Very friendly warm staff! We were only staying for 1 day to visit family and sightseeing Inverness and Isle of Skye and then the storm hit Dundee , Scotland and we booked an extra 4 days. Lucas at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable! The hotel breakfast is very nice and it is a very clean hotel! I love how they have a Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel. Great food! Looking forward to booking at the Waverley Guesthouse in the near future for when I make trips to Inverness with my two daughters , when we visit family. Thank you to the staff. With love and appreciation Catherine Zanetis and little Marianna and little Bojidara!

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The location is near to the train and bus stations as well as taxi ranks. The room was clean, good size single bed, comfy too. Bathroom was fine too, good shower. No frills, it suited just fine. Breakfast is a choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, waffles, toast, pancakes and real coffee. I was happy with coffee and toast. As a previous review said, "if you are expecting hotel facilities, you'll be disappointed - it's a guest house, not a hotel" (or words to that effect).
Acht, I stayed a Saturday night, it was loud for sure. But can't be surprised due to the location. If it had been good music, instead of yon doof doof doof stuff, it might have made a difference. Doubt it tho. I was knackered tho, so I slept just grand. I think the owners should put a bit of effort into it though. It does need some maintenance - it would make all the difference.

What a fantastic place. Perfectly located in the middle of the city. It had everything you needed. Really good value for the money. Staff were lovely friendly and helpful. They even gave you a free laundry which was awesome.
Having no free view TV wasn't a problem . The TV didn't work but as I watch TV on my tablet and prefer it as I have my headphones. I mentioned it to staff at the end. There was a signal issue which may have just been the location of my room. Not a problem for me.

First, the location. It is very close from the train station. It takes you not even 3 min walking to get there. The manager is a real gentle person and frequently asks whether everything is ok, or not. It was reallt amazing staying there. As a plus, Inverness is really a nice place to visit.
The only fact I have to complain is because I would like to stay there for a couple more days. Had I've known that it would be this amazing, I would have booked at least 3 more days.

All of the staff is super helpful and kind. Always greeting you when you walk in and I got to check in earlier. The location is right outside the train station which is perfect when you have too much luggage. :) The accommodation is simple, but has all basic needs (a bed and a shower). Also, you are provided some coffee and tea in the room. The included breakfast is pleasant too. I would stay here again.
The room is a bit noisy, but that did not bother me too much.

On my arrival early the staff went above and beyond to allow me to access my room early, the things I liked about the property it’s location is brilliant, easy access to all the sightseeing, transport and shopping. My room itself was lovely it had everything required, my bed & pillows was so nice & comfortable, shower was amazing, plenty sockets/usb included, tea/coffee, fab tv what more could you want for a short stay. I enjoyed the breakfast, plenty on offer to start your day the area was clean & tidy. I will definitely stay here again I would like to thank Wendy, George and William for there hospitality and a wonderful stay, I will be back in the future on my travels.
I had read the reviews as I always do, I knew I would be in the city centre so you know there will be pubs/clubs and traffic. Yes, I heard the noise but I hadn’t prepared I could’ve brought my ear plugs or other helpful implements to cancel out any noise, it’s not put me off returning.

A short walk from Inverness station, close to a variety of food options, very warm welcome and comfy room with good bathroom. I was assured up the several flights of stairs with my bag: MUCH appreciated!
One of those lean out-of-the box UK showers in the bathroom: took a while to find the power switch (outside the room!!) outside of the room to power the thing, then ok except no soap dispenser in shower recess. “Included” breakfast served too late for the 7.55 train to London, so helped myself to some fruit (with host’s permission) on the way out.

We expected a no frills service for such a low price of £40 For 2 adults sharing a double room for 1 night . However we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. The room was ensuite and was clean, tidy and comfortable. The continental breakfast which had a wonderful assorted of fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, waffles, tea, coffee, apple juice and orange juice was also included in the price. The location is in the city center and Is very easily located.
The only issues we experienced were that the ensuite was quite small and we found it difficult to move around. However we did not expect for an ensuite to be included in the price of our stay considering how inexpensive it was. Also we were only provided one mid sized towel. I would have expected for two adults sharing a double room there should have been provided two hand towels and two bath towels. However I get the feeling this was probably an oversight and had we needed more towels we would only have had to ask , since the staff seemed only too happy to help.

Facilities were very clean. My friend and I were impressed with how good the room was for the price we got. The room was quiet at night and no noise from the rooms around us or from outside like I would expect in the middle of a town or city. Check out was also very quick and efficient
It was a bit of a maze to find out where my numbered room was intiatiall. Maybe some signs to indicate where the numbered rooms are, including if they're upstairs or not. The wifi was very weak in our room. It intially reached my room on the first night. But by the next day, it couldn't reach the room at all which was number 18 at the top. Maybe would benefit from a wifi booster to reach the rooms at the end.
