They made the room special for my partners birthday that we were celebrating whilst there, staff very friendly and the gym and pool was great! Quite busy all the time so allow extra time when going as a lot of people go which shows how great the quality is! The hotel is very modern and everything is up-to-date and clean which is a great bonus.

The only issue we had was there are no glasses in the bathroom and no herbal tea in the room but we managed to get some tea from reception, this is more a preference than a complaint though. The check in is all done yourself on a device, this is great however it feels a little impersonal, the hotel itself is very modern and you are left to do a lot yourself which isn't an issue but when you are paying between £80-100 a night a more personal touch would be appreciated.

The staff are so friendly and chatty. The room was lovely and relaxing 😌 The gym was lovely and calming and lovely air conditioning. Wished I'd have gone for a swim 🏊‍♂️ but didn't unfortunately 😕 The corridors smelt lovely 😍 The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous and again the staff so lovely. Didn't feel intimidated at all been on my own as my daughter could not make it Lovely lovely stay.

I ordered room the katsu chicken 🐔 Unfortunately I was unable to eat the chicken as it was so chewy and hard 😕 I was starving so ate some rice and sauce. I tried to call the restaurant and reception several times but no answer. It was after 9 and in my pjs so didn't want to go downstairs to complain plus there was a big wedding on and apart from that the restaurant was really busy and loud 🙃 as I had passed by it earlier to check it out. The next morning after gym and breakfast I told reception to which she contacted the lady in charge and I explained the situation to her to which she said she will tell her manager to give me a full refund of the food for £16.50 and apologized the lady was so lovely as were everyone else who worked there.

Room very comfortable and clean. Room was fairly big and airy. Self check in at the computer and formatted your own key card. Received an email with confirmation of your room number which was a good idea as no other way to know which room you are in.

The full English breakfast was a bit basic. The bacon was streaky bacon which is not my favourite and the scrambled eggs were sliceable rather than slightly firm or runny. No black pudding or fried bread available. Had to request a fried or poached egg to be cooked. Shower was over the bath but the width of the bath was only small and the base wasn't flat so very slippy when wet. Had to be very careful getting in and out not to slip and fall.

The whole place is impressive, from the moment you walk in the door. It is nicely presented and clean everywhere, the room was clean, comfortable and had aircon. We ate at the restaurant on the 1st night and the food was exceptional despite being extremely busy and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was great too.

I personally don't like the electronic check in/out, I much prefer a person. My desert was forgotten but not the end of the world!

Modern room with all mod cons, hairdryer, ironing board, really big shower, nice and clean, air con. Comfy bed. Super value! Staff really friendly, especially Daz in the restaurant. Food was proper beaut in there too! Nice atmosphere. Went in the jacuzzi - all clean and good. Starbucks in there too where we got breakfast.

One older lady in Starbucks was a bit abrupt. The younger one was lovely. Sorry if seems ageist, not sure how else to describe.

Staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful, The room was spotless, the bed was really comfy, like the fact there was a starbucks in the hotel. It's a Great looking pool. and gym Sadly, we were unable to use it due to the fire alarm issues.

Being woke up at 9 am by a fire alarm, having to go outside not just once, then go back into the hotel to then have it go off again, and then again It's definitely a wedding anniversary to remember when people ask what we did, stood outside half dressed 🤣🤣

After very hard night I stayed in Village Hotel Leeds North not South. The lovely reception manager without any problem exchanged my booking in the system as my situation was bad. The very nice receptionist provided high standard customer service/customer support and helped me how much he could in the middle of night, even when I was not a hotel guest. I can recommend this hotels to anyone as Village Hotels are hotels which represent high quality service. Hotel rooms are modern, safe and comfortable. If you are searching for hotel in Leeds definitely you should choose Village Hotel!!!

Bar staff were really pleasant and offered to bring our drinks to the table when ready rather than make us stand and wait, just a minor detail but a credit to your team!

Spot lights above the bed pointing directly at the bed really bright and couldn't turn them off without it turning the lamp in the corner off too which then made the room too dark, room number 302 try it, minor issue really but independent switch for the lamp would of been perfect.

Nice and comfortable room

self check-in but no staff about. If you had a problem, had to ask twice for someone to help. there are no USB charging points in the bedroom to charge your phone and iPad etc. The only one they had were at the bar in the restaurant, but they were at the counter. See you had to sit at the bar if you wanted to use them or leave your phone on attended, which was very bizarre. It’s 2022 an even hotels like Britannia have USB sockets in the room to use. Also there was no electric car charging points which is quite disappointing as again Britannia hotels and Travelodge is have them available as 40% of all new cars now electric!!!

It was clean and the receptionist (Scandinavian I think ) was amazing. She was helpful and made out stay more bearable as we were going to a funeral.!

Not sure on the high single beds . Not wide enough. The duvet smelt of stale cigarette smoke and needs a wash to get rid of that (room 118) there were cigarettes thrown onto the roof outside out window. So sorry to say all this but feedback is good .
