A very warm and welcoming hotel from the minute you arrive, greeted by lovely staff, who where very attentive and professional. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with lots of quirks as well as modern comforts. A choice of bedding if required, and a whole list of complimentary items, also as required. The food was fantastic without emptying the wallet, and a whole range of on tap beers , ales and cider. Cocktails to die for, again for an amazing price. If you are in the area, the White Hart is so worth a visit, eat, drink or stay. We will without a shadow of doubt visit the White Hart again. If I can offer any advice, it’s book early as this place only has 5 wonderful rooms.

Welcoming, comfortable bed, air conditioning in the room. nice touch of complementary cream tea, good quality food, breakfast was amazing. Lovely room with good blackout blinds and curtains. Would stay again.

Large outdoor area in garden but in the shade (under marquee) and all no smoking, limited seating at the front in the sun, all were in use. Hairdryer kept over heating in use and coffee pod machine didn’t work correctly. The room was lovely but small which is fine but doesn’t need all the extras, just a chess board, takes up space and makes it more cramped.

Stayed here twice so far with another stay planned in 2 weeks. Rooms are lovely, lots of thoughtful extras and little touches included. VERY dog friendly and a really small fee for pet stays. Staff are all lovely and a credit to the white hart. Lots of vegan options/staff knowledgable on dietary requirements and allergies.

In the process of changing their menu for the new month meant they were running low on meals for the evening but that didn’t stop us having plenty of choice.

We loved how helpful & friendly the young and cheerful staff team are. We had an early start on Sunday (leaving before 8am) and so had planned to give breakfast a miss. We were told that preparing an early breakfast was no problem and were given a menu to choose what we'd like and place our order the previous evening. Our full English breakfast was prepared early for us and ready when we arrived. It was delicious - and hugely appreciated. Our room ( La Parisienne ) was really comfortable, air conditioned and so well equipped. The bath was fab. We'd never visited Hingham before - it's lovely. Some beautiful buildings & architecture and we really enjoyed a stroll around the village. Newsagents directly across the road - perfect for the weekend papers!

The White Hart was perfect for us. Only slight disadvantage was the noise from the kitchen extraction system during the evening, but this didn't adversely impact our stay.

Very comfortable bed, large bathroom with stand alone bathtub and a massive shower. Good bar area and very dog friendly. We had a tasty traditional Sunday lunch and the breakfast included was generous and varied to suit most tastes. On street parking is free and Hingham itself is a lovely village and worth exploring. Very welcoming with friendly staff and a good local atmosphere.

We didn't need to use the free wi-fi but there was no mention of the password in any of the room information and we only discovered it in the check out area when we were leaving! The shower was impressively large but the cobbled floor was a bit uneven for my old feet - water pressure could have been stronger and temperature hotter.

Lively local hotel/pub, very nice rooms and good honest food. But above all else the service was exceptional. Genuinely friendly, engaging staff that are passionate about their business and their customers. They went the extra mile, offered a packed breakfast because we were off before service started, they couldn’t do enough. They even have grooming products in the public toilets! Thanks to everyone that made it an unexpectedly memorable stay.

my wife and i were visiting the area for a wedding.Both the bed and the bathroom facilities were excellent.The breakfast was fantastic, plenty to eat and loads of options and nothing seemed to be a problem for all the staff during our stay.

The evening meals we both had could have been better.Neither starter tasted of much or my wifes main course which was the vegetarian offering.Perhaps we were expecting too much from the initial arrival experience . the rest of the stay was fantastic. The hotel could consider running a local drop off as taxis charged from their original destination in another town which made a 6 minute journey an unreasonable price as their didn't seem to be a taxi service in the town.

The bed was large and super comfy. Room was spacious, very high wooden beams and very well equipped plus with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful 😁. Breakfast was also good and extras were available without charge.

The dressmakers dummy high up in the rafters in our room bothered me but I was able to ignore it

Lovely social rooms furnished with comfortable chairs and decorated tastefully. Appreciated the coffee maker, lovely biscuits and the pretty teapot with matching tea cups. Well appointed bedroom and bathroom, both tastefully decorated.

A noisy toilet cistern and we couldn’t get the plug to work in the bath Sat at the reserved table by the fire for dinner and breakfast. The bench seat would benefit from cushions and the fire was pushing out a lot of heat which was a bit overpowering.

Credit where credit is due!! The staff were exceptional !! Polite, courteous , friendly and very professional. Food was amazing, the cream tea on our arrival was delicious and the room was absolutely gorgeous. I fully recommend this beautiful place!

We had a slight issue with the humming from the extractor fan outside our window in Room 5 but was told this would be turned off at 10.30pm. Staff turned this down when it came on the next morning so as not to disturb us. I must say it wasn't a real issue for us but staff went out of their way to rectify any problems.
