Due to our love of hiking and the great outdoors, my partner and myself are very lucky to say we stay in our fair share of B&Bs. Camden Lodge without a doubt is the best property we've stayed in. It is situated within walking distance of Brecon town and within easy access of the Brecon Beacons. Perfect! As for the property itself, it is absolutely faultless with plenty of space and beautifully presented. I must also mention that the breakfast was amazing and plenty of it. This will definitely be our 'go to' for future stays in Brecon. Thank you x

Nothing to improve whatsoever.

We had a nice warm welcome on arrival and shown to our room. The view from the room was stunning. Bed was very big and comfortable. There was plenty of tea/coffee/bottled water in the room, with plenty more spares on the landing. It was lovely having fresh milk and a fridge. The decor of the room was lovely and modern and so was the bathroom with a large shower and beautiful toiletries. The breakfast had the normal selection of cereals, juice, fresh fruit and yoghurt and also a menu with a lovely selection of hot food with cafetiere coffee. You can see the whole place has recently been renovated to a very high standard and was very clean. There is also parking on site.

There was nothing I didn't like.

A lovely warm welcome from Elaine. Delicious breakfast with a good choice of food - cereals, juice, fruit salad and cooked breakfast of whatever you liked. Toast and a variety of jams and toppings and the portions were very generous. We stayed in the mountain view double room and it was beautiful. So spacious and the bed was very big and very comfortable. The tv has a good selection of channels and there was tea and coffee in the room with fresh milk and bottles of water available and a small fridge. A very good base to explore Brecon and the surrounding areas.

I didn’t dislike anything, i would recommend it. The only thing I would say is that this b&b feels more like a very small scale modern hotel and doesn’t have quirky charm - it’s restful, neutrally furnished with discreet well organised hosts who leave you in peace and don’t enquire about your plans or ask how your day was.

The breakfast was very good and served up very quickly after ordering. The young lady taking the orders was very attentive and polite. There are very nice view from the dining area over the gardens of the property.

I would have liked to have had more interaction with the owners. We were greeted by the owner on arrival and shown to our room, but that was the last we saw of them. I think it would be nice to have a conversation with the owners especially regarding local places to visit and places to eat.

Camden Lodge is beautiful and very clean . The bedroom was so big and the view of Breccon Breccon was stunning from our huge window. Easy to walk into town for food, shops and canal. Lyn and his lovely wife made us feel very welcome and everything was just outside our room if we needed anything extra plus we could ring them if we needed help. They were very friendly and funny and we started our day with a very big tasty breakfast. If we are in this area again we will definately stay at Camden Lodge again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Spotless and very comfortable. Very close to Brecon town centre. Room had all facilities and beautiful view necessary for a lovely stay, and was so quiet and peaceful. Very much appreciated extra bottled water on landing. Delicious breakfast with excellent hot choices and fresh fruit/juices. Lovely pleasant service at breakfast time.

The property was absolutely immaculate, it was close to town and the views were stunning. I also liked that you could turn off the radiator and the windows were tilt and turn so you could get plenty of fresh air which is a really great change from most places I’ve stayed at where you can’t even open the windows! The food was perfect, accommodating my gluten free diet as well and the service was excellent. Lynne and his wife have done an amazing job and we thoroughly recommend staying with them.

We were given a really lovely welcome by Elaine. Camden Lodge is a show piece for a b&b. It is shear perfection. Don’t look any further if you want a b&b in Brecon. It was spotless. The views from the breakfast room and our bedroom were stunning. Llyn cooked one of the best breakfasts we have eaten anywhere. Also there was fresh fruit salad, fruit juice and cereals to which you could help yourself. Elaine and Llyn must be very proud to run a b&b of this quality.
