The location was wonderful, very quiet and located in a luverly spot on the side of the river. The room was spacious and the facilities were excellent (four types of shower in the bathroom). Evening meal was great with a good choice on the menu. Service was excellent. Only let down was breakfast. There was a very good choice on the menu and they where willing to add items when requested. I do like fruit and yogurt at breakfast time and unfortunately this was not available. On the whole an enjoyable couple of nights and reasonable. The living accommodation was situated away from the restaurant area and luckily I had good weather so there was not a problem, may be if it had been traditional English weather.
No fruit or yogurt for breakfast

Location was perfect for our stay. The Breakfast could have more choice, i.e offer the choice of Fruit and Yogurt. Main meals in the restaurant were excellent.
As our last stay we had issues with parking for the disabled spot and i know this is not something that the hotel can control the attitudes of other guests. We came back in late one evening and the disabled spot was taken but the parking of other guest was terrible so two spaces were lost. As my wife is disabled i was getting her out of the car at the entrance door when a lady who had taken up two spaces came and checked her car door. I asked her very politely if she could park her in the marked lines, unfortunately she told me in no uncertain terms that her car was perfectly ok where it was and she did not care whether my wife was disabled or not.

Lovely location on river bank. Nice eating areas both inside and out. The outside eating area has been re planted and furnished very nicely to fit in with the environment. The annex opposite the Pyewipe premise has very spacious comfortable rooms. I would suggest wheelchairs users would struggle on narrow corridors but be ok within the lower floor bedrooms which have good space around the beds. All staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Food menu is a little limited but all produced well, timely and tasty.
We stayed for 4 days this time around and expected that the lavatory paper would be replenished on our third day, but sadly this did not happen. We ran out by the fourth morning which is tricky with hay fever. The bathroom walls were full of runs from condensation so it looked a little unloved. This could have been attended to between different guests visits. The in-room information booklets need updating. We chose cocktails for the evening meal only to find we could not have them as the drinks menu had been updated.

We were very happy with our choice of The Pyewipe for a two night stay whilst visiting family locally. We stayed there last year and were pleased to be able to return again this year. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was big and comfortable and the shower was great. The wifi worked well. There is plenty of parking. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, which was good and served with a smile. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again and hopefully next time will be able to do a walk along the canal.
We didn’t have breakfast as there was no cheaper continental option.

Nice room, good size, comfy bed and overall clean, especially the important parts like sheets, towels etc. Was a little warm at first but we opened up the windows and turned the provided fan on for a while. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were are friendly. Hopefully stay again next year!
There were cobwebs and spiders around the edges of the ceiling that could've done with being hoovered up. Also pretty sure our duvet cover had been put on inside out, but it seemed clean so that wasn't really an issue. Some stains here and there on the carpet too.

Lovely location. Pleasant room which was perfectly adequate for one night. Spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful and professional and very kindly allowed into our room 30 minutes early. Really good breakfast, I would definitely recommend and return if visiting Lincoln.
Not really a dislike, We had an evening meal in the pub. The sea bass from the specials board was quite expensive for what was delivered on the plate. £18.95 for one fillet, 17 baby new potatoes and 6 tender stem broccoli. The fish was well cooked and tasted delicious, but there was very little of it.

The breakfast and dinner were very good, served very hot, and good portions. The location by the canal is lovely, and you can walk along the towpath into Lincoln, though we did not do that. Our twin room was comfortable and large, with good views of fields. We could not hear the busy road noise from the dual carriageways inside the pub or our bedroom.
Beware drivers with low slung cars. The unmarked speedbumps on the single lane road from the dual carriageway to the Pyewipe Inn are very high, with lots of scrapes on show on top of them! I do think the Pyewipe owners should do something about them. Also, the dual carriageways nearby are busy and quite noisy.

Excellent country pub in lovely grounds, alonhside the canal. Extensive choice & delicious food. Only 30 minute beautiful canalside walk into Lincoln Town centre & a walk to a boating marina in opposite direction. Staff very friendly. Seperate accommodation block away from pub building so quiet. This is our 3rd visit. We love it.
All brilliant. Only 1 slight issue was that no rise & fall shower fitting in our room. Just static overhead shower rose & no shower cap supplied, so take one with you ladies to avoid getting hair wet.

The hotel / pub has an idyllic location near the canal. You do need a car to get there and it’s a bit of a drive back to Lincoln. Saying that the room was a good size, comfy bed and nice and quiet. The restaurant was the surprise as the food was excellent. Better than you might find at 9/10 pub restaurants. Great place. Also good parking for a motorbike. The staff were also a delight.
The signage at the end of the track is a bit jaded and hard to see in the gloaming. Also my sat nav tried to take me down an even smaller track.

The location is a 30min walk to Lincoln. Being in the pub grounds was really nice for food, drinks etc. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Beautiful decor in the room and the shower was amazing!
The rooms were so hot! A fan was provided but wasn't adequate to cool the room on a hot weekend so sleep was affected. There was a strange smell of damp on the landing at the top of the stairs when going to our room. The noise from the marquees on Saturday night was really loud although it did end about 12.30am.
