A warm welcome. It was a return stay so I knew what to expect. Cosy en-suit room and really cosy bed. Others have said about the out dated decor but that is the Langham, it has a coziness and doesn't feel commercial. It may all be basic, kettle, hot drink supplies, tv, fridge, but its a homely basic so you feel comfortable. The breakfast was again spot on. Cereals or cooked or both, no one as I have previously written could ever leave, unless of their own accord, hungry. The brothers who own the Langham are very hard working especially at breakfast time and throughout the day. Any problem is dealt with within minutes, depending on the problem but usually are not any. As a single female traveller, its a safe 'go to' hotel. Its easy to get to from Northampton centre and there are shops Inc aldi not too far for evening snacks etc. There are a couple of takeaways nearby too and a race course at the back of the hotel with walk in access a minute walk away.. All in all, a great hotel stay.

On my part of stay, there were no dislikes.

I had stayed here before about 5 years ago. The owners are lovely and friendly people. The bed was comfy for me but a little short for my spouse, his feet hung over the edge. The breakfast is lovely and the facilities in the room are very good, with biscuits and a chocolate with my tea.

The only problem I had was with the group of people who stood outside the front of the hotel on and off for a couple of hours laughing loud and chatting. It was 12.00 - 2.00am. Kept me awake, then they came into the hotel banging doors and shouting to each other etc. What doesn't help is that the windows facing the main road are not double glazed, which would keep the noise outside down. It's a pity that the group were not spoken to by the owners to keep it down.

It was a great experience- the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel is dated and some things might need updating/ improving in the bedroom but for the price we paid it was definitely worth it and we wouldn’t expect more. We would recommend to anyone who is after an affordable, pleasant and hassle-free stay in Northampton. It’s walking distance from town. Fridge, towels and refreshments in the room. And I need to mention the breakfast again, as it was amazing - full English cooked to perfection with the choice of cereal and drinks, couldn’t have been better! Thank you and see you again in the future.

This is a lovely hotel with hard working staff and fantastic facilities. Location is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Northampton and 25 minutes drive from silverstone. Room was a good size, with comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and layers of bedding so you can adjust the bedding to your own comfort. There is plenty of storage a TV with remote but best of all you have a fridge in your room. Overall the room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of cereal to choose from, orange juice and a full English to follow, with toast and preserves. Breakfast was cooked well and served very quickly. Check-in was easy and car park was very secure.

Only reservations I had was the car park was locked at 7pm. (so we rushed back to get into the carpark) although the owner did say to phone them if we would be back later and he would open the gates, and no answer at reception in the evening.

It is very well located, next to a park, walking distance to the town center. The places looks dated, although I think it’s charming, and it was perfectly clean. Lots of storage space in the room, new TV, a kettle and selection of tea and coffee, cookies, little fridge, I couldn’t ask for more. And let’s not forget about the breakfast - very generous and delicious, cooked to order. Overall, this hotel offers a tremendous value.

There was nothing I particularly didn’t like, however I can imagine some people might not appreciate the decor (but come on, it’s not priced like a luxury hotel, quite the opposite) and the gentlemen who run the hotel are not always available, but I understand, they are very busy. I would like to thank them for a very pleasant stay.

We liked the fact that the full english breakfast was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. There was cereal and toast as well as the full english breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee so a hearty breakfast to start the day. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and there was plenty of hot water for the shower and the beds were comfortable (we were in a family room - 2 single beds and a king size bed). We felt the hotel offered good value for money and would be happy to stay at the hotel again in the future.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like about the hotel. The hotel is family run and the owners obviously work hard and operate a well run concern. You cannot beat this hotel for cost, the breakfast and the staff.

Superb find and will be returning in preference to other hotels we have stayed at in the area. Simply amazing value for money and very friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent, full English with table service - Late check-in was not a problem, we arrived at 21.55. Parking is very secure in a locked compound at the rear of the hotel with access straight to accommodation block. Room was comfortable and very clean - Good size TV and full drinks making facilities - Even had a fridge!. Ours didn't have a hairdryer was the only negative but am sure that was either an oversight of we could have requested one. View from our room was over a Park and nighttime was very quiet. Bed was very good too. Bathroom had shower, no bath, and had toiletries supplied too. Decor is somewhat dated, but in good condition - This little hotel is not to be missed, we only booked because of the reviews and I was sceptical that this was possible for the money - It did not disappoint!

No Hair dryer in room - Pack one in case, but ask reception I'm sure they do have them.

The room was really nice with its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. There's a car park where your car is safe, around the back but it can fill up quickly so don't take it for granted. I've stayed many times and would again.

There was a family that kept us awake. I think they were celebrating Ramadan. That's not the fault of the owners but next time I'd ask to not be near anyone who was likely to be awake making so much noise all night.

We've stayed at The Langham before. This time we stayed as we were attending the Royal & Derngate Theatre for a show and it's handy for that. The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms are very basic but that is reflected in the price. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was excellent. There was cereal, orange juice, a choice of a full English breakfast with toast and jams and a pot of tea. Excellent value for money. Also free parking in car park at back of hotel.

A group of men came back to the hotel, in the room next door to ours at 5am on Sunday morning and proceeded to play music and talk very loudly, keeping us awake until 8am, when we got up for our breakfast. Spoilt an otherwise perfect stay.

The hotel was easy to find and even though we were earlier than stated on our check-in time the lovely owners let me park my car and check in early. Room was large and welcoming with plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom Consisted of a bath,walk in shower and a large sink with a toilet. Great views of the front of the hotel. Breakfast was great also, choice of cereals,fruit juice,tea and coffee filled by a full English breakfast.

Room did not have a fridge or neither could I find any hairdryer either. Seems a little picky but that is all I can say.
