Very quaint and cozy, but modern and chic! Enjoyed the funky decor more than I thought, as opposed to unfortunate generic decor other hotels use when they don’t have a theme like this! Friendly reception and kitchen staff! Loved my room with its exposed brick and bathroom in the wall! I thought the use of the room key in order to light my room was super clever (despite being in the dark for a few minutes haha) Loved changing the colour temperature too! Thought the complimentary breakfast was simply yummy with a lot of options. Felt safe and content with the space for my first solo travel experience. Overall great experience and would recommend to others!

The mattress wasn’t the most amazing thing I’ve ever slept but all things considered can’t complain too much!

The staff were excellent & helpful, the room was very clean and such a nice modern & stylish design & decor, and it’s an excellent location given I travel from Exeter to Paddington, a stone’s throw from the station and plenty of food options & pubs nearby.

The mattress was a little too firm for my personal liking but I still slept pretty well, and some of the plug sockets were a little loose so was a bit hard charging devices up at times. But very, very minor issues at what is a great hotel with excellent staff!

Excellent location…3minutes walk to Paddington Underground,Train Station & Bus Stops. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Good breakfast and ever helpful and smiling staff.Kitchenette was very convenient.

I stayed with my husband and 2 teen children in 2 rooms over the New Year period. Check in was smooth, the staff were helpful and efficient. The rooms, while small were quiet, clean and warm and had everything we required. The beds were soft and the bathroom, also while small, had everything we needed. The hotel is very close to Paddington station, multiple pubs and restaurants and is an easy walk to Hyde Park. The breakfast was great, a plentiful continental or full English was available and the breakfast ladies were very efficient and welcoming. We liked the tea and coffee available at reception at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay!

The lighting was a little dark in the rooms.

This was our 4th stay with Stylotel. We booked a twin room & upgraded to a triple for more space. Refurbishment underway but our room hadn’t been done yet so it was well in need of repair work. It was still very comfortable and the location excellent with such a short walk to Paddington. The staff were outstanding as usual and always a pleasure to be made so welcome. Elaine and Andreas remembered us from previous visits - it makes such a difference. Wifi was very good, having a bar fridge, aircon, a kettle and comfortable beds & pillows is wonderful. Breakfasts are excellent and included in the room rate.

When refurbishing the rooms the lighting needs boosting and more storage as there’s nowhere to put your luggage except under the beds. The bathrooms are bijoux but here too quite a bit of repair work required in our room. Only one stool to sit on in a triple room, so it was quite cramped. No sound proofing - we would hear other guests above, below and next door.

We've stayed here a number of times - September 2015, September 2019, and now September 2023. Every time it's been absolutely satisfactory and exactly what we needed - comfortable beds and a hot shower, convenient, clean, quiet. That's why we've come back. The location is superb - really close for Paddington Station and Heathrow, and the Circle and District lines, and Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Plus a big NHS hospital right next door if you need one. Everything you could possibly need is on Praed Street, with a Marks & Spencer at one end. And there's a great craft beer pub called The Bear around the corner on Spring St. It's a Paddington B&B, so you are always going to be in an old building that's been adapted to hold a lot of small rooms. There will always be creaky floorboards and strange uneven corridors! We've stayed in several places like this and it's inevitable. But the Stylotel has been really well maintained and upgraded in the time we've known it. This time, there was a brand new lift, and a climate control unit in the room that was really welcome in the hot weather. Great breakfast as always, and super helpful desk staff who even lent us cutlery for our picnic supper in Hyde Park. We're always glad we stayed here.

Excellent location with many shops & restaurants nearby. Easy to walk to Paddington Station. Room is very small, minimalist style - but it has everything you need. Lift works well, good air conditioning. Great breakfast, very clean throughout and coffee/tea always available in the lobby. Even a free drink at bar across the street. Was disappointed that the room we booked (2 twin beds) was not available. Manager tried to accommodate so we wouldn’t have to share a double bed, but was not an acceptable option. Manager is very pleasant & helpful.

Near to Hyde park for our concert. Very clean. Very friendly staff both at reception and in the dining room. Fresh, hot, great breakfast and a very clean dining room. Very clean bedroom. We could buy cold drinks at good value and hot drinks were available and free the whole time.

Would have really appreciated being able to buy a few snack bits at good value too. After coming from the concert we would’ve loved something small at the hotel. Crisps? Small packs of biscuits? Or small packs of crackers with the individual small packs of cheese? Nuts? Think this would be really popular and if all small packs then easy for you to store and not have waste? Just a thought.

Great location close to Paddington Station. Staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Organised tickets for us on the Open-top bus and Tower Bridge helping us to get the most out of our short trip to London. Room was spotless. Complimentary tea and coffee in reception was lovely when arriving back to hotel after concert in Hyde Park! Lovely touch to receive a complimentary drink in the Sussex Arms across the road from the hotel. 10/10 for the fabulous breakfast, the perfect start to set you up for a day of sight-seeing! We were able to leave our bags in storage prior to check-in and after checking out, which was great. Overall a little gem of a hotel and would recommend highly!

Great location, easy to find and happy to walk back from the train station in the dark alone. Breakfast was good.

The room was very tiny and from the looks of the map there was at least one room smaller again. I’m ok with a small room but you need to be able to use the bathroom in a functional way. Due to the size of the bathroom the shower would splash into the rest of the bathroom saturating the bath at and floor and also the toilet, you had to dry yourself in the bedroom because the bathroom was so small and you couldn’t physically stand in front of the basin properly because the toilet was in the way. Otherwise the room was quite comfortable. I know that there are a lot of other rooms that would be a good size.
