Wow we were totally overwhelmed when we were taken to our room, which was not in the actual Cheshire Cat but the next building along from it. It consisted of bedroom, bathroom, lounge and fully fitted kitchen (with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, plus mugs, plates, glasses, pots and pans and cutlery). It was home from home. We has a lovely cooked breakfast each day, we will definitely recommend this to family and friends as it was the best place I have stayed.

Would of liked later check out and option of cereals for breakfast but they are minor things which didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience.

Great location. Lovely modern room. Wet room bathroom, which was interesting. Breakfast included too. Free parking Great place. The breakfast room is a very ambient room, formerly the disco area of the 'cat'. Many features are centuries old.

Bed probably too big for the size of the room, meaning not much room to get around, but not a problem for a one night stay. There was a 45 minute wait before our breakfast arrived, no cereals offered. There were only 2 other couples in the dining room at the time that we arrived so not busy. As a result, we were under pressure from the housekeeping staff to vacate the room.

The Octagon room is superb. I would say it's a bit on the pricey side, but the bath was incredible and the bedding provided was very cozy. Room came with 6 lotus biscoff biscuits and hot chocolate! Lovely breakfast and coffee served in the morning. I was worried the noise from the bar would disturb me but I couldn't hear a thing from the room. The pub, restaurant and room had so much character. Will definitely be visiting again when I'm next passing.

I struggled to figure out what each of the 12 light switches did. Would have been nice to have one for the bathroom light because that was automatic, not ideal in middle of night. Room was a bit worn, with scratches in the bath and cracks in the walls, old cheap furniture. Other than that, everything was brilliant.

Great location easy walking distance to centre. Great cosy pubs nearby. Size of apartment was good with a comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and Tv's in both bedroom and living room.. Staff at check in and downstairs bar were friendly. Good value for money on the whole.

We only stayed one night but unfortunately, the shower leaked quite badly as the screen seal was not attached and kept falling off. Obviously on going problem as floor showed evidence of water damage. Breakfast was slow and a bit disappointing. We were not greeted on arrival had to find staff ourselves. Fried eggs were over cooked with hard yolk and no offer of top ups on our drinks. Order from menu only so no tea/coffee/juice or cereals to help ourselves to while we waited which would have been nice given the lack of service.

The staff at the Cheshire Cat were lovely, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was wonderful, with a wonderful choice, suitable for variety of tastes. The Cheshire Cat building was a wonderful historical masterpiece and I wished more historical masterpieces remained in the country. I even noted that they made provisions for one of my relatives to have breakfast on the ground floor, due to difficulty using stairs. It was nice being in an apartment building near actual Cheshire Cat. Having a separate sitting room from the bedroom was appealing, in case someone wanted to watch TV while the other slept. Having a kitchen separate from the bedroom was appealing, meaning less food in bedroom.

The apartment building near actual Cheshire Cat, was more like a residential flat than hotel room and bedroom a little small. There was dirt on the sitting room carpet and there was leaking water round toilet area and made using toilet difficult on occasions. There was a noted offensive odour from the plumbing and drainage in the bathroom. This constant wetness could lead to future dampness and lead to a further problem of spores, which are dangerous for people with asthma. I was not impressed with paint chipping off in bathroom.

The staff were outstanding and the bed excellent.

Where the television was situated on the dressing table so as I was trying to get ready my husband could not see the television which actually did not work. Also the chair for the dressing table was in the way of the bed so I found it hard to get around the bed. The TV needs really needs to be mounted onto the wall but otherwise the room was comfortable.

Location was very central, check in (even at 1am) was very easy and the room met all our expectations. Good breakfast.

We were left waiting at the table at breakfast for 5-10 mins and had to get menus ourselves as the staff were not able to greet us. The table was also not cleaned and set for us, but there were only 2 staff on and so I understand it might have been difficult. it just would have been nice to be acknowledged and given menus within the first 5 mins of sitting down. Once we were served, they were very friendly. I felt the price was slightly over what I would expect and I think that wedding season probably drives this up a little more.

I have stayed here a few times through work. The place is great. friendly staff. great food and good beer. the rooms are clean and well equipped. The Nice big King Sized bed was comfy. the showers are great. I will be staying again in the future.

The Carpark is a little tight when driving a MWB VW crafter but that's not the hotels fault. Other than that its a great place to stay.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Great to have an iron and ironing board. Loved that we were shown to our room and the lady checked the room key worked.

The room was smaller than I would have liked. Also, I am not a fan of wet rooms. It was really difficult for 2 people to get ready when 1 was showering and the other trying to get ready when the bathroom floor was soaking wet.
