The Henley house hotel is truly great. The location is very convenient with the tube station being a few minutes walk away and a lot of interesting places are also easily accessible by foot. The surrounding area is beautiful and has everything you need, while also being calm and not too crowded. The staff is always helpful and very kind and keeps the rooms clean and tidy. Our room was perfect for two guests, with big comfortable beds, a very nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony overlooking a garden. Breakfast was great and offered everything one could need for a filling and balanced meal. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we recommend the hotel to everyone.

The walls are more on the thinner side, which is why you can sometimes hear noise from neighbouring rooms, but it is not too bad.

The room was big and had a balcony overlooking the park across the street. Delightful! High ceilings make it airy and the doors opening out to the balcony brought in fresh air. Shower was excellent and hot. Something to note, the blinds to close the shower view was controlled by a magnet but once we figured out how to close, that was sorted. Breakfast was ample and delicious, nice continental breakfast with soft boiled eggs. All staff were super helpful but especially Donata who was an excellent communicator prior to our stay and marked my birthday with a banner in the room, a small cake and lovely card on behalf of the hotel. Colleen was warm and friendly and nothing was ever a problem. Fantastic place to stay - we will be back!

There was nothing I didn’t like!

Just a nice little hotel in the perfect location - the Piccadilly line runs directly to Earl's Court from Heathrow or from King's Cross, and between the Piccadilly and District lines it is easy to get to all the sights. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and useful shops. The price is very reasonable for a clean and comfortable room, and the breakfast buffet is a cut above the usual "continental breakfast."

There is no way to get into the hotel and up to the rooms without dealing with some stairs (though there is a lift which cuts down on the needed stair-climbing). This isn't really a surprise in the U.K., but be aware that the hotel isn't accessible by U.S. standards.

The building was what I call "very European". Small rooms, but well appointed. Location was fabulous. Breakfast was good, but there weren't a lot of different choices. The receptionists were very helpful with directions and suggestions. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean. The location was on a quiet street with beautiful gardens. I loved it!!. The shower was the best thing of all!! Hot and strong force pounding my back. The area was called Kensington-Chelsea- a very fine residential location.

What I didn't like can't be changed. The elevator held one person and a small bag- or 2 large bags with no person- or 2 small persons. It only went up to the 4th floor. My friend was assigned the 5th floor, and had to drag her suitcase up 15 steps. It forced me to be a gentleman! The air conditioning worked great, but turned off in the middle of the night. The room got warm quickly and made me get up and turn on the air again.

Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, constantly topped up. Staff hospitable and helpful. Room compact as advertised but fine for our couple of nights. Spotlessly clean. Location minutes from Earls Court tube station, perfect for access to central London on District line, but quiet at night. Could leave luggage so able to make most of London attractions on checkout day

Shower cubicle small as advertised which was fine for us but has prevented us from recommending to our taller / larger friends. Possibly more spacious cubicles in other rooms?

Overall my stay at Henley House Hotel was very satisfactory! The location of the hotel is perfect as it's located in a very calm and safe area, very close to the tube and also quite close to the centre. The breakfast was a continental type buffet with enough variety. The style and vibe of the hotel is really nice and has a lot of modern attributes. The staff at the front desk was also always very nice.

One complaint I have is the size of the bed. The width of the bed was fine, although if I were staying with someone else It would've been a bit of a squeeze. The problem was the lenght. I'm not a tall person (175cm) and laying flat down on the bed my feet were basically hanging over the edge. This is not something I ever experienced and I can imagine someone taller than me would find it much more uncomfortable.

We loved the location...being so close not only to plenty of very nice pubs (lovely one called the Blackbird on the corner), restaurants (fabulous Thai only 5 minutes walk away) and shops (M&D Food, Boots, co-op etc) but also within a stones throw to Earl's Court Underground Station. The street the Hotel is situated on was quiet and overlooked a loved tree lined park. The room was perfect size for a couple and we liked the mini fridge and bottles of water. We used the kettle for cuppas and liked the reading lights on each bedside. Breakfast was continental and provided plenty of choices including cereal, yogurts, warm croissants with a variety of jams/Nutella, toast and boiled eggs as well as cheese and cold meats. Not forgetting the mini muffins and tiny donuts, they were a lovely treat with a cuppa after breakfast!

The only thing which we both found less appealing was the size of the bathroom and the lack of water pressure. Having long hair, it took a long time to wash and condition due to the low shower pressure. That being said, it was clean and for a weekend only, we were happy to deal with it. The rest of the factors mentioned that we liked outweighed the low shower pressure!

The staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable, black out curtains were great. The complimentary breakfast each day was lovely and had plenty of options. I had some issues with the TV initially and the staff were able to move me to another room after a few days for the remainder of my stay. The location was also fantastic, 2 minute walk to the station and close to plenty of food and shops.

Located 4 minutes' walk from the underground, in a very nice house. The single room was on the 4th floor. The elevator doesn't go up so far, you have to walk 16 more steps. (This was not a problem for me, but not announced in advance.) The room was miniature, but had everything. Very clean. The window, which can only be opened on a hinge, overlooking a private park. The staff are neutral except for the reception boy who is friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I don't have a good opinion about breakfast. The coffee is particularly bad. :) What they offer is fresh and ok, but very poor selection.

Breakfast was good. Meat and cheese provided for sandwiches. Location very close to Earls Court tube station. Room was small but functional. Having a small refrigerator was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Elevator goes to the fourth floor and my room was on the fifth floor. Very steep steps to my room which was number 43 on the fifth floor. Tv channel selection was minimal with several channels dedicated to commercials only. Best night to watch tv was only on Sunday nights. Shower was small, like a phone booth.
