Our 2 day stay at Sawyers was perfect & our lovely hosts Tracey& Ken were so friendly & welcoming. We stayed in room 2, which was excellent,with a view out onto the seafront, it was extremely spacious, with a comfortable bed, powerful shower, lots of storage/hanging space, comfortable seating etc- everything was there that we needed. Breakfast served in the dining room (which had a lovely relaxing feel) was freshly cooked to order by Tracey & was delicious! We met several guests who had been returning to Sawyers for a considerable time & we could see why. It was a great base for us to relax, walk & explore the wonderful coastline & local area. We had a great time, thoroughly recommend Sawyers & are planning a return visit.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Ground floor seaview room. Parking right outside your room. Beautiful sea view and sunrises to wake to. Choice of breakfast sittings and full range of options. I liked the ticklist menu so I don't have to waste the breakfast items I don't eat. I worked 4 full days using my laptop on hotel wifi and it worked perfectly. Good aircon. I was allowed to use the room until the end of the work day, 8 hours after official checkout. Tracey was very friendly and can't be faulted.

I prefer a memory foam mattress/topper but just a personal preference. Door lock was a fairly simple Yale and door opens to the outdoors but the area is very safe and reception overlooks the entrances.

lovely hosts -ideal location with beautiful sea view from room and parking space close to room. Good choice for breakfast and good choice of times so don't need a very early start if you don't want it. comfortable room - very clean.

in term of accommodation it was perfect - however in terms of location for travellers with mobility issues, it is worth noting that it is a ten minute walk along the cost path and down some steps into Looe harbour and probably another 15 minutes walk into the centre. it's a 2 or 3 minute drive so easy to drive down into Looe, and the views from the room are well worth it. we will definitely book again

We had a fantastic week, mainly due to the hosts Ken and Tracy. The rooms were more than adequate for the price. The location and views really good. The breakfasts were excellent. Holidays will always be influenced by the hosts and you will not find better anywhere. If you enjoy a laugh, good banter and lot's of stories, you will love Ken and Tracy. Of course, you don't have to be sociable (or mad) but it helps. 😁

There was nothing to dislike. There are areas that would enhance it, but then you would expect to pay more. This really is a value for money place. Most rooms have wi-fi except room 1due to the location and thickness of the walls, but I suggest you take a PAYG dongle.

The room was clean, well equipped and had a fantastic view. The hosts were absolutely lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of choice, and set us up for the day.

The only thing we found a bit of an issue was the distance from the main town, as my mum wasn't able to walk too far, and with no car, we had to use a taxi each day, as public transport was not too regular.

We have just arrived back after the best few days stay at Sawyers B&B. The hosts Ken and Tracy are the best couple you could meet, nothing was too much trouble. Ken is so funny, his stories are....well, unique shall we say haha. The hosts really made our mini moon one to remember. Tracy's breakfasts are absolutely cracking, even though we are not the best morning people for eating breakfast we did manage it a couple of days and the quality and the way it was cooked was top notch. The place totally exceeded our expectations. Our room was huge with comfy bed and all you need for a stay in lovely Looe...with views you can never get bored of. We loved sitting out the front with a glass of, well whatever haha having a laugh with other guests and the hosts of course. Cannot wait to return, already making plans for our 1st anniversary 😍 💕

I really didn't like the time we had to leave to come home.. could have stayed a lot longer

Tracy was very welcoming and friendly. The room was large, with a sofa, bathroom also large with good linen and walk in shower. Everything was very clean. Tracy noted that I am on a gluten free diet and took particular care abut this. Breakfast was nicely cooked with gluten free toast and good coffee. The rooms are all on the ground floor with windows facing the sea. The location is quiet on Marine Drive just above the town.

The only comment is that the comfortable bed was a bit low.

Being able to park nearby was a bonus itself but being able to park by the room was great. The view from the room was beautiful and the room was spacious. Breakfasts were very good in both quality and quantity. Many thanks to Tracey.

The only thing that could have been better is that the bed was on the soft side so not supportive. We weren’t expecting 5-star accommodation so everything else was fine.

Amazing location with a sea view and access to local walks and attractions. Calm and quiet with morning sunrise across the sea. Just beautiful! Tracy is absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. Freshly cooked breakfast was great with good quality ingredients.

Bed was a little soft and so not very comfortable for me but that’s a personal preference.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and so interesting even Ken. We stayed back in May but honestly couldn't recommend more for people to book here. A nice walk into Looe city centre and a view that looks out onto the sea. It was my favourite holiday so far.

There is honestly nothing I didn't like about this holiday, the breakfast was amazing, the people were friendly and helpful and even washed my dirty clothes for me. I would happily stay here again as they are just excellent.
