This is our 2nd stay at Chelsea House and its perfect for our getaways to London, 5 min walk from Earls Court Station, we had L3 room this time top floor on the back, had everything we needed, quiet, comfy bed, coffee & tea, hairdryer, shower, breakfast is brilliant! Something for everyone! Staff are excellent, and il hold the receptionist to my half price stay next time i book haha x
I think one of the ceiling lightbulbs was out but forgot to mention it, it was just a bit dark when getting ready near the wall mirror x

Very good location, the staff were very friendly, although we arrived at 10.00 a.m. and check-in was not possible until 3.00 p.m., as is usually the case, we were checked in, which we found very pleasant. The breakfast offered is of course not that of a wellness hotel, but it more than exceeded our expectations and is also not offered in most hotels. The price-performance ratio is more than excellent. The bathroom and toilet were relatively new and very clean. Highly recommended and we hope to get a room again on our next stay in London.
If there is anything to criticize at all, it is the fact that you can only have breakfast on Sunday after 8:00 am. Since we, like many others, left on Sunday, we could not have breakfast because we would have missed our flight. The option to have breakfast from 7:00 a.m. would have been more hospitable. That's why I deduct one point from the maximum score and award 9 points.

Our room was as pictured, with renovated bathroom. Great temperature and pressure in shower, fairly comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location, took 23 mins to get to Southfields station to attend Wimbledon, and also on the Piccadilly line to Heathrow or central London. Less than 5 min walk to supermarket, tube and restaurants. Nice hot coffee in a cute breakfast room.
Walls definitely need a paint job throughout. As other reviews mentioned… lots of road noise on the front. Fairly quiet on the back (we had two rooms!) Breakfast was only alright. cereals, breads (no gluten-free available…suggestion…you can keep some in the freezer so it doesn’t go bad:), cheese and ham slices. No yogurt or eggs.

Great location. Room very comfortable. Clean. And fairly spacious. Breakfast was basic but plentiful and actually lots of choice. Toast croissants ham cheese boiled eggs juice. Fruit. Staff very friendly.
Only one small comment. Bathroom window in basement couldn’t be locked. If I had been alone I might have been concerned. It would be great to get a lock on the window, because it was actually quite nice to be able to open it. Also some towel rails in the bathroom and perhaps a shelf as there was nowhere to hang towels or put anything

Location is the best. Underground station ‘Earl’s court’ is just within 5-7 minutes of walk. This station is on several tube lines (District, Piccadilly, and others). It was convenient to travel in all directions through London. We booked 1 room for 3 people. Room was exceptionally clean. Cleaning was done everyday. There was a nice shower in the room, with all amenities. Breakfast was nutritious.
A little cold at night. During our stay in London, the weather was not warm, was rainy, so nights were not pleasant. We asked to turn on heaters inside the room, but receptionist said that there is only a central heating, so it wasn’t possible. If you arrive at breakfast at 9.00, there can be a queue. We had breakfast at 7.30 to avoid that.

The bathroom was really nice and looked as recently done up.Roomy room with plenty of different light options, including around the headboard and a reading light. 5 min straight walk from Earls Court tube. Very warm, needed to turn radiator down, but would rather that than cold. . Breakfast had enough basic selection inc 4 different cereals and a variety of milk, and was replenished regularly. Luggage area to store luggage after checkout. Friendly and quick check-in. Basic hotel but good value for money paid.
As a solo female traveller, i would have prefered a room not in the basement, as was wary of a walkway outside the window and also a brick wall with no outside view. Curtain rail in need of fixing. The floor was uneven, and the carpet had extra sections of carpet covering parts. Noise from road as the top section of window was slated and didn't close properly. I was at the back of the house. Rainforest shower in need of descaling. No toiletries available. Easy to fix items.

Very close to Earl's Court train station. Made it easy to get around town being the intersecting branch for multiple train lines. Fulham and Chelsea are also very nice neighbourhoods to walk around in. Breakfast was OK for every morning. Very simple. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed and room was clean. Was easy to rest and sleep in. WiFi worked very well, given I relied on it for my travels.
Room was a little small when you have a larger suitcase taking up the floor space. Shower did not have any soap holder or niche. There was something but it was broken? Maybe just my room. Was downstairs in the basement. Not a dealbreaker, because it was easier to get in and out the second entrance. Not as noisy from the main street too.

I did not have high expectations when I booked the Chelsea House Hotel B&B, as I'm used to staying in some appalling places, especially in London. But the rooms were cozy spotless, and the beds comfortable. The en-suite was perfectly good with a floor that did not get wet or slippery (important for me as I can be a bit unsteady on my legs). The temperature was comfortable (neither too warm nor too cold) and the window could be opened for air. We were greeted by a pleasant member of staff who checked us in fast and efficiently. Breakfast was included; basic but with plentiful coffee and juice and warm, freshly hard-boiled eggs.
The breakfast room was small with poorly laid out seating. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, at 08:23 on a Saturday morning. I'd suggest having two long benches instead, encouraging different groups to sit together.

Great location for the Tube and city travels. Very comfortable bed, we had a lovely sleep both nights. Room was spacious enough with tea/coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast was great, enough items to chose from to get you ready for the day. I would like to mention Hardeep (if I remember the name correctly), receptionist at check in and check out, great welcome, very helpful with information about our stay and things to do around, we had a great laugh and that's what we like, to feel welcomed and smile away :) My partner and I really enjoyed the stay. We shall be back :) Thank you
The room was warm at times but fan was provided so no issue there. The room was noisy sometimes but understandable as per location, if you want really quiet then maybe think different location, but that did not put us off. The only thing I'd like to mention is that the shower and windows could be cleaned a little bit more, but as a really old building and windows I imagine can be hard sometimes.
