From the beginning of our stay we were met with a warm welcome. The hosts were so helpful with everything, from food recommendations to hiking routes and other local knowledge. The breakfast was cooked to order with very generous helpings. I especially enjoyed the spinach, cheese and tomato omelette. The room was very clean as well as the en suite and we had views of the mountains from our room. The location is fantastic, with views of the Brecon beacons from the well kept front lawn and only 13 mins drive from Brecon. We are still beaming from our stay 😁 Hope to see you guys again soon, thank you so much! Sincerely, Nathan and Paige

A very friendly welcome always makes a difference on your arrival and Steve and Bronwyn where very much that and throughout our stay they were very attentive, unfortunately we were unable to arrive on the date we arranged but while we were there they offered us an extra nights stay as the room was available so we didn't miss out which was great 😁 the view from our room was amazing

I can honestly say I could not find any faults the B&B was very clean anything we needed was no trouble for them both the cooked breakfast was a treat my only regret was that we didn't stay longer but would defiantly go back

Steve & Brownyn are perfect hosts, the property is lovely, breakfast amazing, and easy parking. The drying room is a real bonus for anyone doing big hikes or runs! The location is perfect, the property has great views & easy access to Fan y Big, Cribyn, and Pen y Fan. There is a lovely route up to the peak of Fan Y Big which goes up through some fields and a river / small forest up onto the ridge, about 4.5 miles up to the peak then another 2 miles to Pen y Fan over (or you can go around) Cribyn. There is a pub about a 20 minute walk away (the Three Horseshoes Inn), a bit of walking on a road so take a torch if it'll be dark. Really can't recommend this highly enough - if you want to visit Pen y Fan then I can't think of any better place to stay!

Everything was perfect.

We loved the location, it was perfect - an 8 minute drive into Brecon town and beautiful views from our room. Our room was really cosy and we loved the attention to detail, we had everything we needed! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They cooked us a beautiful breakfast every morning, recommend local places to visit and photocopied hiking maps for us. There was a drying room for wet clothes which was very helpful! The hosts were easy to communicate with and we felt very comfortable to knock on the door for any questions or anything we needed!

The only criticism we have is that the pillows were a bit lumpy and flat.

This was a bit of a last-minute booking for us, and we did not expect to find this absolute gem of a B&B on the outskirts of Brecon, but within easy reach of all local amenities. Both Steve and Bron were wonderful hosts, providing pre-travel advice and helpful suggestions once we had arrived. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and of a very high specification. The breakfast was excellent - both in terms of quality and quantity. All in all, we had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days - thank you so much, Streve and Bron. Bravo!

Leaving!

Very comfortable, great hosts, perfect location for walking the beacons from the door. Plentiful breakfast options. Hosts cater for the walker, even boot dryers.

I liked it very much. There’s a guest area downstairs that is well thought out for evenings. A welcome addition to this would be a microwave to heat a ready meal, I was so tired after walking I didn’t have the energy to drive out to eat, so snacked on crisps and biscuits for my dinner.

Everything. The view from the room was amazing. The place is immersed in nature and has a lovely garden. The dry room where you can dry your wet clothes and boots was very helpful. The room is perfect in size and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is great too. Steve and Bronwyn are great and always available to give you information about walks in the area.

Nothing.

Steve and Bronwyn are natural hosts and I had a very nice stay. The B & B was modern and very clean, with an excellent lounge to relax in. The breakfast was one of the better ones I've had, in-fact I cant think of better. Everything was well thought out and the hosts were very helpful in suggestions and advice about the area.. The location is pretty central and convenient with a fine view of the black mountains

Cant think of anything at the moment

An outstanding place to stay. The room, the breakfast and the facilities were simply without fault. Add to this a view to die for and a really competitive price, and one could hardly ask for anything more. Our hosts were super-friendly and totally accommodating when it came to recommendations for supper or local walks etc. If we are ever in the area again we shall book in here without a second thought!

There is really no downside to this property although I would note that one has to use the car to reach a place to eat which may not suit everyone.

Location was perfect for the activities we had booked. Beautiful grounds and scenery. The owners of the property were very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was freshly cooked fresh at time of order. Plenty of information available for local taxis, restaurants and activities Rooms were immaculately clean and very well presented.

There was nothing I didn’t like, I will 100% be booking again.
