Nice decor, very comfortable bed. Very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were really nice. As I checked in late they even called me to find out whether I wanted to order something from the kitchen before it closed. Breakfast and coffee were very good.

A bit hot in room although does have aircon. As on main road there is some traffic noise so didn't open window. The safety light in bedroom was too bright for me, shining all night. I'm not convinced that allowing dogs on beds in hotel bedrooms is a good idea. However, I should have read the description before I booked. Not the hotel's fault at all.

A lovely historic building with great ambiance and a friendly atmosphere. The hospitality was excellent. Very comfortable room with great facilities. All the staff were pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic. You could not fault their service. A special thank you to "Maddy" for organising my request for the surprise for my Wife. A salute to the Chefs for providing an inspiring, varied Menu. The food for all our meals was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Need to fix the trip hazard carpet in room 5. An observation, not a criticism. We did report it to the Housekeeping staff.

Thriving small town hotel with friendly staff who are willing to go that extra mile. Parking directly outside the hotel. Comfortable, cosy, and welcoming bar with roaring log fire. Food was excellent. Great choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Extensive choice of drinks. Exceptionally dog friendly, they even have their own menu! Very comfortable bedroom and bathroom, nicely decorated.

A very warm and welcoming hotel from the minute you arrive, greeted by lovely staff, who where very attentive and professional. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with lots of quirks as well as modern comforts. A choice of bedding if required, and a whole list of complimentary items, also as required. The food was fantastic without emptying the wallet, and a whole range of on tap beers , ales and cider. Cocktails to die for, again for an amazing price. If you are in the area, the White Hart is so worth a visit, eat, drink or stay. We will without a shadow of doubt visit the White Hart again. If I can offer any advice, it’s book early as this place only has 5 wonderful rooms.

Stayed with my large dog and couldn’t have felt more welcome. The evening food in the restaurant and the breakfast in the bar were excellent, and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Dog biscuits and fresh milk were nice touches.

Nothing. If you wanted an early night and were a light sleeper, then there was a bit of noise from the restaurant and the road outside but it didn’t affect me.

The hotel was very comfortable and the evening meal and the breakfast were both excellent. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient in there manner.

The only criticism I have is that I was staying in room 1, which was a lovely room, but it was next door to the upstairs dining room and on the Friday night there was a very lively party of diners, which could be heard in my room and was quite noisy until about 11.30

Stayed here twice so far with another stay planned in 2 weeks. Rooms are lovely, lots of thoughtful extras and little touches included. VERY dog friendly and a really small fee for pet stays. Staff are all lovely and a credit to the white hart. Lots of vegan options/staff knowledgable on dietary requirements and allergies.

In the process of changing their menu for the new month meant they were running low on meals for the evening but that didn’t stop us having plenty of choice.

Welcoming, comfortable bed, air conditioning in the room. nice touch of complementary cream tea, good quality food, breakfast was amazing. Lovely room with good blackout blinds and curtains. Would stay again.

Large outdoor area in garden but in the shade (under marquee) and all no smoking, limited seating at the front in the sun, all were in use. Hairdryer kept over heating in use and coffee pod machine didn’t work correctly. The room was lovely but small which is fine but doesn’t need all the extras, just a chess board, takes up space and makes it more cramped.

From the warmest welcome to the gorgeous room and delicious food this place is a winner. The bed was so comfy, gorgeous white fluffy towels and super toiletries with the cutest tea pot for tea imaginable. I couldn’t have been made more welcome which matters as a solo traveller. The food was gorgeous both in the evening and the breakfast and the cheese scones are heavenly! You really should try them!

I liked everything

We loved how helpful & friendly the young and cheerful staff team are. We had an early start on Sunday (leaving before 8am) and so had planned to give breakfast a miss. We were told that preparing an early breakfast was no problem and were given a menu to choose what we'd like and place our order the previous evening. Our full English breakfast was prepared early for us and ready when we arrived. It was delicious - and hugely appreciated. Our room ( La Parisienne ) was really comfortable, air conditioned and so well equipped. The bath was fab. We'd never visited Hingham before - it's lovely. Some beautiful buildings & architecture and we really enjoyed a stroll around the village. Newsagents directly across the road - perfect for the weekend papers!

The White Hart was perfect for us. Only slight disadvantage was the noise from the kitchen extraction system during the evening, but this didn't adversely impact our stay.
