Staff superb, friendly, welcoming, always someone around. The view is stunning! The beds are comfortable and rooms spacious, nice complementary tea tray, ple ty of hangers and room for bits and bobs. Extension lead right next to the bed was really appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, well cooked. Extra heater in room just incase. All in all for the price excellent value.

Shower was a bit tight but nothing major, I'm a bigger girl and I managed, for someone average size I'm sure It would be fine.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A previous guest had lost the room key, and we were early but the receptionist kindly let us into our room earlier than the designated check in time and nipped out to get a key cut for us. I also needed an iron, and one was kindly provided. The decor was lovely and clean and bright. The room was also clean, bright and spacious with a great sea view. Breakfast was top notch. Hot and freshly made. Sausage, bacon, egg, beans, cereal, toast, orange and apple juice, tea and coffee. Perfect to start the day on. They also have an in house fish and chip shop which you can either takeaway or eat in the hotel restaurant which we did.

Nothing to find fault with at all.

The breakfast was excellent and the room had a lovely see view and was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again but not in the winter!!!

The room was cold and the only heater was a very small plug in radiator. As it was February I thought that there would have been a larger radiator. The bathroom had no heating and was freezing cold. We were on the top floor and there was no lift. I appreciate it is an old building and possibly does not facilitate room for a lift.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Both rooms were excellent with the seaview. Unfortunately, we had to check out early and missed the breakfast. We were there to attend a funeral from Clacton on Sea to Colchester Cemetry and were not able to make it back to the hotel. Overall rating: Excellent Hope to visit again Thank you for the hospitality

Our stay has been very short and have not been able to make the most of it. But will do definitely on next visit. Hopefully we might book for few nights and enjoy our trip.

We liked the people that ran the hotel, all were very helpful, the breakfast was absolutely superb, I would rate it very highly. Plenty of toast, cereals and juices should we have wanted them. We liked the décor in the hotel, very modern and up to date in the grey/white blends, the colours which are used so often these days.

The only thing I would say as a suggestion to Sign post the Hotel Car Parking area, especially if people come at night when its dark, if that is possible.

Amazing seafront location, being rated only 2 star I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I have 100% stayed in 3 star places that were not as nice as this. Room has been smoked in as evident from the burns / discoloured areas on the upbeat window frame & very slight smell of smoking when entering the room but i have to repeat VERY slight smell, I’m a non smoker and it was nowhere near enough to be an issue (just a shame some guests can’t respect the non smoking rules but not the hotels fault). Breakfast was great staff were great. Would stay here again without a moments thought.

Honestly nothing really, only thing I could think would be in peak season a space in their car park could possibly be hard to come by but there’s a sign saying you can ask staff about alternative parking.

When we arrived room wasn’t the room I had booked! probably worse room I have ever been put in!!! but it was sorted out in four hours by a lovely reception girl and we had a lovely room as I was expecting from my booking, was lovely!!! so was pleased with the way they reacted!

Room at first but that was resolved!! also the cereal should be on the side with juice and tea, so we could help ourselves! until they came to ask us if we wanted a full breakfast! would be easier for them as well. Did not like a couple coming into the breakfast room in there pj and dressing gown!!! it let the place down! Also room above was noisy till gone 12pm on the first night. Not hotels fault though

Omg where do I start?! Staff were impressively helpful, friendly and easy people to talk to overall! Food is amazing (try the fish I dare ya!!!) Was allowed to keep milk for lil one in their fridge. Honestly thank you so much girls!!!!! We will be back with our 4 year old so good luck that's all I'm saying haha ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't like the fact it proper rained on the last day but they let us use the back door to put bags in the car which was in the car park provided by the hotel :D
