Great little pub stay, super quiet even on a Friday evening so a very peaceful night! The room was perfect for a night before work when I didn't want to stay in the noisy city centre and the staff were lovely, I had to call ahead as I was going to miss the check in cut off as trains were delayed but it wasn't an issue and they were super helpful with local knowledge when I did arrive

The room was a little shabby, a few knocks in the wall and dated beds/headboards/bedspreads but it was well worth the money!

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal for what we wanted, and links to Leicester city were great. The room was simple but comfortable and clean, with teas/coffees/biscuits etc and kettle provided.

Shower was a bit slippery underfoot (it was wet-room style with a sloped floor to the drain) when wet. My balance isn't fantastic so felt a bit uneasy using it, but was alright once I was standing in there.

The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed the pub was welcoming and so were the locals. The staff are all polite and friendly didnt have anything from food truck but we will be staying again so will try it at a later date. Would recommend to all great value for money. Also had somewhere to park our cycles.

The location was great. The staff at the premises were lovely. Room serviced each day. Very quiet.

The room is a little tired and could do with a little update. This and new beds/ towels would make it totally top notch but for a few nights it was excellent for us.

Room I was given was better than was expecting from looking on the website and in a purpose built chalet block seperate to the Pub, was of good size with everything I was wanting for one night stay and would be ideal for a longer stay.

11 am checkout be nice bed very chreeky disappointed pub shut when we returned from town but understand as very quiet in town and it was a wednesday

Location. Free car park. Attached, but separate, to the pub. En suite facilities-toilet, wash basin and shower. Tv. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate

Lack of catering. One teaspoon and one saucer but 2 people and 2 cups

Booked for my parents, they said the facilties were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly

The radiator was extremely hot even on the lowest setting, and so the room was uncomfortably hot upon waking up

Lady and guy behind the bar were very polite and accommodating. Made us feel very welcome. Upon saying we were heading into leicester for a show the gentleman said he would sort us a cab and that's what he did. Cheaper than the quote i had from local company and Uber. The room definitely exceeded our expectations. Superb.

Great pub with rooms. I was a very late arrival. Landlord gave wonderful welcome and I enjoyed a very convivial evening. Excellent parking. Perfectly adequate room, decent shower. Good tea tray. Will use again if in the area.
