The Den is a spotlessly clean little apartment with a home from home feel as everything is brand new and very well converted. Everything you need. Comfortable bed. Great location and lovely and peaceful. Coffee, tea, milk etc provided which was great, even some dog treats. Perfect size for 2 adults and a 12 year old and well behaved doggo. Lovely welcome on arrival. Walking distance to some lovely eateries, pubs and hotels where the locals were very welcoming. Food was excellent!! Would definitely recommend.

The £15 per dog per night was a little expensive we felt. Booking.com stated there was no charge?? We probably would not have booked had we known this in advance. Had to reverse into the parking space as we have a long car which was quite tricky as the Lodge is off a main road but managed. The shower was lovely but could have been a little hotter.

The steps leading to the flat are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I struggled a bit. The sofa is very uncomfortable for watching tv for any length of time

Stayed two nights in the Holt. We found it extremely comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and with much thought having gone into the small details. Trevor and Sarah were very gracious hosts and were on hand to solve anything. We hope to return.

nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, but really not a big deal. Parking will be a tight squeeze when the place is busy.But really nothing negative to say about this place.

The location was perfect for the things we wanted to see. A great central location for the Yorkshire Dales. The place was very clean and had everything you might need inside.

The steps up to the room and the low entrance of the door, you had to make sure you ducked whenever you walked through.

Perfectly situated, had all the amenities required for me and my son to enjoy a dad and lad holiday and the hosts were fantastic, friendly and welcoming.

That we couldn't stay longer, not because of the facility but we had to be home for swimming lessons the next day 😂

We stayed 2 nights at The Holt. The facility was beautiful and so comfortable. The proprietors clearly took their visitors needs into consideration while providing a fresh, modern look to the lounge/kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. We needed Trevor's assistance to navigate a very "tight" car park, but other than that, our stay was flawless.

Loved the cosiness of 'The Den'. Was well decorated and very clean and tidy. Loved the idea of a towel rail to dry our towels overnight! Ideal location for the town and walks. Host was very pleasant and very friendly. Would definitely go back again, if in the area.

Didn't like the fact that the internet was not brilliant, host says it's just been upgraded so will be in touch with provider and let them know it's not yet to satisfactory level. Fingers crossed

Great location close to Leyburn centre. Really nicely decorated property - we stayed in The Holt studio apartment. Very well-equipped kitchen. Nice fizz glasses! Very clean. Comfortable beds with nice pillows. Peaceful. Lovely hosts with good comms. Would definitely book again.

So glad we found this wee gem online. The den is comfortable, quiet and was perfect for the two of us for a short stay. It’s also gorgeous. I’m in love with the decor, it was styledso well. The space has everything that we needed.

it’s a tight car park but there is parking available

Immaculate accommodation. Comfortable and warm. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen. A friendly welcome from Henry.

The car park is not easy to negotiate, as it is narrow. The sofa is not overly comfortable.
