We liked room #30 because it was quiet and a little removed from the other rooms. We loved the exterior door to the fire escape - we could let lots of fresh air in. Antonio at the front desk was really great! Nice choices for breakfast and the kitchen staff was so great.

The room was small but that's probably normal for London's older buildings. The breakfast could have used a little more variety; after four days it was good but a bit boring. Biggest problem was the hot water in room 30. First day it was ok. Little or no hot water next three days. They got it fixed while we had breakfast day 2. Day 4 I took a cold shower. My wife was offered a working shower in another room where the guests had just checked out. That worked but kind of creepy. Hope it's finally all fixed.

The service is excellent. Right from the front desk to the housekeeping. Extremely pleasant and courteous. Entire team lead by Ms Aparna were very good. The cold water in the reception was an added bonus,considering that London is so warm at the moment. They were kind enough to accept a parcel for me, delivered way before our arrival date and store our luggage since we had to catch a flight later. The air conditioning in the room was a big plus point.

The size of the room is too small even by London standards. We took a family room with two beds and there is absolutely no place to put your suitcases if you want to access your cupboards. Very very tight.

I travelled to London from New York for a very personal and tough reason. I met family there from Australia. And it could not have been more extenuating circumstances. Arpana the manager of the Blandford Hotel and the rest of the staff are nothing short of Guardian Angels and the hotel itself is nothing short of a perfect reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. I can not say enough about this hotel and its staff and the care and authentic desire they have for your stay, whatever the reason to be unforgettable.

I think Arpana should be made more than manager if that is possible. I have travelled around the world for business and for pleasure for a long time. I am in my 50's. A successful career woman. And I will never forget the professionalism and at the same time perfect attention to detail that I witnessed in this employee. Blandford ownership is doing something very right with their hires and I think Arpana should be empowered to do more. She is a gift.

What a little Gem situated just off of Baker Street and with such friendly helpful staff. Manager Aparna was very welcoming and Amelia went out of her way to help us with our luggage! I noticed that some people commented that rooms were a bit small but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Not only were the rooms a reasonable size but they had dressing table with mirror and hairdryer, USB points and sockets each side of bed, an easily usable safe, long mirror and great overhead shower in the en suite. The air conditioning was also so welcome too. We visited London when temperatures were over 30 deg and was such a relief to walk into the wonderfully cool reception and hotel!! I will definitely stay here again 🙂

Great location!

Breakfast was served 7am to 730am which was too restrictive, especially for tourists. Although breakfast was included in our package, we never ate it as it was served way too early for us!

excellent location, quiet hotel, great staff friendly and helpful, especially Irina at the reception such a sweet person to help me with my kids and made sure we get a room on the first floor due to my son’s condition. very comfortable beds and rooms. we were also greeted by the hotel manager Aparna on our check out lovely host and helpful lady thank you 🙏🏻

the bathroom was very cold due to the fire exit, maybe some additional heating could be placed, it was really cold to step on the floor early in the morning or late at night, and definitely a minibar and slippers would be good to have in the room in a 4 star hotel

The asian man on reception the afternoon I arrived, couldnt care less. He was actually unhelpful. Didn't know where Marylebone High street was( it's close to hotel) and didnt offer to look it up. By contrast the following morning there was a French? Italian man ? perhaps on reception who was so kind and helpful.he provided good information on a locaion i wanted to find, googled it and advised the best way to get there. When I went back for my luggage after lunch, he phoned taxi for me, went out to meet it and carried by bags into the taxi.

The location of this hotel is excellent 👌 It's right next to Baker Street, around the corner from Madam Tussauds, the tube is a stones throw away connecting you to the rest of the city, and Oxford Street for shopping is a 25 minute walk away if you fancy the exercise. There are plenty of eateries nearby to choose from to suit all budgets. Considering the hotel is near all the hustle and bustle of the city, it was on a nice quiet street, perfect for rest and relaxation. The hotel manager was very warm, welcoming, and friendly, making our stay even more pleasant. The room itself was good, very clean and tidy, and a comfy bed. We were on the ground floor next to the front of the hotel and near the lift, but we didn't hear a thing all night. Air conditioning in the room too, which was good as the weekend was a hot one!! I would stay here again

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are the most pleasant and helpful and a credit to the hotel. They go above and beyond. The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Madam Tussaud’s. The surrounding area felt safe. The only negative is we wished we’d stayed longer! We would without hesitation recommend this hotel, it is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and reasonably priced in London. We will definitely be going back there again. P.s. to the owner of the hotel, please give your staff a bonus/pay rise as good staff are so hard to come by. Mr and Mrs Wheatley.

I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel.

The hotel is very nicely located, close to transportation, Marylebone High Street and Oxford Street. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff is very nice and helpful. For the price, although I had a room in the lower ground floor (single room), I think it is a very good mix for central London and I would definitely go again.

My room was in the lower ground floor, so I had absolutely no view but it was quiet (despite the kitchen next door). You can't have it all I guess. Cleanliness, comfort, quiet and location are more important to me, so for the price, I was happy.
