A very pleasant hotel. Although being a tall person 6ft 2 inches it was a challenge being in the top floor effectively in the attic with low ceilings. I also banged my head in the cellar where the breakast area was situated and on arrivsl into the Hotel. I would recommend signage there as i gave my head a good whack on a beam and a sign warning would be a good idea.

Unfortunately the only room available was at the top of the building on the hottest day of the year and due to the listed status the shower over bath was difficult to stand up in. Next time we stay we will request a room with more appropriate shower facilities for our taste.

Would have liked to stay longer!

Breakfast was freshly cooked in the morning and lots of choice, the location for us was excellent a short walk from friends and relatives. We had a really lovely stay and the owners were friendly and welcoming, our room was really comfortable and had all amenities, slept really well, would highly recommend.

Nothing to fault

second time we have stayed here . lovely hotel . we didn’t have breakfast this time only because of an early getaway and we’re sad not too , everyone was in the courtyard which is beautiful eating a delicious looking cooked breakfast . we will definitely be back .

parking !! we did park on the main road and now I’m wondering if there is a local car park that could be used . we will ask next time .

From being met on the driveway to the warm welcome at breakfast and the cosy, cared for rooms every part of my stay at the Mansion House Hotel was superb. Room was cosy and welcoming, I loved the little additions such as the table top fridge and the small toiletries in the perfectly proportioned bathroom. Breakfast was well considered and although I only grabbed a few continental items it was ideal for business travel. Kind, caring and thoughtful hosts.

The front of the house was on a main road so prepare for a bit of noise from passing traffic - perhaps ear plugs could be a provided item.

Very clean, everything you need, relaxed hosts who let you relax. Lovely surroundings. Old cottage with lots of charm. Nice breakfast, again very relaxed. We didn’t take photos as everything was just great.

If you want a concrete "premier inn" style hotel this is not for you! This is a lovely warm, quirky, friendly, comfortable, personal, attentively run home from home. From the sumptuous leather sofas in the lounge/bar area to the quiet "reading" room tucked up on the first floor I felt so comfortable here. My room was very clean and comfortable with a generously stocked tea, coffee and hot chocolate selection, it was blissfully quiet meaning I could have online teams meetings without concern (the wifi is great). The owners have done a great job in protecting their guests as much as possible from covid, with a new breakfast area freeing up space in the dining area and signs in place as a reminder to be spatially aware. The whole place is full of character with dining taking place in the below ground scullery and old servants quarters - full of character and intrigue. The hosts were so friendly and took time with their guests ensuring everyone had all they needed - and as for the freshly cooked breakfast it was the best way to start my day after a great nights sleep. I'll definitely be returning now that I have found this little gem.

The only thing that could have been better is if I'd been able to stay an extra night or two - but I needed to head off after just one very pleasant night here.

I have been there 2 times and can highly recommend 👌 Amazing hosts, great to enjoy peace of mind after hard study sessions in a cosy place. Breakfast awesome, always warm and on time. Recommend!!

Very friendly hotel. comfortable and bit quirky - which I enjoy after years of corporate type accommodation. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Be aware that Mondays are tricky if you are looking for a decent meal. Most places in Holbeach were closed - a couple of so-so takeaways available.
