The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff, both at the hotel and at the adjacent restaurant, which was an American diner-style eatery. The accommodation cost was very reasonable - and guests also get a 20% reduction on their restaurant bill. There is also plenty of free parking.

My initial reaction on arrival was that the exterior looked "tired" and I wondered if I had made a mistake in booking it. But this concern disappeared when I found that, fortunately, the interior was faultless and the welcome was genuine. The hotel is situated just off a roundabout on the ring-road and would not be a good location for anyone who did not have a car, as it is not within easy walking distance of Lincoln's main attractions. However, it was okay for me since I did have my car and could get around without difficulty.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The shower was not working properly (shower head would not remain upright) so we informed reception. Amazingly when we came back to the hotel in the afternoon after visiting the International Bomber Command Centre, the shower was fixed. There is an American Diner on the same site as the hotel, which serve pancakes, burgers, full English breakfast etc. The staff are very welcoming & friendly. There is a petrol station nearby. The hotel is situated a short drive from some of the local attractions. Lots of free parking, which is a bonus!

The sound of the road noise as the road runs straight past the hotel. We had to close the window, which made the room feel rather warm.

Not sure how old the property is but it was very clean and well maintained. No dirty carpets, chipped furniture and grubby fittings. Good price, plenty of free parking (although you have to register since the car park is managed by a separate company) and easy to find. Room was large and well equipped. Price wise I guess it competes with Travelodge type accommodation but in my view was much better value. For example rooms had iron/ironing board, hair drier and real drawers to put things in!

No facilities, small bar but not a place for a cosy drink, a bit antiseptic in white and chrome. Restaurant and bar owned by same company on site but in separate building, serving ribs and burgers style menu. If you don’t fancy that then it’s a drive to the nearest pub and quite a long drive to central Lincoln restaurants.

I really enjoyed the luxury of the Victorian bath and the thoughtful inclusion of Prosecco, enhancing the overall indulgence of my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep. The well-maintained exterior and clean, inviting common areas, along with remarkably kind restaurant staff who catered attentively to our needs, contributed to a delightful experience. Note: All photos were taken at the end of our stay. Upon check-in, all rooms were impeccable.

The lack of air conditioning on the accommodation floors was noticeable and detracted slightly from the comfort of our room. The live entertainment in the restaurant was too loud, which was somewhat disruptive. Additionally, we encountered issues with the accessible shower in our companion’s room, which tended to flood.

The property was very compact and cozy, no long hallways to walk down for the room, (luckily ours was close to the entrance anyway) everything was clean and well laid out. Only a short walk to the restaurant too which was very convenient. Probably the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on too (we stayed in the superior room).

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t very strong at all and that’s really the only problem we found there to be. Besides that, our stay was amazing!

The hotel was easy to find and very convenient for the area we were visiting, situated in a quiet area, with a fuel station just across the hotel car park. The rooms were perfect, everything was as we wanted it to be, fantastic value for our short stay. Both the breakfast and evening meals were outstanding in value, quality and presentation, all the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful, we could not ask for more. Thankyou and well done to all the staff.

We can't think of anything negative at all...

The room was as good as places I have stayed locally at double the price, and was perfectly adequate for my needs. Having dining facilities on the doorstep was convenient, as was the discount offered on the cost of dining due to staying at the hotel.

I had no problems with the room, staff and parking at Damon's. The only slight annoyance was that I had not realised that Japanese cuisine was no longer available (it suggested it was online, as indeed does advertising on the property walls when I arrived). I also found that certain items specified on the menu were not provided as described

We absolutely loved our stay, welcoming 2024 in such a beautiful hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and me and my partner would definitely stay here again staff were amazing.

We had a light switch that was broken but we spoke to receptionist as soon as we saw it on the day of our arrival. Also the night of welcoming 2024 in together we had a very loud knock twice at our door from what looked as to be a security asking if we’d keep the noise down. Me and my partner wasn’t loud at all and the TV was only on 26 due to watching fireworks and the news welcoming 2024 with music. Below our rooms we could hear every movement from the the people that was in the hot tub rooms but nothing was said to them, me and my partner was also woken up at 6:50 from the people below us making too much noise.

Had it's own car park with no charges. The room was a good size and serviced every day. The staff were helpful and friendly.. There was a bus stop nearby so I was able to leave the car and catch the bus into town if I wanted too.

The hotel is adjacent to a busy main road. On my stay the weather was unbearably hot but couldn't leave the window open at night as the noise from the passing traffic kept me awake. Probably not so bad on the other side of the hotel.

The Damon’s Hotel/Motel receptionist was a pleasure to meet and was very helpful. This motel is in an excellent location. Our room was comfortable and a good size and had a desk fan which was very helpful. The bathroom was a good size.

I think improving the signage would help future customers find the reception. It’s not easy when approaching from Doddington to see the motel from the road, as the petrol station obscures the building. From the car park it’s unclear were reception is located.
