The location was central to lots of things to do in Inverness. Close to the shopping centre, abertaff house and a short drive to culloden battlefield. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. When we checked in with my 5 year old we had a little surprise of a small nessie toy, irn bru and teacakes which was a lovely touch.

The bathroom could do with a little upgrading and a few parts of the bedroom could do with a repaint. One downside of it being close to the centre was the noise of traffic. The hotel did leave us earplugs to use in the room. Had to keep the window open as it was warm, so traffic and trains were always moving

I booked this hotel for my very disabled wife and I to have short break after her Heart By Pass operation. One day later my wife had a relapes and was stopped from travelling. I cantacted the hotel twice by email and once by telephon to cancel our booking and further asked them to reply to my email. I further emailed Bookings.Com informing them of my cancellation. Two months later I was informed by my bank that the hotel had charged me over £200 for the cancillation when no charge should have been made. I saved for this break yet the hotel just took payment without informing me they intended to do so. VERY SHAMEFUL OF THE THEM AND BOOKING. COM. I now have to get both of them to understand. Sydney Duffy.

Informed me that you had taken funds from my bank without informing me.

The rooms were really spacious and the facilities were amongst the best I have personally seen at hotels. There is a really nice gym with plenty of equipment and a separate studio/yoga room. There is also a nice pool - a bit too small to do proper laps, but something that gets the job done during a vacation - and a sauna and steam room. The breakfast buffet was also really nice. We also got a lot of complimentary things - drinks, both alcoholic and not, and also discount on food.

There is nothing in particular that I didn't like about this place. The price was a bit high, although I am not familiar with the usual rate during the Scottish summer.

We booked this hotel at the absolute last minute (probably around 6pm on the night we stayed there) when our other accommodations fell through. The booking and check in process were easy and clear. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, it was walking distance to Inverness (about 1.5 miles), and it even had a pool and hot tub. There was also a fan provided in the room.

The room smelled slightly like cleaning supplies- at least we knew it was clean, but it wasn't the best smell in the world. The hot tub, while still better than nothing, didn't have actual jets- it had small holes in the bench you sat on that had compressed air coming through as bubbles. You also couldn't turn the bubbles on yourself, and neither could the attendant- it just shifted between on/off.

We met Sylvia, a staff member, shortly after dropping off our luggage early. She was waiting for her bus and helped us get into the city. She greeted us cheerfully every morning at the breakfast bar and gave us great recommendations for our daily excursions. We were able to get some laundry done during our stay, and we had a couple of nice evening meals in the lounge. We were able to park our rental car and get out of the area easily.

The bathroom had an outdated tub with an adjustable shower head. The tile surround grouting was very dark in the corners and could have used some bleach.

Location suited us but might be a little bit far out for some travellers. Swimming pool was nice, food was good and staff polite. Room was clean, shower was strong. We stayed 2 nights and as a place to lay our heads at night it suited our needs

Our room was a bit tired and had what looked like fizzy juice stains on various parts of the carpet. The ladies toilet down on the ground floor obviously weren't checked often as the times I was in they were unflushed, not nice and I had to advise reception that 2 out of the 3 cubicles needed loo roll.

Good location just off the A9 so easy access for travel. large car park and plenty of space. The room was clean and bed comfy. Good quality of linen and bath in the en-suite. large TV and plenty of plug sockets and table for laptop. Friendly staff. Room nicely decorated and comfy arm chair for relaxing and watching tv. Massive bed. Plenty of ambient lighting and Windows that actually open for fresh air.

TV only has Freeview would be good if it had Netflix and YouTube but not a massive issue. Although the bedrooms are well soundproofed it can be a little noisy in the morning with people walking down the corridor and housekeeping sorting other rooms. Again not a massive issue.

Location was excellent and staff were really friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size and the bed was really comfy. The parking was ample and free and the spa facilities were awesome!

The drinks at the bar were pretty expensive. The room was quite outdated which isn’t usually a problem but the decor almost highlighted the (very few) areas which were dusty. On my booking I had requested to have something special in the room for my husband and I as we were having a late valentine and had received an email response saying there would be something but unfortunately it must have been forgotten. Not a complaint as it was something not part of the price of the room, it was just a little disappointing.

The staff were excellent and friendly. The evening meal was great. I would highly recommend the soup. The IPA was also very nice. Easy access to the city centre and on the airport side of the city. A good spot to stay if you don't fancy paying double the price for an airport hotel.

The room was a bit tired and although the window was open there wasn't much air flow. I know that we're having an exceptionally hot spell and didn't expect aircon (we live in North Scotland after all), but it was really hot in the room through the night and the duvet is way too thick for summer.

honestly, was a bit sceptical due to some reviews however - it was fab. I mean, great value for money, two nights stay with breakfast and being able to use all the facilities too.. travelling myself and an 11 year old, we had a great time - used the pool heaps! The room was just what we needed, beds comfortable with plenty space for us. When we first arrived there was an issue with a family of travellers infront of us and I couldn’t fault the staff member, she did a great job getting to the bottom of the problem and showed zero frustration towards the family who could of been nicer to her. We didn’t have much more dealings with staff but everyone was happy and smiled as we walked by. Was worried about noise with it being next to the dual carriage way, however we both slept great. Breakfast was great, just what we needed to start a couple of busy days. Plenty to choose from and great quality! Would definitely stay here again.

It could use a refresh on the decor.. our room carpet had stains all over and the bottom of the bathroom door was badly water damaged. I am aware it’s recently been bought over by Leonardos so i’m sure renovations will soon follow.
