Location was good the room was nice and clean and signs of sanitisation friendly staff. It was a lovely place to stay.

The breakfast not as advertised no yoghurt no pastries not much choice of cereal. Cooked breakfast was ok. We got changed hotels at the last minute and were not made aware of the price increase it was only £5 more but still more and a surprise at the time.

Nice spacious room. Everything very clean and an amazing shower.

My colleagues went ahead but couldn't go to their rooms until I arrived and paid in full. This caused some chaos and anxiety.

The breakfast was very nice. The staff were really helpfull.

The evening meal. The starter Soup was disgusting and I was unable to eat it. Main Turkey and mushroom pie, the pastry was quite hard and the filling was tasteless. Potatoes were over cooked and burnt, the cauliflower had been reheated and wasn't very nice. Dessert, Gateau and Ice cream was really nice.

it wasn’t the hotel I had originally booked. Britannia hotels cancelled TWO different hotels at the last minute that had booked this summer. they are NOT a trustworthy company.

Smelly bathroom drains and sink in several rooms.

Nothing. We left after one night, it was horrendous.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly, sockets hanging off the walls and I cannot accurately describe how awful the beds were. I’m not terribly fussy about mattresses but it took me hours to get to sleep and I woke up in pain. Very loud banging in the middle of the night (god knows what from). Man walking around reception high as a kite stinking of marijuana. A regular customer parked his van in the only disabled spot, receptionist called him to ask him to move as he knew he had done it and then tried to explain that he had had his van broken in to and wanted it next to the cameras?! Just absolutely awful. We left after one night as we couldn’t care to stay there any longer. Neither my mother or I are very fussy, we’ve stayed in some pretty budget hotels which have been fine but this is rank - avoid.

The hotel we ended up in was adequate

Several months after booking our booking was cancelled and we were moved to an alternative hotel many miles from our original booking. We had no choice but to accept this as there was a major event on in Leeds that weekend and everything was full by that time.
