The room was very compact and basic but in a very convenient location, clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and didn't use the shower, but it looked TINY. I imagine it would be a struggle for an average height/build man to turn in the shower. The property was ideal and perfect for me and my daughters to stay for 1 night as we just needed a clean and safe place to sleep. It was very near Hyde Park where we were visiting Winter Wonderland. It was only a few minutes walk to the high street, too.

I was a bit nervous with the narrow stairs up to the room. I always check the escape route in case for fire, and I felt I wouldn't have much chance of getting out should there be a fire in the floors below as there was only one exit to the ground floor. I would have had to get out from the back window to another building. I know I might be very weird to leave such comment....

Excellent location. Minutes from Oxford Circus and Bond Street tube stations. Several restaurants close by and appeared very popular. Good value for money.

The stairs to reception are very narrow and very steep. Luckily I was accommodated next to reception so I only had one flight to negotiate but Room 15 is the only room at that level. More stairs to the other rooms. I would have struggled. Should be considered for anyone with mobility issues.

It was a very good value for central London. Is it fancy? No. But it was pretty clean, the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and it did not break our budget. What you get is a room, beds, a fan or two, towels, and ensuite bath. Nothing special...it does the job. And really, why are you in London anyway? To admire your hotel or to enjoy London? Get out there and enjoy London and come back here for a decent place to sleep.

We knew there were stairs so it wasn't a big deal. But if you can't carry your luggage up 3 or 4 flights of stairs--then don't stay here. But if you want a good value and don't mind the exercise of those stairs, then this place will work just fine.

Great location in central London, just off New Bond street, but surprisingly good value. Reception is through a small entrance door between two restaurants and up stairs, where a cheerful chap handed out the keycard and explained that one's room may well not be in the same building; mine was on opposite side of street and on third floor of a quirky old building (ie uneven floors.) Room was small but adequate, with windows overlooking the street. Cul-de-sac street was quiet enough to sleep with open windows. Loo and shower were fine. Kettle with tea, coffee etc provided but take your own milk if you don't like the powdered sort provided. I didn't take breakfast option but had an excellent supper in the Italian restaurant downstairs.

The location of this hotel is truly exceptional. Above Bond Street tube station, with Oxford Street thirty seconds' walk away. Clean, spacious hotel. The only small problem is that the rooms can also be on the third floor and there is no lift. But whoever is on vacation doesn't care at all. Very kind staff, exceptional area, served, surrounded by restaurants, shops, taxis, everything.

Yes it was next door to the check in reception though why people have complained about this, I have no idea. 10% Discount given for lovely Italian restaurant ax the road. Super reasonable price for a hotel that’s located a 5 min walk from Claridges.

Absolutely nothing. Yes there were stairs to climb. That’s what you get with these little boutique hotels in London. It’s not unusual. Wasn’t a problem at all.

Many stairs with no elevator so difficult if you have luggage. The rooms are quite small and old but they are ok if you just want a clean bed to sleep for a couple of nights.

This hotel is a good value for money due to it’s strategic location and satisfactory amenities. Although there is no lift, that does not negatively affect our stay in London. The receptionist was kind and friendly enough to offer us a room on the first floor. It is also just a 3 minutes walk to Bond Street Station which makes our commuting easier using the tubes and buses as well. Besides, it’s really close to Oxford Street and thus shopping is very convenient due to its accessibility. If you’re looking for a budget accommodation in London, this is just the right choice.
