Convenient for where we wanted to be -.this time we went to see the grey seals come in and we weren’t disappointed. Went to the Axe and Cleaver for supper first night and had a lovely meal, second night we went to GiGis the Italian in the village, also very good but we did have to book. Had a drink in the Bay Horse before GiGis and that too was good - friendly staff 😀

Shower not great when presumably others were being used - water pressure dropped but that is the only negative!

Location was great for us peaceful but not to far from where we wanted to be. Room was small but perfectly formed had everything needed. Breakfast was nice, had a lovely little breakfast room with all you wanted for a continental brekkie, tables all laid out for you, just could have done with bit more direction on how to use stuff or where it was, i e. eggs left out but not sure where stuff was to cook them 😊. Nice touch in courtyard with outdoor table under cover to sit for a glass of something. Very nice owners who left you to your own devices which was nice. Only got pics of outside .

It’s quiet location and so close to Donna Nook to see the seals. Lovely room and bathroom was fab.

The bed was not firm enough and we both found sleeping a little uncomfortable. Very springy mattress. Didn’t realise room only when booking through Booking.com. Thought was B&B. We brought our own breakfast so all good.

Beautiful location. Clean and tidy outside and lovely and clean inside. Modern feeling and fresh looking. Not far from beach. A 2 minute drive you can go to a lovely pub that serves great food (book tho, it’s busy) and next door to that is an Italian take away. Breakfast was continental which worried my husband but it was lovely. We had so much choice and it was brilliant!! The guy was friendly that came to greet us, and advised us where we could go to eat.!

The bed was very soft. So soft it felt like I was falling out of it at the side. Also it was only a double bed, so wasn’t very big. (I’m greedy and like a lot of space!) Only enough tea and coffee for one brew each. Would have liked a bit more.

Breakfast option not included. Not a problem as this was a one night stay to visit family close by. My wife and I lived in Louth 60 years ago. Gave us a chance to remember how flat this area of Lincolnshire is and as Art is my hobby, the inspiration of vast skies gave food for thought.

Didn’t like travelling back to the accommodation in the dark on unfamiliar roads, unprotected edges , dykes, 37 mph was fast enough, but the journey was only a short one.

The location was ideal.for us and the room was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and happy to accommodate breakfast around us. The breakfast provided gave a choice and was more than adequate.

The only downside for us was the soundproofing between the rooms and we were unfortunate on both nights to have very noisy neighbours ( on one night someone who swore a lot). The noise from the television clearly travels through the walls and whilst we were mindful of this sadly our neighbours weren't and they stayed up well into the night.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Each day coffee, tea and biscuit supply was stocked up and I was very much left alone, which is what I requested. Location was great, very quiet with plenty on places to walk. I would definitely come back here, Highly recommended.

Nothing! It all worked well for me!

Excellent base camp to stay when visiting the seals, only a three minute drive to where the seals are.

limited options for places to eat, a lot of places were closed only opening from Wednesdays onwards, you need to travel 12 miles to Louth in order to find a decent restaurant for a meal, or coffee shop etc.

Richard was a wonderful host for our short stay. Breakfast was self-service which suits us very well and they had gone to no end of trouble to provide vegan options for my husband. Really thoughtful and much appreciated. The room and wet room were spotlessly clean and fitted out very tastefully with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the surroundings are so quiet it was easy to sleep very soundly.

An exceptional stay, B&B rooms and cottages set in area with layout with flowers etc. very peaceful. As I was walking the coastal path, the accommodation is only about a mile from the coast. Friendly owner, Richard, who showed me to my room and was available at breakfast which was superb, full continental.

I informed Richard, the owner, in the morning that I felt the duvet was heavy and too warm for summer. Otherwise there was nothing I did not like.
