Breakfast was a very tasty full English served at the time we agreed and in a pleasant dining room. This b n b is in a very rural location at the end of a long access road (formerly the road to a now non-existent mansion). There is a pleasant lawned garden. Ken and Jean, the hosts, were very friendly and helpful. In the small room adjoining our room there is a fridge so we had a ready supply of chilled water, milk, etc. which was most appreciated as we visited during a heatwave. We stayed for only two nights but would gladly have stayed longer.

Although the room wasn’t large it was adequate and well equipped (note: steps up and down to access it) Very nice cooked breakfast served in the morning. Pleasant surroundings.

No Wi-Fi, telephone signal sporadic, mobile data signal even more so. This makes checking weather forecasts and route planning almost impossible in the room. Mobile signal just about adequate for navigation app at the front of the property.

Really friendly host. Greated us at the car on arrival and provide coffee and biscuits on the terrace. Lovely comfy bed with a marshmallow of a quilt. Nice clean nsuite shower /wc. Well stocked tea and coffee-making facilities in the room with a fridge also available. Excellent tv reception and free WiFi.

Lovely quiet location, ideal for Rosemoor. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable although a bit small, but that was fine as we were able to sit outside in the evening, and there was a lounge we could have used if the weather hadn't been so good.

We stayed here while visiting friends who recently moved into the area. Beautiful location in the countryside. Very friendly and helpful host - Ken. Clean and comfortable accommodation with all the facilities you need for a short stay. We really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to Ken for his help with local information and also for the gift of locally produced eggs on our departure.

Great breakfast, welcoming hosts - they provided cutlery for our picnic supper - really helpful. We had had a very busy day nearby so didn’t want to drive anywhere, so a minor snag is the distance to a nice pub. But we were very happy!!

Personal touches such as pot of tea on arrival. Breakfast was delicious. Location was a little remote but very quiet and peaceful. Owners were lovely people, very helpful. Left with a bag of plant cuttings that I’d enquired after.

Our hosts were charming and attentive. They provided individual choice for breakfast ….the cooked breakfasts were very well cooked and presented. Ken was very helpful about local attractions. There was a sitting room available for our use. Location was peaceful and arrival instructions were very helpful.

Good location - friendly welcome - excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean - provided everything we required.

Slightly off beaten track but instructions for location were clear and helpful - so no problem.

Charming and helpful hosts. Lovely mature garden. Well located for RHS Rosemoor gardens. Excellent breakfast and breakfast room with real antiques. We’ve stayed there several times and it always meets expectations.
