I was at a work event until later than I had anticipated and booked this hotel last minute- honestly, it was because it was the cheapest option (£70 for the night) that had an en suite bathroom and I didn’t fancy sharing! I realise I got a last minute ‘deal’ but my goodness this hotel was lovely! A beautiful period property. The person on the front desk was FANTASTIC. I called to say I was arriving late to check that was ok- all fine. He then upgraded me to a suite free of charge. Room was huge, bed was on a mezzanine and very comfortable and bathroom was very spacious and modern. Honestly couldn’t fault it and was a LOT cheaper than Travelodge.

Not sure if there is a lift? I would hope there is, but I was on the first floor anyway so didn’t bother me that much.

Stayed over for one night for a Noah Kahan concert on valentines and was the most romantic place I've ever been! Basement bar looked gorgeous, chocolatiere and florist shop 30 second walk, very convenient corner shop and small beautiful array of restaurants. For one night, 2 of us, £89 (which was a bargain and a half!) We were upgraded to the garden suite! Most gorgeous stunning reception and gorgeous room and windows and curtains and a mini fridge! AC was very welcomed as the room was so cosy and bathroom gorgeous

I would not call the toiletries "luxury" and in the evening there was a slightly unsociable reception staff

Had a wonderful stay at the Colonnade. There were so many negative reviews, I was hesitant to book. I could see from the photos however, that the hotel had charm and character, unlike so many new hotels these days. When I arrived, Naz gave me a very warm welcome and I instantly knew I’d made the correct choice. Everything during my stay was to my liking and there was even a complimentary breakfast each morning, which hadn’t been advertised. Two minute walk from the tube station, really perfect. I’ll definitely be back :)

WiFi could be better. Old buildings with thick walls don’t make for good WiFi.

The staff were responsive and pleasant. My requests were met. The room on the ground floor was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a grande dame in a leafy setting in Little Venice, easy walking distance to local tube and Paddington. Very adequate continental breakfast, was clean and good value.

There have been very negative reviews of this hotel. I don't agree. It depends on expectations of older properties . This building is a famous landmark, birthplace of Alan Turing. It needs some refresshing of paint and carpets, and all the electrics and light bulbs checked. However the past negative reviews should be ignored. Clearly those travelers do not appreciate style.

The hotel is situated in the most magnificent spot of your wanting to live it up. The hotel itself is spectacular that only gets finished off by the plush white buildings surrounding its really somethings out of a Jane Austin’s book. Apart from the hotel being a carbon copy of the palace of verse. It’s magical

Everything about the property is fabulous. My only complaint was to be woken up by some yobs screaming and fighting leaving a surrounding put. The security on out hotel handled not with grace

The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself and the room looks very luxurious. Even tho it was an older hotel (which we really liked!), it was clean and taken care of. The hotel is located near a bus station and also a underground station, so it was really easy to move from point a to point b.

I am absolutely happy with the service, room, and amazing bed. I was surprised that breakfast was included to price the room. The hotel is close to the underground station. The few shops are around. Park and so nice architecture. Thank you very much for all. Definitely beck to this place.

I am very sorry to write about this, but in a hotel of this type, there should be a kettle and cups or glasses for water in the hotel. This was the only downside for me as a 4-star hotel.

The localization was great, very close to a Underground and in a calm and beautiful neighborhood. The employees were great, all of them, respectful and solicitous. We loved it

Of course this is an old Hotel, and as it expected the furniture has its marking, but nothing that makes us depreciate the place, everything was clean and organized, looking like luxury old things, it has its charm.
