The stay for just one night went extremly well. reception staff were friendly and helpful answering all our questions during our stay. Ordered a taxi for our night out in Northampton for us which arrived on time. The Hotel is mostly on one level which suited us fine. All staff were very friendly, polite and catered for our every need. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and we had a comfortable room looking over the field to the Nature Reserve. Also quite. Bar meals available during the day which we enjoyed on our arrival, with the main restaurant open in the evening from 18.30 for evening meals and 08.00 for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to cater for everyones tastes. Would definately stay here again. Would have loved to stay another couple of nights to be honest.

There was nothing really which we did not like. Only when at the front of the Hotel you could hear the traffic on the A45, but that wasn't a great negative.

The television kept turning off intermittently and eventually wouldn't froze and wouldn't do anything - we were moved to a different room that evening - a bit annoying - and that television turned off intermittently as well. Fortunately we were not watching anything in particular so stayed where we were !

The room was clean and bright and airy. The staff were so helpful and considerate. It was a pleasure to be a guest there. The bar & grill area were really smart and comfortable. Food was really well cooked and enjoyable. The wines were lovely.

Minor things.... The grounds looked scruffy because the ( really long ) cut grass was just scattered around rather than being collected or cut much sooner. It would be nice to make guests more aware of the lake area as it could be such a pretty asset .We enjoyed a short walk around some of it.

Excellent staff, very nice food, easy secure parking, quiet location.

The TV in my first room had a life of it's own, changing channels and turning itself on & off, staff were excellent and I moved to another room, they even gave me a free drink token. The TV in the second room was a lot better but still faulty and very slow, they need to update the system, unless you are happy watching endless adverts from the hotel company extolling their virtues.

Pillows not very comfy. Rooms serviced every 3 days, although if I asked think they would have done it more frequent but didn't ask Food in the restaurant in an evening expensive and 12.5% service charge added (this hotel is in the east midlands, not London lol)

Everything great! Staff, food, bedroom, bathroom. Breakfast had a great choice and everything prepared well. Parking outside hotel and we were allowed to leave car an extra hour for a walk. Water and cookies given to us on arrival. Staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy with our 'quiet' room facing the lake

Could do with a small bin near tea tray and kettle for teabags, milk cartons etc

It's surprisingly very plush inside, although outside is nothing special to look at. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Clean, quality finish, lots of facilities, and attentive staff. I am really pleased to have found this hotel. Great to walk to the golf course and Delepre Abbey which has woods and a lake.

Perfect location. Good sized room. Great breakfast including take away coffee in cups with lids to take away with you.

With the cooked breakfast there was only scrambled eggs. Had to order fried or poached eggs, which arrived by the time we’d nearly finished the rest of our breakfast.

I wouldn’t normally right a review, but stayed for a function at the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make for a great night, attentive and polite! I really couldn’t ask for more. ..so shout out to them!! very pleasant stay, room was clean and had plenty of room

Given a free upgrade to an Elite room. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had a ground floor room and the ceiling creaked every time the elephants in the room above moved around.
