We were made very welcome by the manager, when we arrived we thought we had lost our car keys, fortunately we hadn't lost said keys ,but the manager of Abbey grange, couldn't have been more helpful ,we were both going to a family funeral , he helped us by allowing us to stay in our room longer ,as the funeral wasn't until 12 30....we also enjoyed a very good breakfast .

Just one thing but not so important. Maybe cups or mugs ,in place of paper cups !!

Really loved the history, the style, cleanliness, friendliness of owners and staff, closeness to town and to Springwood Haven Marina!!

Well, felt bad that we had to bother the owners for cutlery after they had already retired for the evening. I think it would be great if there was like a separate little lounge area where we could sit if we wanted, but where we could get ice and maybe some cutlery napkins, things like that.

Plenty of off street parking. I got a room upgrade which meant I overlooked where I had parked my motorcycle. The shower and other facilities were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good.I live in a quiet rural location but found that the road was not too busy during the night so I was not disturbed.. I did wear earplugs as a precaution. I did not hear the other guests when I was in my room before going to bed.

It is an older building so the floor in the room was creaky.when you walked about. There is no air conditioning or fan.

This is our second visit to Abbey Grange Hotel. The host is amazing. He always makes us feel welcome and has a great sense of humour. Breakfast is always fantastic. We are always looked after. Unfortunately one person was poorly and couldn’t come. I was happy to pay for a double room, after all, it was very short notice, however the host was extremely generous and refunded me part of my payment. I was very grateful for this. We shall be returning again next year.

We just love Abbey Grange. The proprietor is the perfect host, the breakfast perfect in quiet surroundings with TV in the background to catch the news, comfy clean bed, good storage space, ideally situated for local music venues. Plenty of parking on site.

We had a different room to usual as we booked last minute and this one a bit short on plug sockets for our needs and paper cups/stirrers not ideal for hot drinks, we prefer a proper cup and teaspoons. This is nit picking though as everything else spot on.

Lovely building. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help with directions. Waited on us for breakfast. And left us in peace for the remainder of the time. I even left a charger there and when I got in touch the following day, they sent it on to us promptly in the post without charge. Really happy with our stay. Can see it being somewhere you could stay for an event or occasion ie wedding, anniversary etc.

The only problem we had was the temperature. It was in the cold month of January in freezing conditions. There was a draft coming from the window, the radiator was under the window, had to use the curtains to block the cold air coming in and retain some heat. And was a little disappointed that the on site bar was not available to us, I dont know if its only used for functions or if it was because we were the only guests on that night. So it was understandable.

Nuneaton doesnt seem to have lots of options for hotels. I was attending a gig at the queens hall and chose Abbey Grange due to its close proximity to the venue. No complaints whatsoever. Hosts where friendly, check in was easy, and the single room was perfect. Spotlessly clean and comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Nuneaton.

Nuneaton may not be no 1 on the list of premier UK destinations, but if you have reason to go there, do not hesitate to book the Abbey Grange! Quiet location yet convenient, with a warm welcome, spotless room and a very good breakfast. Aside from this, it is also adapted as an excellent venue for music - bands/duos take note.

Can't think of a thing

Very helpful & friendly staff. Everything clean. Tasty full English breakfast. Very convenient location for Nuneaton Town centre. Large room. Felt good to stay somewhere independent, not a big chain hotel.

The bathmat was thin. There were plastic disposable cups not glass glasses in the rooms, which isn't very sustainable. And disposable coffee cups, which aren't as nice to drink out of as China ones. But overall very good stay. Thank you

A really friendly host! Pierre provided us with very handy information which guided us to somewhere to eat and directions to our venue for the evening. We enjoyed a great cooked breakfast the following morning after a good nights sleep. The room had all the facilities we required and was clean, well furnished and quiet despite being at the front of the property. We will be definitely staying at Abbey Grange in the future when visiting the area. Many thanks!
