The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff, both at the hotel and at the adjacent restaurant, which was an American diner-style eatery. The accommodation cost was very reasonable - and guests also get a 20% reduction on their restaurant bill. There is also plenty of free parking.

My initial reaction on arrival was that the exterior looked "tired" and I wondered if I had made a mistake in booking it. But this concern disappeared when I found that, fortunately, the interior was faultless and the welcome was genuine. The hotel is situated just off a roundabout on the ring-road and would not be a good location for anyone who did not have a car, as it is not within easy walking distance of Lincoln's main attractions. However, it was okay for me since I did have my car and could get around without difficulty.

Not sure how old the property is but it was very clean and well maintained. No dirty carpets, chipped furniture and grubby fittings. Good price, plenty of free parking (although you have to register since the car park is managed by a separate company) and easy to find. Room was large and well equipped. Price wise I guess it competes with Travelodge type accommodation but in my view was much better value. For example rooms had iron/ironing board, hair drier and real drawers to put things in!

No facilities, small bar but not a place for a cosy drink, a bit antiseptic in white and chrome. Restaurant and bar owned by same company on site but in separate building, serving ribs and burgers style menu. If you don’t fancy that then it’s a drive to the nearest pub and quite a long drive to central Lincoln restaurants.

The property was very compact and cozy, no long hallways to walk down for the room, (luckily ours was close to the entrance anyway) everything was clean and well laid out. Only a short walk to the restaurant too which was very convenient. Probably the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on too (we stayed in the superior room).

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t very strong at all and that’s really the only problem we found there to be. Besides that, our stay was amazing!

The room was as good as places I have stayed locally at double the price, and was perfectly adequate for my needs. Having dining facilities on the doorstep was convenient, as was the discount offered on the cost of dining due to staying at the hotel.

I had no problems with the room, staff and parking at Damon's. The only slight annoyance was that I had not realised that Japanese cuisine was no longer available (it suggested it was online, as indeed does advertising on the property walls when I arrived). I also found that certain items specified on the menu were not provided as described

We absolutely loved our stay, welcoming 2024 in such a beautiful hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and me and my partner would definitely stay here again staff were amazing.

We had a light switch that was broken but we spoke to receptionist as soon as we saw it on the day of our arrival. Also the night of welcoming 2024 in together we had a very loud knock twice at our door from what looked as to be a security asking if we’d keep the noise down. Me and my partner wasn’t loud at all and the TV was only on 26 due to watching fireworks and the news welcoming 2024 with music. Below our rooms we could hear every movement from the the people that was in the hot tub rooms but nothing was said to them, me and my partner was also woken up at 6:50 from the people below us making too much noise.

When we turned up to Damon's, it was stated we had to pay a 150 deposit before staying. This is not stated on the email when booked or on here from what I can see. But otherwise, the lady on reception was pleasant and showed us around the room and how to turn the hot tub on etc. Its a lovely room, comfy bed.

signs stating you will be charge for breaking or stealing cups and taking the soap. why would you want to steal a plastic cup or the soap? 200 charge if theres issues from you wearing fake tan or perfumes in the hot tub. The hot tub also had a really strong smell of chlorine so I assume isnt cleaned out as much as it should be & just topped up with chlorine. There are signs stating you cant get in the hot tub with perfumes fake tan etc and £200 fine if you do, in which also leads me to wonder how often the hot tub is cleaned out, as this shouldnt matter if its getting cleaned each time neither.

This was my second visit to Damon's the rooms are good, shower was good, bed was a little uncomfortable this time, it was excellent last time.

The hotel seemed to get a little confused, I stayed for two nights but on the morning of the second day I got a phone call asking why I hadn't checked in the previous evening. When I told them I had and gave them my room number they seemed very surprised. When I got back to the room that evening I was surprised to find it exactly as I had left it, even the TV was still on. So my room had not been serviced. To their credit they apologised and arranged a free breakfast for me. Not a huge problem, but worth a mention.

The room was clean, a very comfortable bed and the staff were very friendly. Its location is great for main road links to Lincoln. Free WiFi and tea & coffee available. (Little disappointed with UHT milk)

We thought the restaurant prices were expensive so decided to eat elsewhere although we noticed the car park was full between 5-6.30pm so if you do want to visit there I'd suggest booking a table. The room was very warm, we had the window wide open and the smallest fan to try help but our 1st night was quite uncomfortable because it was so warm in the room. We would have appreciated a little fridge as we bought milk and the bathroom sink wouldn't hold cold water for us to keep it cold which was disappointing as UHT milk isn't very nice.

It’s very convenient for the festival we go to each year

Shower didn’t work properly the switch valve from tap to shower head didn’t work properly so shower was rubbish, with most of the water still coming from the tap. Also, and I mentioned this last year amongst many, MANY other guests- the wall sockets are too near the counter top and thus are useless for people to use any appliances they bring with them as all are bought nowadays with a fused plug on. JUST TURN THE SOCKET FITTINGS UPSIDE DOWN FOR GODS SAKE! Its not an expensive job and would save all the ratings you get that are not as high as they could be because this is a real bugbear for people.

When we arrived at the hotel i thought it was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. What struck me was how the hotel was set out with the main emtrance as you walk in to the property and then the rooms to each side of the reception. The room was a lot bigger thatn i anticipated and decorated to a high standard and very tastefully decorated , so that it suited everyones needs. The room had been carefully thought out as there was towels provided, plus an iron and iorning boad in each room plus an additional extra a fan. So that was a nice touch. The bed was very comforatble and made very neatly as you could see care had been taken to make it look comfy and presentable. There were enough plugs around the room so you did not lack any if you had a lot of electrical items with you. The bathroom was beautiful it actually remonded me of being at home in my own property the only difference is i do not have a shower cubicle. so it was a leasure to use the showwer when i finally worked out how to use it. I only found one major negative regarding the hotel but I would stayin their chain of hotels again as the overal ecperience was amaxing with all the facilities that were on offer with the room.

The only negative I had with the room is that there were not enough milk sachets for the teas and coffees. The only other negative thing was, when i looked in the shower at the vent for the shower it was very dirty where it had not been cleaned for months and there was a build up from constant use. That was my only negative point about the room.
