The room was insanely clean, you could literally smell how clean it was! The bed was very comfortable and the linen clean and soft. A lot of complimentary amenities - coffee machine AND milk foamer, robes and slippers, chips, cookies etc - plus a lot of nice little touches here and there - warm towels anyone? The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming. We had also dinner at the pub we recommend it, food was delicious and the atmosphere very cosy! it's conveniently located and very quiet at night. Plus it has an amazing style! Can't wait to come back ❤️

The rooms were lovely and the bed and pillows were comfy. Our room had a window that you could open with a view over the rooftops which was a bonus as we could get fresh air. The bathroom was good with a large shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful, carried out luggage up and down to our room. The meals in the pub were delicious and good drinks. Husband had the best hamburger of his life! It was a great location and we were able to walk to Portobello Road, Paddington Station and Kensington Palace and gardens. The buses were just across the road. Such a fabulous place!!!

Not much. The stairs were very steep but it’s an old building so to be expected.

the most amazing staff who appeared as our taxi from the Eurostar pulled up! A free drink at the bar while they took our luggage upstairs was just lovely! The room was so cute and although small (it is London!) was decorated beautifully with nice touches like free bottled water and chocolate. Bed was really comfortable. All round great stay with fabulous bar food!

Lighting on the stairs up and down to the room was insufficient (for some reason more so down rather than up! Be prepared stairs are going to be part of your life t this property!

Beautiful pub close to wonderful restaurants and walking distance to bus stops and tube stations. Quiet and safe area. Wonderful host who are very accommodating. They stored our luggage when we arrived early and took our luggage to our rooms when the room was ready. The pub food is exceptional and with large portion’s. Everyone was friendly. We would 100% stay here again our next trip to London. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I can not express how friendly and kind the staff was to us! We felt completely enveloped with sincerely kindness as soon as we walked in the door. Every employee acknowledged us and wished us a good day, it was so refreshing. The food in the pub was delicious, I loved the cocktails and the decor and ambience was absolutely beautiful. We loved the old world look of it with some bits of modernization. The menu was pretty eclectic but included a very delicious and generous fish and chips meal as well as fish tacos and I think my favorite was the mezze platter for 2, but I will warn you, the platter is large. Also, on the weekend, we did get the delicious "English" breakfast and if I had one complaint, it was that I could not order the tasty Bloody Mary until noon due to local regulations. I watched the staff deal with many different people, and all with equal grace and kindness and it was heartwarming. One elderly lady came in for what seemed to be her weekly brunch and the manager sat her right away and we noticed he leaned in and spoke to her in a voice she could hear and he truly seemed to care about her comfort. The room was decorated very nicely and was so cozy AND VERY CLEAN. Our bed was VERY comfortable and although we were rooming over a pub, we didn't hear the din from below at all. There was some noise during the day on the staircase, but it was just sporadic and not intrusive. Our room only had one window that faced an alley, but I know they have other rooms with windows. We were perfectly fine with that as we weren't caring for a view, we wanted to get out and see the place. One of the coolest things about the location is that it is a couple of blocks from the famous "Portabello Road Market" which was full of eclectic stalls and shops that sold vintage clothing, a plethora of antiques, jewelry and even produce and other foods. The food stalls were the best!

Honestly, we loved it all! I can't really complain about anything. We loved that the buses ran right from the front of the hotel and you could get anywhere you needed to very easily!

My husband was skeptical about staying above a busy pub but after looking at the reviews we decided to give this place a try and it was excellent. From the initial greeting that included a beverage of your choice - you are at a pub - to the very kind assistance with luggage and introduction to our lovely room all went according to plan. The room was very comfortable, very well appointed (there is even a milk frother for coffee), bath robes, nice linens and large fluffy towels. Nice bathroom with large shower. We were on the highest floor and had no noise from the pub which is very popular and does get quite lively in the evening. We also enjoyed two meals at the pub with great food and very generous portions - additionally they offer room guests a discount on food and drinks. The staff were especially notable for their hospitality.

Unfortunately they do have lots of stairs with no lift. They did carry all our luggage up to the room and we had no issues but if you have mobility problems this would not be a good fit.

Nice hotel above a cozy pub, good sized rooms with fresh linnen. A good location, we enjoyed the area with many restaurants and pubs. Upon arrival we got some welcoming drinks, much appreciated!

The bed isn’t very steady, the mattress moves whenever one turns, so we woke up often. Room 3 was in a hallway with stairs, the soundproofing could improve as we heard everyone walk by - we’re light sleepers though.

We were met very early in the morning after a long flight. Treated with great coffee (very appreciated Leo) and able to store our bags while we headed out to explore sunny London. Appreciated being allowed to store medication in fridge and freezer in the bar. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Shower over bath. Private access to the property ( separate from entering via the bar … but lots of steps 😊) Super location, with a short walk to tube and buses.

We had a great stay at Hayden Pub and rooms, the staff were very welcoming and tried their best to get our room ready on arrival before check in time. The room was stocked with little snacks and water each day. Overall, this was a great stay in London for the price and location was fantastic with lots of great shops and coffee shops around. We would stay again. The pub looked great but our days were so busy we didn’t get to try the food.

Nothing, actually maybe the flooring in the bathroom was a bit funny, like a plastic flooring

excellent location to Bayswater Tube. All of the Staff were so helpful, smiley and friendly. Rooms, modern, super clean and of an excellent quality. Lovely little touches, complimentary water in fridge, chocolate and a bag of crisps too! Yes was really comfortable with crisp white duvet and sheets and super soft thick white towels. We also had some fresh milk for ur tea and coffee to take up to ur room - which was so appreciated. Daily Maid service too! We didn't get the opportunity to have an evening meal however, we had breakfast on our last morning and it was outstanding! Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing - we would absolutely recommend and we will definitely stay again when we are in London. Not a problem for us however, if you are not sure on your feet, or struggle with stairs, there is not a lift. A lovely gentleman did carry our bags to our room.
