Location was great and the apartment is nice.

Reception never answered the phone and charged us for toiletries and tea bags by the looks of it. If I needed anything I had to go down to reception as the communication from them via WhatsApp was also very poor. Also I was double charged for parking so be aware of this.

Spacious room, every facility you needed. Great location, just along from AO Arena which was great for us. Lovely coffee shop on site. Embankment Kitchen restaurant great for evening meal, lovely quality food.

Breakfast chaotic, too many customers, booking system doesn't appear to work well, wrong orders brought out continuously, however quality of breakfast very good.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had - room was huge, modern and had every appliance you could need… lots of ‘extra mile’ touches such as a GHD hairdryer, a very large screen TV that can be swivelled to face either the living area or the bed, really large shower, very comfortable bed and proper blackout curtains. Not totally soundproof sadly, so bring your ear plugs for a great nights sleep. I also went down for a swim and even though the jacuzzi wasn’t working (no bubbles) and the steam room wasn’t even remotely steamy, it was still nice to have a pool on site

Sadly breakfast was a DISASTER! Despite booking the table for 9am I was waiting 20 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes for food to arrive. In the end I had to leave without eating as I had to go to work and didn’t have time to wait 40 minutes to be fed! The queue of people waiting was ridiculous and everyone was frustrated. If you’re not to hire enough staff for busy periods than you should have a self service buffet. Very, very disappointing.

Well designed, clean, modern, spacious and very well equipped apartments. Staff were helpful and friendly. Nice pool and gym. Would 100% stay here again. Breakfast at the Embankment Restaurant was also tasty and good value.

Minor points: the power of the shower was poor: a struggle to wash long hair under, despite being a very new looking rainfall shower. The pool and surrounded area needed a bit more cleaning. There was a piece of chewing gum on the bench by the pool for the duration of our stay.

Overall lovely stay at the Citysuites apartment. Checkin was seamless and we actually were able to upgrade from a 1 bed to 2 bed apartment and paid the difference in price which was super. The apartment itself was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a living area. There was no issues. the swimming pool area and gym were a fantastic addition and we got to use all the facilities during our stay which was great. The only feedback we have is regarding breakfast - we had a booking for 9.30 and we didn't get our breakfast for nearly an hour. We were sitting at the main door and it was very cold. The service was so slow and we were just lucky that we had no where to be as otherwise I am not sure what we could have done. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was amazing. The only thing was they did run out of beer on tap on the friday and this wasn't replaced all weekend which was disappointing also they ran out of some food options too which was disappointing but the food was still very good. Would definitely recommend to staying here very central and also one of the best places we have stayed in Manchester.

Fantastic location right opposite the cathedral and Harvey Nichols shopping area. Small walk away from the arena and basically everything is on your door step. We had a lovely 2 bed room apartment (with a fully equipped kitchen) which was tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. The gorgeous swimming pool was a huge bonus and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Would not hesitate to recommend and would absolutely stay again.

We would have liked our bins emptied everyday and they were not. Indeed, we did not have our apartment cleaned but it was only a two day stay so was not strictly necessary.

Clean , good facilities and in a good location for arena and train station

Breakfast was a shambles , people booking tables and waiting over 2 hours to be served food . We booked and told we’d have an hours wait which was unacceptable as we had a train to catch . Host took our room number for a refund but in all honesty I’d seen reviews about this situation on Tripadvisor prior to journey and it’s obvious that it isn’t being addressed . Shame as it lets the side down massively . It’s also not great for people with health issues like type 1 diabetes as you need food asap you can’t wait like that .

The pool, gym, sauna, embankment kitchen, close proximity to town centre. The room was modern and clean. Beautiful bathroom. Nice kitchen appliances.Coffee machine.All the fixtures and fittings as well as decor felt very modern and new, which i really liked. Nice little coffee shop and seating area outside and a sainsburys right across the street, very handy.

The only things i would have liked, were bath robes for when we have to use the pool as the corridor to the pool meant we had to walk near the reception desk at the entrance to the hotel, felt a little akward when guests were checking in and we were stood in swimwear waiting for the lifts to come down. Complimentary waters in the room would have been a nice touch, something that i have noticed in other hotels, as well as the bath robes. But other then that it was fantastic.

Booked about 5 minutes prior to arriving, was checked in super quick and very easy. You get a discount on parking when you pay at the reception for the q car park across the road. The stay was such great value for money we stayed in the one bed apartment and couldn’t believe the space for the price! Everything you’d need in the room with cutlery etc, gym pool and sauna too!! We also went into the restaurant on the bottom floor rang up and they gave us a table within the hour, nice food and cocktails on your door step, will definitely return (staff were helpful too)

Only downfall was didn’t realise you had to book breakfast even if it’s included, however we did get a refund so cannot complain

It was a beautiful spacious apartment that contained everything we needed. My health has taken a dip this last 6 months and although hopefully on the mend I felt this place looked ideal for my situation with all the comforts of home combined with the benefits of a hotel too. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Its situated beautifully near the cathedral in a quiet part of the city but is only a small walk to shops bars or anything you might want. Overall I can't recommend this place highly enough we both loved our stay.

Only minor gripe would be that a few if the pots, pans and cutlery needed a bit of a clean upon arrival but hey there's a dishwasher so it wasn't a big deal at all really otherwise everything was perfect.
