Wonderful location with constantly changing views over the harbour. Having a separate sitting room was a real bonus.

My only disappointment was the lack of storage space. There was an alcove with a hanging rail and some clothes hangers but no drawers to put other clothes into. Staying for six nights and and having to 'live out of a suitcase' was irritating ! I was on my own - if I had been sharing the room the lack of storage would have been much worse. It was paricularly galling when there was plenty of room for a chest of drawers.

The staff communicated well before and after. It was a self check in but easy and seamless. The location is right on the harbour with parking available directly behind for customers only. The moment we entered it was fresh, smelt good and very clean. The room was an upgrade because of a late cancellation by a family, so we got a bigger room with the harbour view. The equipment all worked well.

There is no breakfast offered, but there are places listed and right outside the door where you can get food and coffee. It suited us, because we already had brunch booked with family in St Abb's just up the coast which is a famous beautiful little fishing village, with stunning scenery :-)

The room was comfortable for 3 guests, and very clean. When we arrived, Amanda the caretaker popped out to ensure we had everything we needed. There is convenient parking behind the guest house, and the room includes information about places to have breakfast. The town itself, although a little bit out of the way from the main tourist sites, was lovely for an evening stroll along the harbor to enjoy watching the seals. For us, it was a convenient stopover place for our visit to Lindisfarne. We would absolutely stay there again.

No fault to the guest house itself, but good to know: restaurants tend to close a bit early, so good to get there on the early side. But Amanda was very helpful finding us convenient takeaway places close by.

Fantastic little place. The room was lovely and spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need in it. The beds were huge and comfortable. The Owner Keith greeted us as we arrived and secured us a table at the restaurant next door despite them being about to stop serving food. He also made suggestions for breakfast and told us about the seals in the harbour. He could not do enough for us.

I genuinely cannot fault anything with this place.

Lovely room, very spacious and clean. The small touches ie coffee/biscuits and water by the bed were nice. Great location and view. Amanda and Keith were very pleasant and welcoming. Amanda was very responsive and dealt with the unfortunate power cut in the area promptly. She went over and beyond to try to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend

Could do with blackout curtains especially when travelling with a baby.

Great location, very clean, quiet. Parking at the property a bonus. Amanda allowed us to park up early as we were walking the coastal path which was great. Lovely view of the harbour. Good communication re checking in.

Beds a little small/narrow (twin room). Bathroom spotless but was on the small side. But perfectly manageable for one night. Could of done with a curtain rather than blind on the window as sunlight woke us up very early!!

Great communication from hosts. Lovely location on harbour. Spotlessly clean, simply furnished, comfortable with everything I needed, including free parking. Breakfast isn't provided, but there are several eateries within a short walking distance. View of harbour from window.

Would have preferred an ensuite room, but for one night the private loo and shower room a step across the hall was fine. (I was in Room 3)

We were met by the host Keith on arrival, very friendly and welcoming. Also gave us info on eateries etc. Great spot with our room overlooking the water. Couldn’t fault anything about the accommodation. It was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite sparkling clean. Easy check in and check out with the hosts being readily available. Thanks for a lovely stay in a great location.

Everything was perfect.

The room was comfortable with all that was expected and the host attentive. Secure bike storage was provided. The location on the dock side is great, but has the disadvantage of noise once it gets light and boats head out to sea.

Some places we stayed included breakfast at the same price point, although it's not clear that providing breakfast would be physically possible, given the layout of the building. There are cafes nearby but not opening until 9 am. The blind does not do a good job of keeping the sun out early in the morning.

Very clean and fresh and so welcoming. We were a big family staying for a wedding, the location was perfect and everything about the rooms were great our son was staying in room 6 which ment there was a beautiful lounge area for the family to relax. We booked out 3 rooms and were so happy with our stay. The owners were very accommodating and friendly, we look forward to staying again.
