Reception staff were welcoming and helpful; room was comfortable breakfast was freshly cooked and good value; bar snacks were good value, although limited menu. Location was ideal: convenient for car parking, within easy walking distance of Old Trafford Stadium and handy for a good selection of bars and restaurants, without the need to go into central Manchester.

Room was too hot overnight, with difficulty in adjusting the air conditioning A "picky' point- only one biscuit provided, with small selection of teas/ coffees- not replenished (attention to detail). It was not clear enough that the Marco Pierre White restaurant was closed on the Sunday evening

All the staff we dealt with were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. As, I believe, there were not many people staying on the Bank Holiday Monday night, there was no hot food put out Tuesday morning BUT the staff cooked you anything you wanted. The Imperial War Museum North was close by and the Metro station Media City UK is a few minutes from the hotel enabling a convenient way to get into the city by tram. Did not see many restaurants nearby but there is one in house and also a bar that serves snacks.

This may have been a misunderstanding but our room did not get serviced after the second night there. So called background music in the breakfast room wasn't far enough in the background.

Great choice and everything was nice and fresh at breakfast. We had dinner at Mario’s Restaurant, in the hotel. Food was lovely. The bar area and social spaces were ideal for our needs. The hotel was well situated for all the amenities we wanted. Great for visiting the Coronation Street experience! The bedrooms were spacious and bright. The staff were kind, helpful, professional and very personable and knowledgeable

Would have liked an extra grab rail in the bath or a non slip mat when using the shower. The bath was high sided, so it would have been a bonus to have something else to grab on to when getting in or out, for extra safety.

Arrived early so was able to leave my bag, room was available when I checked in at 2pm. Had a room on the 10th floor, perfectly clean and comfortable. Heard no noise from the corridor. Nice to have a fridge in the room. The desk was very good to do some work. We ate in the restaurant great deal on the pizza and bottle of wine, gorgeous food. Relaxed restaurant. Bar was nice. Location was perfect for us near the tram station and a walk from Old Trafford. Visited the imperial War museum which was amazing. In summary a brilliantly situated Hotel. Would definitely return.

The lift was slow.

I had to speak with someone prior to stopping to check on my booking. The member of staff was absolutely brilliant on the phone. Very helpand friendly. Then on arrival the reception staff were so nice and welcoming and again on departure The room we had was on the top floor. It was an executive room and was very spacious and very comfortable and clean with a lovely bath and shower. . The multi storey car park was just next door which was so handy and underneath that is a Co op for all your needs and handy if you forget something although the hotel can supply extra toiletries if needed for a charge. The location is excellent you can do less than 10 min walk to the tram, the lowry and the quayside. Manchester is a hop on the tram and off again or the Trafford Centre. We didn't eat at the hotel as we ate out, there's so many places to choose from nearby. It's about 12 min walk to theatre and 25 mins to Old Trafford should you wish to go. Can't fault this hotel and would definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff there who maintain and help staff and run this place its a credit to them all.

Nothing, could of done with a few more milks in the room but I am sure if I had asked, I would have got some

All the staff were so friendly and did their utmost to make our stay a memorable one, The room was very well appointed, clean and serviced daily and the view from the 15th floor looking out over the City was great. The Hotel is situated centrally for all that is going on in and around Salford Media City whether it be The Lowry. Coronation Street Tour, The Vue cinema, a boat trip on the Canal and river Irwell and several restaurants. Car parking is next door and discount is given for staying at The Holiday Inn. Breakfast is fantastic with a great choice for all tastes and staff very keen to help with a smile.

Only a small point but it would have been better to have had the room made up earlier, (whist we were having breakfast?) rather than after we had been out for most of the day and getting ready to go out in the evening. I do appreciate there are a lot of rooms to service.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. It must have been a busy weekend for them with several events on in the city but they were always happy to not just help, but also chat. Brought scissors to the room when I needed to cut some tags off clothes, happily fixed our key cards for us, etc. Just brilliant. Room was comfy and clean, and bathroom was lovely. Desk with lamp and TV were a nice touch. Floor to ceiling window with loads of natural light and all the amenities you could need - kettle, tea and coffee, iron, etc. Thought it was great value for the location and the level of comfort. Didn't use the gym or restaurant and didn't get breakfast so can't comment on that.

No improvements for me.

Looks great from outside and inside it is immaculate! The ladies on the check in desk were fantastic and so helpful. We had our dog with us and needed a bowl for water for her and the lady obtained one for us. The lady also showed us how to operate the lift with your card. Security it great so nobody can just walk in and go up the lift! It felt safe. We will book again as it’s central to all attractions. Great location. Bedroom was spacious for us and our dog. Bed was very comfortable and the tea/coffee facilities was good and there’s a local coop where you buy more milk and tea or coffee it’s located next door as is the parking.

A very clean and modern hotel. 1031 was a quiet corner room with two windows that provided great views of the area. It’s a decent size with a comfortable bed and we both had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is £20 pp and was really good, with plenty of food options available and the staff were very professional and helpful. We used the multi storey car park next to the Premier Inn and walked the 5 minute route to the Holiday Inn. You get an £11 discount on 24 hrs of parking here by giving your car park ticket to the hotel receptionist. The purpose of our visit was to do the Coronation Street Tour and it was an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel to the venue.

Lift kept rejecting my room keys.

We was on the 15th floor in the hotel, it was very high but was a lovely view. The room was big and spotless I cannot fault the hotel. Location of this property was perfect. We went to visit The Coronation street tour which was around the corner. Lots of things to do. Staff was absolutely amazing anything we needed they was there to help. Breakfast was lovely, would definitely recommend this hotel. One of the best hotel I have stayed in and will definitely be coming back to it again in the future.

There nothing I could say that I didn’t like
