The location was beautiful and restful It was close to Braunton town and easy to access the nearby Saunton Sands and not far from Woolacombe The Gallery Lodge we stayed in was outstanding So modern and immaculate Everything you could need was there and the furnishings were amazing The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were beautifully designed The paintings adorning the walls were the work of the host Pete Caswell and were incredible We will return to the lodges as soon as we can

Nothing could have been better but it would be nice if there could be a mirror near an electric power point for hair dryer

Great location for us playing a few golf clubs in the area. Everything you needed to self cater and even put milk in the fridge and a few essentials like tea/coffee but had brought our own. Small dishwasher and some great art on the walls gave it life and a theme if ski lodge. Parking outside the place and very quiet and peaceful. Didn't use a lot of the amenities but they've thought of lots like BBQ. Bike shed. Sun shone and a drink on the patio area which had table and chairs was very pleasant. Lounge area very comfortable to sit and relax. 15 walk into Broughton with good selection of places for breakfast and evening meals.

The bed was two singles to make very large double which was great but was too hard for me, which is a personal thing but a topper would have helped. The shower was a great set up but no real strength to the output but always plenty of hot water. A few cobwebs about which you get in the country have the same at home and I can remove and back within hours.

Exceptionally beautiful lodge with everything you could want. We could’ve turned up with just a suitcase. Fully equipped kitchen with hob and microwave; even had a Tupperware box. There was also a good selection of local area books and walking/cycling maps. After a long day cycling the Tarka Trail we enjoyed the peace of the surroundings whilst drinking wine on the verandah and enjoying the rustle of the grass and eucalyptus trees. Braunton is small but quite lively for its size. It has some good cafes and restaurants with a good range of independent shops and about 4 well stocked water sports shops. Peter and Julie were there if we needed them but generally left us alone to enjoy the lodge. I think it’s one of the most lovely places I’ve ever stayed and we’d love to come back.

Absolutely nothing. Oh well maybe the internet was a bit slow now and again but was ok for our holiday needs.

Peaceful and secluded location, but within walking distance to local shops, beach and Braunton Burrows. Pete was welcoming and friendly and gave some great suggestions for local places to visit. There was a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, lovely finishing touches throughout, with a comfortable sofa and bed and outside seating on the sun drenched decking. I have already booked my second stay.

I didn't like leaving, it was perfect.

Great quiet location, the lodges are very nice and very comfy, the bed is great and all the rooms are a good size Pete is a great guy and very hospitable who will help with anything

Nothing at all it would be great if it was dog friendly but that’s just because we take our dog everywhere but that’s not a complaint at all

Loved everything about this lodge. Peaceful, adults only retreat. Every tiny detail has been considered here by the lovely friendly owners. The most spotless place I think I have ever stayed! Super comfy bed and great location. Highly recommended

There was nothing we didn’t like!

What a lovely location. Peaceful, scenic & secluded. But all amenities are just up the road. Choice of lovely beaches within 5-30 minutes drive. The lodge was lovely, comfortable & clean. Great deck to enjoy the sun, a cool drink & bbq. Pete & Julie are wonderful hosts.

Stunning countryside location only 5 mins from beautiful Saunton sands beach and 5 mins the other way Braunton - a lovely little town with great shops and stunning eart in chip shop/ fish restaurant

Great location, easy drive to nearby locations and also peaceful. Bed was very comfy and the deck was great to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening!
