Ample parking space at the back of the hotel, easy to reach the hotel coming from the highway, excellent bus connection to the city center (bus stop in front of the hotel without there being any noise). The beds were good. There was coffee and tea facilities in the room. The shower water pressure and temperature were excellent, the other reviews that I had previously read must have been false or for another room or prior to works done.

We just used the hotel to park the car, sleep and shower and then went off to explore Edinburgh and for that purpose it was perfect. We didn't take the breakfast option. We didn't interact with the personnel apart from checking in which was fast and easy. In the room, you could hear the toilet flushing of the neighbours and they had a young child which you could hear cry through the walls. We didn't mind much but I guess some people would find it disturbing.

Very clean, comfy sleep. Location easy for stadium and city centre short bus £2 or £6/7 in a taxi each way!

Drinking water tap that was accessible as unable to get this for kettle/water bottle outside of 10PM-10AM only bathroom sink taps accessible. Even a big jug filled and left in the dining room would be helpful. Bedroom 1 ground floor has bathroom external we knew in advance so no big issue but a sign to indicate it was for specific guest use or a lock from outside to stop it being shared would be helpful and more reassuring that it wasn’t communal. Overall just these 2 things that would have really helped.

Clean, nice clean area and closer to shops and bus routes for going to city centre, free parking, proper shower with really hot water and very very good water flow, bit too noisy but didn’t bother me Big rooms, tall ceilings and a desk for me to put my laptop, wardrobe and plenty drawers to store things, overall very good, maybe putting a small fridge in the room could help in some regards. Plenty clean towels, toilet paper to spare provided in the room, room cleaned every day.

Cold, and heating only on a couple of nights, it was so cold it was uncomfortable to sleep, and I had terrible cramps through the night because of this. The tall ceiling doesn’t help about that. The door to the hotel had issues through my stay where the key I had wouldn’t open it, that was for other guests too, and they had me worried I couldn’t get back in, I don’t think guests should be concerned with that sort of stuff during a hotel stay, doesn’t matter if they’re there for business or otherwise

The property was very clean and very well presented, communication was fab. Check in was easy and secure. Location was great and information was readily available at reception as to facilities. Staff very pleasant, especially the lady I seen in the morning, she was lovely! Bedroom was lovely and warm, bedding spotless.

The shower was a bit poor water pressure and I had to walk past a mattress in the hall a few times that was left in the hall a bit too long! The beds were a bit creaky.

Liked that there was a supermarket nearby and a bus stop that operated with buses that took us to the city centre in just a few minutes.

The bed was actually too small for two person and there was absolutely no way to set the temperature in the shower other then really hot.

The hotel was clean, we didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The reception staff were very helpful. Some furniture could do with updating, the shower wasn’t very powerful, but the bed was very clean and comfortable. Well worth the money we paid.

It was too far to walk into the main city centre, but the bus stop is right opposite the hotel and was only £2.

We liked the cozy small room, comfortable beds, excellent transport interchange. A bit annoying street noise from the window, but in a big city it's a given. In general, we were very satisfied with the hotel.

A bit noisy in the room. Everything else was good.
