Campanile Hull is well located a short walk from Hull Interchange so is convenient for both bus and train travel. Although we were travelling by train there is a large car park for those arriving by car. Neither a plus or minus but useful for travellers to understand is that, unlike some other Campanile hotels, the rooms are in the style of an American motel with access directly from the outside.

Sadly the restaurant is closed but customers are allowed to order in takeaway food and a range of local takeaway menus is provided. However having enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at another Campanile we stayed in recently, i.e. in Washington, Tyne and Wear, the lack of on site catering was a touch disappointing. There was only one bedside table in the room but we were able to improvise a second using a chair and a removable shelf from a cupboard, which we put back in place before leaving.

I do like to stay here, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and this stay was no exception. I made a request of the hotel, which I did understand was completely their discretion as to whether or not it can be made, to which I was delighted by the fact they were able to accommodate it. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable. Location wise, the hotel is pretty central with easy access to major road networks, transport hubs and shopping facilities. Plenty of food facilities and places to have a drink close by and within easy walking distance.

Not a lot I can say here, my experience was good.

I've stayed at this hotel a fair few times in the past. I find it to be perfect and ideally located. The one thing I've never been able to fault is the staff. And particularly, on this occasion too. Checking in was easy, the reception staff were very helpful as they always are. I explained my intentions for when I checked out as my work meant I was in and out at strange unconventional hours. The receptionist did advise me there was 24 hour porter service if I needed it, which I didn't. I also found the house keeping staff to be both friendly and helpful, particularly on the second morning of my stay, when I was able to get a much needed refill of coffee and milk. A very big thank you to that lady.

Absolutely fine, budget hotel, good location, private parking. We just needed a base for the night when I took my son to Uni and they changed the moving in date for him. It was clean enough - people have said it's a bit run down and it is, but it was absolutely fine for the night we needed. I've stayed in worse for more money ;) Having read the reviews that told me there was a shortage of power sockets, we took extension leads

It was all a bit run down as others have said (and as staff have agreed, it probably doesn't need mentioning again) It was a shame they had no restaurant open - but they told us this before we went, so no biggy.

Motel style accomodation, well worth the budget price. Clean and comfortable, a short walk from the bus and train station, but rather distant from the old quarter

The location is a busy junction. Traffic noises aren't a problem in the rooms, but lack of nearby facilities like bars and grocery stores might be.

The fact the area was very quiet, the room was very clean and presentable. The staff was very friendly and the room was very warm and there is additional heating for the bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

It does state online there wasn't any food served in the restaurant, it didn't bother me as family fed me in Hull but if I was to stay again I would like to of eaten at the hotel but Hull City Centre is only 2 minutes away where there is plenty of food shops and restaurants.

individually accessed "motel style" rooms. convenient location on the inner ring road, just a few minutes walk from town center. peaceful. hull has a surprisingly pleasant town center and historic sites, and new waterfront developments. some decent cycle lanes (by uk standards).

a little worn looking..

The hotel is in a very convenient location and though our room overlooked busy Beverly Road, the glazing kept out most of the noise and the trees blocked out the sight of the traffic. The man who checked us in was really nice and helpful. Very comfy big bed. Clean bathroom. Good value for money. I'd stay again

There was only one plug socket in the room which is where the tv is plugged into and we both needed to charge our phones. The place was very clean apart from a big line of blood up the wall which looked like it had come from a drug addict injecting next to it. The blood was hard to spot as the trees blocked out a lot of light - though I'm not complaining about the trees, they were nice and blocked out noise and the sight of traffic - and the lighting isn't very bright though that's not really a negative, and the bedside lamps were nice and bright. Also we were only given one key to the room which meant one of us was locked out for a while as we were doing different things during the day, so could do with two keys.

Within easy walking distance of Hull Centre. Good value, especially important with the cost of living crisis. Bathroom facilities good - shower worked well. Window shutter useful to block out traffic.

Needed a repair to the bathroom door. Mattress was soft - well worn springs. One side of bed very close to wall - banged my head a couple of times when getting up!

The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and shower was nice. Hair dryer was good, had good amount of room for 2 people.

The wasn't any spoons only little wooden sticks. The people next door were noisy around 2AM, they were being loud and shouting which kept us awake at one point. But that wasn't the hotels fault.
