Large basic room with good bathroom. Very clean. Has a kettle and some coffee sachets Also a fan which was welcome. Tea bags were available in communal kitchen. Communal sitting room good as my husband wakes early and was able to sit without disturbing me. Easy key drop check out

The wifi was v poor and not useable but we were in Rm 1 which I suspect was furthest from router. Ok in communal area. Only 1 set of towels between 2 but I couldn't be bothered to go chasing more - it was hottest day of year. Only 3 parking spaces but safer to park in street behind hotel as Coop downstairs is busy and tight car park. Quite noisy as on main road but drowned out by fan! Tolerable

The room was nice and a decent size, the towel was big, as was the shower. The area is quite an affluent/respectable area, so quite safe, and there is a nice shopping area just 5 minutes walk away (bars/cafes/restaurants)

There is a kettle, but not tea/coffee/mugs etc, so bring your own. There is only limited parking, but there is lots of safe parking on the roads behind. My room only had one towel which was odd (no hand towel or floor mat for the shower. But if it really bothered me I could've asked). None of these are really negative, just things to know about in advance

Nice, clean modern rooms and good basic facilities - good shower, wardrobe, hangers, iron, coffee. Absolutely brilliant is the Co-op literally same building and smart burger restaurant too - so convenient. Stoneygate a really nice leafy part of Leicester - great for Clarendon Park and other student areas. Great price for all that.

Parking would be good - frustratingly ambiguous in that initially says parking available but once booked - then says no parking! Turns out there are three places - but appear to be taken by staff! All that said, easy to park in next street as it turns out. WiFi is non-existant despite it being listed - cannot connect or even see what is being offered.

Some rooms could do with secondary glazing as there is a busy road at the front..

100% Perfect!!! It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff member named Costa is a gem of a person as he was amazingly friendly, very professional and so incredibly helpful because he was always at hand to look after my every need no matter how big or small. Free WiFi worked flawlessly. Room was very clean with all amenities you may need. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable and pillows were perfect for sleeping as I slept like a baby. Spotless batroom plus the rainfall shower provided ample water to wash away suds, enough pressure so that the shower was invigorating and at the right temperature – not too hot or too cold. I would highly recommend this hotel for both buisness or pleasure trips and I'm eagerly looking forward to returning in the near future.

Everything was 100% perfect.

Clean, warm, comfortable, secure, welcoming. Modern and well equipped. Quiet but convenient location. Windows that actually open more than an inch! Complimentary self service breakfast. And a lounge/kitchen if you want to cook an evening meal yourself.

The view of my particular room was over the roof of the Coop below - but as a work traveller, it really didn’t bother me. Parking immediately outside the hotel is limited - but able to park short term in CoOp car park (below) to drop bags and settle in for an hour, then park in the next street with no problem. (free)

Booked for one Saturday night. Stayed in a room on the top floor. Large room, comfy bed (this was a bonus - as I have artificial hips a decent mattress is always a bonus or I don't get any sleep). Although the bedroom faced a side road, it was peaceful enough with the window open. Large clean bathroom, with a large shower & toiletries. The Kitchen/Lounge area is nicely decorated & well equipped. It was a bonus to find we could make toast & have cereals, get coffee /tea etc, as I thought my booking was room only, so many thanks. Being able to collect the key, before our check-in time of 2pm, helped enormously, as we could get into the hotel with ease after a hectic day out, later that evening. I'd booked this hotel as it was close to the racecourse (about a 20/30 minute walk, depending on your speed) & had a good rating & pictures. We were not disappointed & would book here again if the need arises.

No dislikes. The bedroom was a bit too warm for my partner, so possibly air con might be something to consider for the future.

Easy check in. A simple but spacious room with attractive wood flooring. The double bed had fresh, clean linen, a light warm duvet cover and comfortable pillows. There were tea and coffee making facilities. The modern bathroom had a rainfall shower and hose and plenty of hot water. Everything was sparkling clean. The self service breakfast with toast, preserves, good butter and cereals was generous.There was a very good coffee machine. The staff were helpful and efficient, Our young grand-daughter visiting briefly was welcomed with a friendly smile. Though we did not need them there were refrigerators, microwaves and an oven in a large kitchen, and abundant crockery enabling a full meal to be cooked. We felt very relaxed in the Gable Aparthotel.

Little to say here. For us the mattress on the bed was a little too soft. Also there was a little traffic noise in the evening when the window was open. But this was largely shut out when the window was closed. We enjoyed our stay.

I've stayed before and it was great. I used to live around the corner & shop at the Co Op. Very limited parking, but you can park on surrounding Roads. You can cook your own food, the Fridge is full of everything that you want for breakfast 24 HRS! The Cleaners are fantastic - don't forget to leave a tip!

I couldn't make my trip back to stay for an event as I was poorly. It was too late to cancel as id missed the first night.

It was a wonderful room, spacious, clean, and the bed was amazing. There were plenty of towels provided, including a spare bedsheet. It had an ironing board as well as hairdryer. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee bits. They had a strong shower. I loved how they had a communal kitchen and seating area, and you could sit and have breakfast that they provided. There was a bus stop across the road, that would take you directly into town. Incredibly convenient. Plus the Uber journey wasn't that expensive either. An overall wonderful experience that I hope to return to.

A very minor inconvenience happened when I was using the sink plug, it got stuck. I told a member of staff about it, and it was fixed right away.
