Staff were very attentive to our party throughout our stay. Excellent lunch and excellent dinner also. Grounds are amazing - very tranquil

The mattresses were the only thing that let it down badly for the 4 of us. Didn’t get a good nights sleep at all - so so very very soft and obviously quite old as you sunk so much in a the channel that is made on it. Room was very warm too - even with fan - air con would so be a good bonus. Also kingside bed would be preferred too.

This is my go to spa - I love it here and we have been coming for a few years now. Great staff great beds great spa

Well it does need a bit of TLC in the spa areas - starting to look like it needs a deep clean from the water ( a good bit descaling will help!!) Tiles are missing from the pool & steam rooms and the silicone is coming off the roof of the steam room and does not look great. Only other moan is that there is no way enough veggie options in the restaurant - great if you eat meat - def not enough fish on the menu either

The ability to unwind, with lots of greenery around the grounds and being one with nature. The relaxed atmosphere was great. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. The spa facilities were adequate for the time being spent there. The massages were great.. all in all, an amazing 2 night stay.

The telephone was not plugged in the room, and had to struggle to get the connection cord in. Also, when I called reception from the room by dialling 0 as instructed, the call went to the option as if I was out at home placing a reservation. Nevertheless, a quick walk to reception on the way to the spa gave the opportunity to have my required request fulfilled. Also, lunch could have been included fir the price paid, but that wouldn't deter me going back there. My husband and I loved it.

Set in beautiful grounds the hotel is stunning and has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable and well stocked with water, tea and biscuits on arrival. The spa was lovely, jacuzzi, steam room, salt room (my fave), sauna and cold plunge pool was great. The pool was warm. Everything was clean and well kept. There is a lovely quiet lounge hidden upstairs too which is worth seeking out if you just want to chill. Breakfast was good, it is buffet style but served for you. Great selection of teas and a coffee machine for lattes etc. We had a couples massage and afternoon tea on our second day which I highly recommended. All staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay and I am sure we will come again.

Nothing, highly recommend staying here

The dining, the jacuzzi/spa area, although very busy it was still a reqarding experience as other activities available around the spa area so no one stayed longer in one area than neccessary. Hence, we were able to enjoy the spa, swimming, jacuzzi, steam and dry sauna. Also endless dry and clean towels available around the spa area gave that added touch. We took walks around the amaaazing grounds which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bar/ dining area and breakfast served was exceptional as was the dinner. Great, helpful, respectful and corteous staff. I had a loovely birthday celebrated here with my daughter for two night. We will definately be back. Exceptional value for money too and being able to use the spa after check out is what takes Lifehouse above the other spa's

A little bit too busy around the spa but as I mentioned I was able to still enjoy myself. Also

Ample car parking Friendly check in Good size room, comfortable bed, lovely view and Juliet balcony Beautiful grounds Lovely area to sit outside by bar/restaurant Good reflexology treatment Good atmosphere

No option for hand held shower in room, only fixed, overhead rain shower Room hot and stuffy without windows open. Had to shut windows for security at night. (Fan provided) Breakfast lacklustre - queuing canteen style - for the premium price of the stay I'd expect table service, and better coffee than self service machine coffee. Only one coffee machine for a large dining room, and same with having to make toast your self. By the time you'd queued for food, separately for coffee and separately for toast the food was getting cold and it wasn't a relaxing experience. Didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening. Good, cheaper options elsewhere.

lovely comfortable room, good quality bed and the grounds in June are beautiful. Excellent local produce on the menu and without exception, all the staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I loved every minute of my stay. One minor area that could be improved was the quality of the piped music in the outside area around the pool. It was not good quality "mood" music, but was synthy, full of tinny 120bpm eurodisco beats and overall sounded cliched. The speakers do not help, they could be improved to give a richer, warmer sound. Overall it was intrusive rather than calming

Stunning grounds. Various gardens & pond areas for you to explore. Exceptional spa area and large pool with sauna, steam room, salt room & plunge pool. A lovely outside patio area with sunbeds for you to relax outside. Friendly staff.

The heat in the bedrooms is unbearable! We stayed in room 40. It wasn't even hot weather outside. and the radiator was not on. We had to leave the French doors open to let cool air in the room for the whole of our stay. Can't imagine what it must be like when we have a heatwave. The restaurant is very expensive.

The facilities were amazing and so were the treatments. All staff were outstanding, welcoming and made you feel at ease. From the moment we arrived we felt a sense of relaxation and calm. Would highly recommend the breakfast, Salmon, Antipasta, all sides and desserts. I am GF, so a little limited. However they did everything as best as they could to accomadate. We would definitely be returning

I personally would have preferred a slightly more varying menu, especially if staying for a few nights. Slightly disappointed with the Steak ;-( Maybe a little more transpancy on additional costs such as room service charges would be benefical.

Me and my partner got engaged here 13th july 2021 so we wanted to come back before we get married july 13th this year..we wanted a little break just for us. We had the best time so relaxing. The gardens are beautiful we walked around and went to the place we got engaged. Food is lovely, the staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The Facilities are great. I've taken my mum for her birthday last year which she loved. She will be taking me for my birthday in October. This is one of our favourite places to relax we will be returning very soon.

The only thing I would say is the ice bucket and and flutes hiring is very expensive if it was £5 we would have used it instead of the sink
