We enjoyed the included breakfast (Full English or Muffins, self serve juice, coffee, and spreads) the extras were very affordable. The room was very clean. We appreciated the rotating fan immensely as the room does get quite warm. The staff were very accommodating.

We didn't realise the door to the room would have no hallway, due to the layout it makes it easier to hear noise from the hallway, which carried some noise from other rooms. Presumably it would be similar to other rooms. However it was always quiet at night. Because we had the fan we could close the windows. We were missing a few basic amenities from the bathroom but this was easily sorted. Unfortunately the pub below was only serving food in the mornings at the time but overall we enjoyed the stay.

Very pleasant and clean room, beautiful bathroom, nice and quiet. Bar area was lovely and had a pool table, staff were great and breakfast was lovely in the morning. Prices were reasonable for city center location with Pride and a football match both on.

Understandably the electricity to the room is powered by the card. Could have done with two cards and we were both going to different locations and getting back at different times. This was an option but at an additional fee. Not a big deal really for most, just meant I had a bit of a disturbed sleep.

The rooms were lovely, we had everything we needed! The staff on the bar/reception were amazing and were so accommodating! We also had food here down stairs and that was delicious! The location was spot on! And also was within 20m of a carpark so that was a bonus

The room we stayed in was quiet small however this wasn’t a problem, when we arrived it was 26degrees in the room and took a long time to cool down but again it wasn’t a problem as we went straight out

I had a seamless check-in experience, even though I arrived very late. The hotel staff were accommodating and efficient, ensuring that I settled in without any hassle. My room exceeded expectations, as it was impeccably clean and provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The friendly demeanor of the staff members made me feel welcome throughout my stay, and their attentive service added to the overall positive experience. The breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options that were prepared to perfection. It truly set a high standard for the start of my day.

During breakfast, I noticed that instant coffee sachets were served instead of freshly brewed coffee. While this was the only aspect I didn't particularly enjoy, it would have been great to have the option of a freshly brewed cup of coffee to enhance the breakfast experience.

Pleasantly suprised and l agree with all the good reviews given of this hotel, very clean room, spacious, great location, enjoyed the breakfast. Staff very friendly. Not noisy although there is a bar downstairs. Close to transport links, amenities, tourist attractions and AO Arena, During my visit the kitchen closed at 8pm so you may want to keep that in mind if you would like to have dinner. Also be mindful of £1 per day Visitor tax charged to visitors stay in hotels within the city centre area not sure if this was included in my stay as it was an advance payment.

Maybe that you have to pass through the bar downstairs, however it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Just a bit of dust on the kettle in the room.

The room was very clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was very comfy and the shower and shower room was perfect. The breakfast was very good and the food and drinks in the bar were also very good and reasonably priced with the guest discount. The car park over the road was also ideal and reasonably priced.

The only suggestions I would make to improve anything would be to have a switch rather than PIR for the shower room light as it is very bright when you need to visit to toilet in the night. The room would benefit from curtains rather than relying on blinds alone and some of the doors outside of the room were quite loud when they closed.

Friendly greeting. Lovely spacious room. Superb location for us !

I prefer curtains to blinds as they block out the light coming in from outside better. But the blinds looked very stylish in keeping with the rooms modern style, and many people would not worry too much about this_ just me. . . . The morning breakfast was O.K. However on the final morning before we headed off the avocado did not look great to say the least. ! I did mention it to the staff member and he took it back to the kitchen straight away !

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel was clean, and the discount at the pub downstairs was a nice perk. However, the downside was the excessive noise at night, which made it difficult to sleep, especially before an important exam. Despite this issue, I would recommend the hotel for those who can tolerate the noise. The cleanliness and the pub discount were definite highlights, but light sleepers should be aware of the potential disturbance.

noise at night because of the location

Loved our room! (Salford Room), very spacious light and airy room and the bathroom was big too. Modern decor and a very comfy large king bed. Although it is a busy road at the front, you don’t hear too much road noise at all when the windows are shut. Staff are great - very friendly and professional and it’s a bonus getting 20% off food and drink when staying! Breakfast was decent and the pub area is very nicely laid out with attractive decor. The location is very good - circa 10 mins walk away from the main hustle and bustle and Victoria train station, so it was ideal for us. There is enough space and hangers for clothes and some shelving in bedroom too. If I was to be really picky, a storage area and bigger shelf would be great in the bathroom too for all my toiletries and make up! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay again in the future.
