if we could buy drink from the bar and take it to the room. The evening receptionist responded “yes please”. My partner thought that was strange and mentioned it to me but we ignored it. Anyway went to bar I carried the drinks and on the way to the lift, the receptionist said she thought the drink was for her. While she was working??? Also we felt this was inappropriate. But that was 1 person. Everyone else was very professional and friendly.

property was clean, good value for money and reception stag was very helpful with checking in and keeping my dinner for me that was delivered by ubereat

i left my expensive face wash at the hotel, called back the next day expecting to be told it was found and thrown out or it was found and left for me at the reception- called reception back and i was told housekeeping didn't find it but i'm sure i left it there it was only about 5-6 hrs after i checked out i realised it was missing. so either housekeeping didn't clean the bathroom and didn't see it which i'm hoping is not the case or house keeping threw it out. either ways not happy i couldn't have it back

The hotel was very centrally located for our needs. Our room and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff here were wonderful... we were attending a funeral and they couldn't do enough for us. We arrived to meet family at around 10am in the morning and although breakfast had officially finished, they kept the restaurant open for us and didn't clear anything away until after 11am when we had finished. We also had a young child in our family part y and they made separate food and snacks for him - absolutely nothing was too much trouble! ALL the restaurant / bar staff were BRILLIANT!

All staff was really friendly. Lovely and clean. Great food. The breakfast waitress was amazing! Very attentarive.

We heard every guest leaving or entering the floor. The first night, it wasn't too bad, but they didn't seem that busy in the hotel. The second night was an awful sleep with other guests up and down the corridor giggling, shouting and slamming doors.. The only real negative about inside the room was the very large bulky light on the wall right beside the bed....if you weren't careful, you bang your head on it. It's just too close to the bed.

Very close to center, staff were always pleasant during interactions. Although parking isn't free its relatively cheap in comparison with plenty of spaces. Clean & spacious. Little shop type area with drinks, snacks, pot noodles, manicure set and condoms etc all reasonably priced again in comparison to other places. Also there is a bar open until 11pm. £50 for a night so all in all I'm happy with my stay

The coffee in the room is pretty bad, my coffee loving partner couldn't even get 3 mouthfuls down for chucking it down the sink. But we always carry spares so wasn't too much of an issue

When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Sam who looked after us the whole weekend anything we asked her she was more than happy to help (teabags 🙈). Joel at the bar was also great!! Very attentive and again nothing was too much trouble. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was so good, great selection and you could eat as much as you liked. Everything was freshly cooked and well-stocked!!! The girl who was working in the morning had the place spotless. (sorry I didn't get her name). We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room had a few scuff marks on the bathroom door. I would recommend fitting a USB-C connection on the wall as we had forgotten our iPhone plug but reception were able to charge our phones until we bought a plug. I had read in previous reviews when I was looking at this hotel that the lift was broken and it was still broken during our stay. We didn't mind but it would be tough if you were on a higher floor and had heavy suitcases. We were on level 3.

I like how clean the campanile is and how close it is too everywhere! I come to Birmingham regularly and I always stay here because I love it. And I love Sam she is the most kindest beautiful woman I’ve ever come across In a hotel. Me and my friend actually come to stay to see Sam because she is very helpful and makes our stay the best!!! We love u Sam xx

The beds have got a little uncomfortable and the pillows seem to have got smaller and flatter. It wasn’t very comfortable this time round. So maybe look into upgrading the beds
