Modern hotel with a nice, easy and quick self check-in process but there was a member of staff on hand should they have been needed. The buffet breakfast was lovely with helpful restaurant staff. It's good that you have the option of paying a little more to use pool/gym facilities during your stay at the hotel if you wish to do so. It was just a short taxi ride away from the venue that we were attending - The Concorde Club in Eastleigh.

The glass door on the bathroom really wasn't ideal. I booked a twin room and was sharing with a friend. We both felt quite uncomfortable having an un-frosted glass door for the bathroom with the access being directly in the room and not even in a hallway. If I had have known this I wouldn't have actually booked the room. It may be an idea to notify customers of this when booking as it is something quite unusual! A little something to do more with the area than the hotel - if you need to travel by taxi - pre-book in advance! There was a really long wait and this is apparently quite common in the area.

Conveniently located 20 mins from centre of Southampton, clean, tidy & very modern colourful art deco style. Very comfortable beds. Great having a Starbucks in the hotel. Asda & McDonald’s located next door which is convenient for any last minute purchases you may need before going on holiday.

Bedroom doors need a soft closure fitting as slamming doors at all hours are very loud. Bathroom had a glass door that wasn’t frosted so you could see your family members on the toilet so may not be the best depending on who you are sharing the room with. The air conditioning didn’t work properly in one of our rooms. The bar & restaurant is a sports bar so is very loud with sky sports on lots of screens everywhere, great for a drink but not so relaxing when having a meal or trying to talk with guests. We had to send some of our food back as the pork ribs were cold in the middle & not heated properly, rest of food was ok but was overpriced. Ample car parking which is free at weekends.

We loved the size of the room, it was just right for 2. Bed was really comfy & we both had a good night sleep. Thank you for putting plugs next to the bed as hubby has cpac machine & this works very well for being able to use it efficiently. Tv was good & the air conditioning unit was great.

The shower was good however the water went everywhere as the glass shower screen too small for size of shower unit, need to put a bigger one in or a door as water went all over the floor & up the wall so damp & damage will occur over time. Not keen on the glass door to bathroom but understand the need to get light into the room. Could do with another towel hook by the sink to hang hand towel on. Dust on headboard. Cost of parking when we have paid to stay as a hotel guest, it should be free.

Upon arrival greeted by a friendly man at the desk helped us with the early checkin which was amazing as we had a long morning with flights etc - rooms were very clean air on in the rooms is a absolute bonus and the large screen is amazing good for relaxing and watching a movie !

Don’t get me wrong the breakfast was standard however the price is a bit steep - we went down too the bar for our meal and took a while to get our order in possibly new lad on the till , asked for lemonade with the gin ended up with soda water soon corrected - asked for chciken tenders large and got given chciken wings after a long wait but apart from that can’t fault the place very modern

We'd originally chosen this hotel because it was close to the airport and had availability last minute for our unexpected stay. However, we were extremely lucky to have found it on Booking.com because it turned out to be a great choice. The Reception staff were super friendly and efficient and assisted with everything we requested. In particular, Summer, went out of her way to help us. Breakfast staff were also very pleasant and worked hard. Loved the modern style and the range of facilities, such as lounge/bar, gym/pool etc. Our twin room had a gorgeous bathroom and the shower was amazingly accessible for someone with reduced mobility - the giant window and the complimentary products were great too.

The bedroom section was tight for space and we struggled with nowhere to open out our suitcases to unpack (aside from on the bed). Very limited space to move around. However, we only stayed for two nights so it wasn't the end of the world but we'd have struggled if we were staying longer.

Really modern and fun setup. Clean and well-laid out.

Nothing comes to mind apart from the rainfall shower head nozzles are all over the place. I had two jets firing straight out of the cubicle and there was evidence of it being the case for some time - and some were completely blocked. Wood skirting was starting to look rough just outside the shower. I’d suggest this gets fixed (very easily) before it develops in to a leak to the next floor down. Aside from that, I would 100pc stay again despite being a bit expensive.

We really like the attitude of the staff at all times, the location, the cleanness, the EV charging, the receptionist at check in, the restaurant, the mini football, the big TV screens, the fact that we could open the windows to ventilate them was fab, and the best for us was the wet area. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the small size of the double bedroom. We were saved because we've booked two rooms -interconnected- for our 8 year old twins and us. The disabled room 301 was very comfortable, for obvious reasons, but 302 was pretty little. My two family friends had the small double bed rooms and they also thought the same.

Appreciated the young lady at check in (1 April, around 7pm) who assigned us a double room with disability access since we had our 3 year old with us so we had a little more space in the room for him to move about. So we liked the extra space in the room and the bathroom :) Also good to note that there was an iron in the room.

Parking is not complimentary. We were just lucky that Saturdays are free so we didn't have to pay, otherwise it's £5 per day. They have a huge parking lot. Also, there was only one chair in the room so where's the second person going to sit? Finally, there was no mini fridge.

suit our purpose one night stay over on the way back from Bournemouth. Good location didn’t need to drive to closely to town. car park was free over weekend and we paid 5 pounds to use swimming pool and steam room. Large Sue bed and very comfy night sleep. really enjoyed our short break.

Health questionnaires needed before using swimming pool, Sauna and steam room. But not sure how it called health questionnaire if only one question asked was related” is there any health conditions we should know of”.

Modern hotel, spotlessly clean, cosy although a bit surprised by the glass bathroom door in a twin room! Quite noisy if you need to sleep in the day, the Hotel is also a gym and pool for members so its a busy place. We used the pool for a minimal charge but check times that kids are allowed in or they'll end up disappointed. Loads of parking when we checked in but difficult later in the evening, was a case of waiting for someone to leave. Nice bar area downstairs, not a great menu choice unless you want a burger. Nice buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. And an Asda right next door! Enjoyed the stay overall.
