I organised a hen weekend to stay at the hotel and travel to the races from there. I had to rearrange my trip due to the fact the races were cancelled. I contacted the hotel the day before to ask them if they could help me plan a nice day for a group of 15 and nothing was too much trouble. The manager was amazing All the staff were friendly and really helpful. Gemma was exceptional. She was the beautician and went above and beyond to fit the ladies in and everyone who had treatment with her couldn’t rate her high enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice pool and jacuzzi and sauna and steam room.food was very good price .manager is very pleasant and hard working and so are all the staff

Beds not so comfy ,rooms very hot stayed in the hotel part could do with being updated .also would of been nice to have a small fridge in room and maybe a packet of biscuits each .not 1 pack to share and complimentary water would of been nice .stayed here before but stayed in the outside rooms now they are fantastic nice and roomy with outside patio well worth the extra money

Our room was really lovely- spacious worth the extra money - very comy bed. Clean bright. private quiet and away from the main hotel which meant we slept well despite overlooking carpark/ road. A minor issue is light coming in through blinds - curtains would be much better for light sleepers

Check in needs serious looking at. There were 2 couples ahead of us. each time the receptionist took the couple soff for a r5 minute tour to show thgem where the pool was etc etc etc. when we said we would find our way he insisted. There were others behind us. So what should have been a quick check inw as 25 mins. Not needed in a place this small.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Burton Hotel. We could not fault anything. The staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. We spent an hour or so in the spa next door which was great after a long journey down. We decided to have a couple of drinks in the bar and eat in the restaurant. The food was lovely and there was a good range of beers and ciders on offer. Prices were very reasonable.

Hands down the friendliest welcome I’ve ever had at a hotel. There’s a real focus on customer service and cleanliness. We stayed in an accessible deluxe room in the newer building. The pool, gym and spa facilities are available to all guests - lovely pool. The male pool attendant who was on duty during our stay was exceptional - very focused on hygiene with regular cleaning happening. Good breakfast and great facilities make this an ideal place to stay for families, couples and solo travellers.

Staff - friendly and polite. Food - good variety and tasty. Manicure - happy with treatment Room - clean Good communication prior to arrival , very helpful and accommodating. Our son was sadly violently unwell at dinner table, staff were kind and cleaned up stick without a fuss. Proceeded to bring our meal over to our room.

Lack of parking when private function on. Accommodation being in separate building to main hotel ( this may appeal to a lot of people). Chlorine level in pool was quite high and temperature on the cooler side.

The staff, facilities, food and location were exceptional. From the minute I called prior to checking in to leaving they were friendly engaging and just made the stay so enjoyable. The room was cosy and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and had a great shower with good water pressure. The pictures do not do the hotel justice, the pool area is large and really relaxing. The pool is big enough to do laps or relax in. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant and it had a very varied selection of different dishes to cater to different tastes but so well executed.

The room location was in a little bit of a noisy thoroughfare and late at night and early it was a little loud but didn't detract from the stay.

The staff were all, warm and welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us. The room was very comfortable. The pool was lovely. My partner had an exceptional massage. All of our food was really delicious.

I liked everything. Just the slightest comment on cleaning. I'm afraid there were some missed cobwebs and bits on the floor by the bed. Saying this sounds very petty, but it's just the smallest detail and easily sorted.

The reception staff were great and helpful, showed us to our room and how to access the spa. The bar was well stocked with beers and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was good and not over priced. The spa was excellent and was almost empty when we used it. The breakfast was good, a good selection of cerals and juices and fruit, yoghurts and toast with jams etc. All in all a great evening and stay, would definately use again

Can't think of anything apart from a tiny thing, the mushrooms we had on our breakfast were cooked with garlic and i don't like garlic so had to leave my mushroom and hash bacon as i could taste garlic

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Food in the hotel pub was very nice. Friendly atmosphere.

No aircon in what looks like a fairly modern building. There was a ceiling fan which helped but it was very hot when we stayed. Also, the windows only opened a very small amount ( probably due to safety ), which meant we couldn't get the night-time cooler air in the room.
